Reviewed By wonderstickStayed at Mriya Resort & Spa with my Mom in October. The checkin process was really smooth even for not local. We had a small problem with the booking, but it was resolved immediately. We’ve got a really nice room with mountain and see view. Stuff is really good. We requested additional chair and got it in minutes. Food is really good, although don’t take „loose weight“ program. It will be really problematic with such a huge variety of food offered by open table. The medical stuff is very competent and procedures are great. All and all will recommend it to everyone who would like to enjoy sun, air and see of Crimea.

Good and bad..
Reviewed By mattsbeamerOn the first evening I arrived late, it was dark and I had to find the reception building. My friend had to come out and show me where the reception was, and when I got there they seemed to be unable to do anything, until my friend had to be firm with them. Reception then sent me to another building where my room was. Anyway after walking everywhere in the dark (all the lights were turned off)I found the correct building (the signs were all turned around by kids). The reception in this building was a lot better. Marsha and Vera really helped me out through out the 3 weeks I was there and this hotel really needs to know how great these two ladies are. Second day I went to breakfast in the buffet zone, to be honest I was very disappointed with the lack of food, and the quality, and apparently the staff got annoyed if a kid didn't eat all their food. Two days later my wife came to join me, when I was out and about, she was in our room and it turned out that bathroom fluids from the room above was dripping down to our bathroom. We had to change (well my poor wife had too as I was offsite). She had to check the 4 rooms of the same style to find the best. One of 4 still hAd urine on the seat. Luckily the room she chosen had 3 windows so it wasn't so dark and depressing. But the bathrooms in the two rooms I had stank like sewage, in the mornings. Quite often I had to ask for more water or toilet rolls as they didn't top them up. The girl in the room next to me only had one towel, and we know how many girls need... The room was an ok size, very Soviet as with the whole site. My friend had the big cottage, and it was ok, not worth the very high price IMO, and my other friend had the biggest room in the main building. Some of the doors didn't work, instead of misty glass, they stuck tinfoil in the Windows to block people from seeing you. The hotel has a few restaurants, a big pirate ship, good choice of food on menu, but my tummy was bad afterwards. They have one near the pool, and that was a bit better, nice bbq thou I kept getting a bad tummy when I ate at any of the restaurants, especially the big buffet hall. One day myself, my friends kid, family and nanny got very bad tummies one day, so bad they were considering leaving. The only person who never got a bad tummy was my wife, because she wouldn't eat at this hotel, and went to the hotel/restaurant next door called Malibu. The food here was much better. Enough of the negative stuff. The site: the gardens are beautiful, and it's a great place to go for walks, with lots of activities to do and you will see the great entertainment staff giving master classes, all throughout the day and till very late. The main guy Lev was amazing, funny and even got me to dance. He has a great team with him, especially the DJ (I'm not never good at remembering Russian names). There are a lot of activities for kids to do, and I loved going out on the banana boat. The beach is quite nice, thou don't go in if the temp is over 28 degrees C as the sea isn't that salty and infections can be caught, as myself and some of the kids found out. One girl had a serious temperature problem. The kids seemed to like the playground, especially the big submarine and princess carriage, thou don't leave kids unsupervised. The sports area was cool, lots of activities here, big sports hall to play tennis basket ball etc, thou some of it needs refreshing. The gym is ok for keeping fit. There is also a big indoor pool which has a big water fall. My favorite part of this hotel was the outdoor pool. It also has a few games of water polo a day. My friend did complain after cutting his foot on the step thou. I wouldn't come back here for a few reasons, but all this hotel needs to do is 1. Work on the food areas, get higher quality food and clean the plates better etc. 2. Sort out the plumbing in building 1. 3. Find a better taxi company to deal with.... 4. Sort that wooden flooring out on the ship, it's so delicate. 5. Have more lights around the dark paths. 6. At least have someone in reception who can speak English, it's the first hotel I have been to that doesn't have a receptionist that speaks English, and it's the 8th hotelI have visited here. It's a shame really, the friends I went with all said this place used to be better, and that this year standards have dropped. Please take note, as I know you have do much to offer.

The real pearl of the Crimea
Reviewed By Bohdan_12Two weeks of rest in the great park 10 min from Yalta - the tourists' capital of the Crimea. The main tourist attraction - "Ласточкино гнездо" (Bird-nest) is the neighbour of its park and you can visit it every day during your staying there for free!!! As for me, the best advantage) Facilities include an indoor salt water pool, fitness center, sports fields, tennis courts, a concert hall, a cafe-bar, a library, a hairdresser, a beauty parlor, a tour desk, a dance pavilion. The rooms differ from VIP and cottages to double standarts. They are in 8 buildings+3 cottages. Prices: 400-5000 UAH ($50-$600). I was drinking oxygen cocktails, breathing inhalations, sleeping and relaxing in a salt room every day! It was so... unusual treatment. But you can buy other procedures for your own illnesses;) As for food... It's the only nagative point. I bought snaks and had lunches in cafe, because the nutrition value of canteen's food is poor. But waitresses are friendly and we felt like relatives with two girls after all) The lack or English information or this resort is pity. But this information will be interesting for you! Reviewed By Sol MОтдыхали по соседству с этими эллингами, а эллинги - это построенный на берегу моря УЖАС, не знаю, как даже лучше описать - хаотично созданное длинное, уродливое здание в несколько этажей непонятной архитектуры слепленное из отдельных блоков. Как могли испоганить этим ужасом берег, кто такое разрешил и как там отдыхают люди? Строили видимо вскладчину(поэтому названий эллингов может быть много, так как сдают отдельные помещения) и незаконно. Береговой линии нет, на ее месте конструкции из бетона и ржавого металла, защищающие здание от волн, между которыми паркуют автотраспорт. В воду вход прямо со стоянки, загорают видимо на балконах. Проходя мимо ощущения тяжелые, не понятно, как в таком месте можно отдыхать.
