Great hotel with cozy vibe and everything you need
Reviewed By 148bawanaMe and my partner stayed here this week for 4 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is tidy, clean and the staff is very friendly. Especially at the reception, they think along and are very helpful. Last Saturday, they also had live music with a great guitarist, which we really enjoyed. Don't expect a resort service, obviously it is not a resort. But it has everything else. Clean rooms, decent food, great location with a wonderful private beach. No complaints whatsoever and price-quality wise really good!

The environment was clean and tidy, with many deliciously cooked local dishes and the best part is that you can customise your breakfast and meals. They have spacious rooms with all necessary amenities and a peaceful and calm ambience. I highly recommend it and the crew are just lovely with special performances on Friday or Saturday Nights! Love it!

badly managed
Reviewed By 1meanfiddlerI have placed a supplier from overseas in this hotel. I live in Tamarin and have visited the hotel for lunch on four separate occasions to celebrate friend's birthdays. The setting is absolutely stunning, the hotel is clean. The service is shocking, almost non-existent at times ie: having to call a waiter every time one wanted a drink. On every occasion I have been there about 50% of the drinks and wine list is not available. 30% of the food items on the menu are not available, seriously ! Four glasses of 125ml wine (cheap wine ) cost Rs1000. On our last visit over December, everyone complained about their food except the two that had curry. I have never had a manager come and see what the problem is or even stop for a courtesy chat to see if all is good. Save yourself the frustration and money, and go picnic on the beach

Reviewed By RetjaWe stayed at Bella Vista During Dec 2016. The hotel is very basic but the view, breakfast and beach are EXCELLENT. Great value for money. Close to shops and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Plage pas très loin Wifi (pas capte pas dans l'ensemble des pièces) Seul bémol c'est que c'est dommage que l'appartement n'était pas très propre dès le 1er jour. Ce n'est pas vraiment plaisant de nettoyer son appartement alors que j'aurais dû l'avoir propre. Je pense que c'est des petits détails que vous auriez pu éviter pour que mes vacances se passent à merveille. Donner juste un petit coup de neuf à l'appartement et je pense que les gens vont encore plus apprécier.

Nice and homely Stay
Reviewed By nomadsfixWe stayed at Gite Des acacias for 2 nights. One when we arrived in Mauritius and one before we leave Mauritius. The guesthouse is conveniently located less than 10min drive from the Airport. On arrival Dimitry gave us a tour of the property. The room on the small side, has aircon which works well (although on the on the noisy end), and everything you need. Wifi was good. They offer an option to have a buffet dinner made of local creole cuisine and we recommend as it was delicious. You share the meal with Dimitry and Isabelle, the owners, and other guests, if they are any others. So we had a lovely social evening talking about everything with the owners and another couple we met (and stayed in touch since). For breakfast you get plenty of food, bread, pancakes, yogurt, juice but most of all the jams are homemade by the housekeeper and they are just delicious! We would recommend the place and if you could stay longer it would be a great base. Note that there is nothing really around to eat so you'd better consider this! It's excellent value for money in our opinion!

Reviewed By Eapen TAn excellent apartment to stay. Stayed for 20 days, felt like home, didn’t feel like leaving when it was time to go. Very well kept, neat and tidy rooms. All amenities including the cooking vessels were present. Bathroom was clean. Everything is exactly how it was described in the internet site. Greatly recommended for the parents of students studying in the medical colleges when they come visiting. The host is very friendly and helpful.

Reviewed By 861paulinelNous y avons séjourné pour une nuit seulement car nous n’avons pas été charmé par le lieu. Il s’agit d’un « lotissement résidentiel » où les résidences privées de tourisme fleurissent et s’entassent les unes sur les autres. Le secteur est en travaux. Nous avions un appartement spacieux et équipé correctement (2 petites cuillères pour un logement 4 personnes !?). Le balcon est équipé d’un salon de jardin et de deux transats (à la propreté douteuse). Séjour trop court pour profiter de la piscine, la plage de Mont Choisy est très proche. Pour aller dîner, nous avons pris la voiture car la route, non loin, est très passante et les trottoirs inexistants. Une machine à laver est à disposition, c’est un excellent point pour celles et ceux qui souhaitent y poser leurs valises. L’accueil est sympathique.
