My experience at Eden Estates

Reviewed By 545noelk

I had a chance to experience the difference at Eden. Beautiful place. Food is good and can be improved. I feel the conference room is not conducive for events at this time. No tiles, plus the furniture is very poor. If they can work on the conference room and bring up to great, standards I will be happy to recommend to all my peers.

Fabulous place with wonderful people

Reviewed By Xena D

Loved this place. We felt like we were staying with old friends. Taffy and Leoni are the best hosts. He is funny, informative full of stories and enjoyable conversations especially with a few sundowners. She is warm and caring and works hard behind the scenes to make sure guests are well taken care of and comfortable. Rooms are spacious and clean and well designed with a nice sitting area and fabulous king sized bed with good quality linen and pillows- perfect after camping for a week. The boat trips are well worthwhile and good value for money to see the fish eagles and do some snorkelling. The staff are friendly and attentive and keen to help. There are plenty of wooden loungers on the beach with cushions brought to you by the staff so a great way to enjoy the beach. To top it off of course there is the sense of being somewhere special in Norman Carrs own place he built for some well earned R&R. Thanks for a memorable and fantastic stay and with sn unexpected pleasure of an encounter with ‘Pickering’ - perfect

Kuti Wildlife Reserve

Kuti Wildlife Reserve is located in central Malawi. This nation is known as ‘The Warm Heart of Africa’, both for its stunning beauty and friendly people. Kuti is home to a variety of animals native to this area. Although no dangerous predators live here, there are plenty of animals such as zebra, eland, monkeys, giraffe and a great variation of birds. The absence of dangerous game makes the park accessible on foot or by bicycle, which gives you a unique and up-close experience with the bush. Besides sharing the beauty of nature, Kuti Wildlife Reserve is important for the local communities. We raise awareness about ecology and support community projects. By changing local perceptions of wildlife, we hope to preserve wildlife for future generations. Visit Kuti and experience the unique tranquillity of the African bush!

Amazing magical place

Reviewed By fransY8939NQ

We had a lovely villa with two very large bedrooms and both having a large en-suite. The spacious sitting area complete with its own kitchen meant you could easily prepare food and the outside barbecue and fire pit meant you could relax outside round the table or lounge around on the comfy chairs. The villa was amazing with it’s it’s beautiful high pitched thatched roof and windows looking straight out into nature. Of course this was only part of the story, the park is well stocked with wildlife and we enjoyed early morning and sunset drives and we were left with magical memories and photos .So will have to do for now until with have another chance to visit again

Chenje's Nest

needs some attention and care

Reviewed By reveron-nyc

I want to stress that the employees at Chenje's Nest were wonderful, and are definitely doing their best with a somewhat difficult situation. And the building and grounds clearly can be quite pretty and comfortable. The problem seems that things have been left to go a bit. When I visited, the WiFi did not work at all, the television in the living room was operational but had no satellite service so there was nothing to watch, and the place seemed poorly stocked and maintained -- very little food, some mold showing in various places, and the pool was like a green pond. While it's true that the price is low, the advertising (saying it has WiFi, pictures showing a clean pool) are misleading. Chenje's has nice and helpful staff, and they deserve a better-maintained facility. I think this guest house could be a lovely place and a great deal, but it needs attention from the management.
