Reviewed By 468sushilsBooked through agoda for 2 days. received booking confirmation twice from agoda. When called a day before and even showed booking details the staff senied any such booking and denied availability of room. Rudely said to speak to agoda and said will not take your booking.

Reviewed By ShrutiliciousLocation - Fabulous located on Darbhanga ghat on the banks of river Ganga. Close to Dashwamedha ghat where the Ganga Aarti happens. Approach - 4 approaches the toughest one being from the Darbhanga Ghat easiest being from Madanpura Hotel - belongs to the Dwivedi Hotels group of 4 hotels. Can’t say much of the other hotels. Room - Saptarshi Suite is the best due to it location facing the Ganga. Small balcony good to stand and view the Ganga Cleanliness- is decent can’t expect much in smaller hotels like this one Reception - Ajay Vicky very proactive and helpful. Food - THE WORST cook with attitude here. Please avoid meals better to eat dry snacks as food is tasteless. Basic breakfast boiled egg bread butter jam toast fruits cornflake and milk served daily. Only Indian items change. Eggs on order aren’t possible and the cook has no clue to make omelette so pls don’t order. Ketchup is poured to make omelette, fried rice and at times the cook cheats on by scrapping boiled egg as omelette. Please change your cook and his attitude. Plug points - please change the same. One can only charge 1 mobile. Only one point near the bed. Other 2 points are at a height so one needs to carry long cables. The kettle given doesn’t reach any other point except one next to the bed. So massive juggling required. Quilt- suggest hotel to go ECO friendly to avoid change of bed sheets/ quilts and towels instead of having torn ones.

Kesher Guest House is a family run guest house with 5 double bed rooms. At the first floor we have two rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen and one more room with attached bathroom. At the second floor we have two AC rooms with attached bathroom: a simple double bed room and a suite room with kitchen and lobby with fridge facility.

Reviewed By narayanansubramaniamRecently we stayed in this PG Home for ten days.Lovely and homely stay we enjoyed.Thanks to the hospitality extended by Mr.Ashwanikumar and his team of people for auto & taxi services .To a great extend he meticulously planned my tour plan in and around Varanasi including Saranath & Allehabad.In letter and spirits it was a nice experience of home stay.I strongly recommend this home stay near Assi ghat for a cool and calm stay at reasonable cost.

Reviewed By ostachecI had the opportunity to visit this out of the ordinary city and we chose Hotel Rahil Palace. It was the best decision we undertook! We found spacious rooms, isolated from the never ending car honking from outside. Situated in the city center, this place comes with an incredibly helpful and gentle staff. Despite the few English language impediments, do know that they will do anything in their power to help you out. If by any chance to chose the same hotel, keep in mind the following: if hot water seems missing, just go downstairs to reception, tell them your problem and they will take care of it. The restaurant that is attributed to this hotel is pretty big and offers a variety of dishes. All in all I recommend this hotel without holding back! Thank you for everything Jayant!

Reviewed By Ananth727499Located in the midst of the city. This hotel is situated a bit inside the main road. The road to this hotel is narrow. Good and neat rooms.. Front desk service is good. Travelling arrangements are also made available through the hotel management.. Neatly maintained and good buffet for the morning breakfast (it's complimentary for the guests staying in the hotel).. Cost of the rooms is a bit high.. The nearest attraction is Bharath Mata temple.. Kindly note that there are no available restaurants near this hotel and you have to go around 3 kms for good restaurants.. Tea and coffee are available outside the hotel at a much cheaper rate. Kindly use it of you prefer to mingle with the local and observe the surrounding..

BEST HOTEL IN VARANASI
Reviewed By 357_mr_kThe hotel has a great location just at the border to oldtown. So it is not as hectic as in the center and nevertheless essy to reach by tuktuk or rickshaw. Very clean, very comfortable rooms with nice design. I was even upgraded to a Royal Club! Excellent breakfast and a nice Restaurant as well. The staff was always very nice and helpful. Thanks to Hotel Satya Team..... It's a very nice place to visit with your family or friends.

Prime location, near to Ghats and Temples

The well known Kashi Vishwanath temple which is one of the 12 Jyotirlings in India is just 10 mins walk from the property. One of the most famous ghats on the River Ganges, Dashashwamegh ghat is just 6 mins stroll from this place. You can enjoy evening Ganga Arti at this ghat and morning Arti at the nearby Assi Ghat which is also not too far away All the modes of transport like autos, battery rickshaw are easily available to visit other parts of Varanasi like BHU, Sarnath, Sankatmochan temple There are many famous chaat corners (Indian delicacies) nearby this property. The property is owned by Mr. Prabhu who also happens to stay on the upper floor of the property while the 5 rooms at the lower floor have been made available for guests. The rooms are very spacious. There is a family room which can accomodate 4-5 people. There are budget rooms with a common toilet as well which serves the purpose of solo and budget travellers So if you are looking for a budget property to stay at a prime location in Varanasi and experience the feel of staying at one of the homes of a local family, Suraj Inn is definitely a place for you
