Every single aspect of the island and the service vastly exceeded our expectations. As picturesque as a post card, but it was the service offered here was what really blew us away. Michelin level food and service at the restaurant for every meal, staff members always at the ready to help you with any possible need, room service with surprise bottles of champagne, and the loveliest servers I’ve ever dealt with. I don’t have the words to praise them highly enough. Deepu, our butler, deserves a particular mention for his amazingness the whole time. Wow.

Special thanks to @ Mahesh from the catering team, he took very special care of us our food and the drinks. He didn’t leave any chance of any complains and was the best host during all our meals. Very friendly and a nice humble champ. Thanks to @Suraj too for taking care of the drinks at our table and making sure nothing is incomplete . Young kiddo so humble. Special thanks to the whole team of Sun Siyam. Our 3 day stay was the best experience so far!!!

Reviewed By _V7304VSNot only Butlers (especially our butler, Quynh) but also every staffs are very kind They provide so many interestings such as snorkeling and sunset fishing, spa, honeymoon dinner, dolphin cruise…etc Bartenders at Pool bar make almost liquor you want Other restaurants also have a lot of delicious menus 친절 폭행범들입니다. 차가 식기전에 돌아오는 관우마냥 술이나 음료 잔이 비워지기도 전에 와서 채워줄지 물어봅니다. 식당 주위를 어슬렁 어슬렁 누비면서 친절함으로 패고다닙니다. 그냥 걸어다니는 꼴을 못봅니다. 이동하는 버기가 태워주냐고 묻습니다.

COMO Cocoa Island has reopened on the 9th of January 2020 following a seven-month refurbishment. COMO Cocoa Island is home to 34-overwater villas inspired by local Dhoni boats, the accommodations have been recast top-to-bottom with clean-lined contemporary interiors created by Singapore-based Lekker Architects. The resort also gained an open-sided Pilates and yoga studio, which sits in an elevated position above the lagoon offering 360-degree views. A thrid of the private Island is occupied by the COMO Shambhala Retreat, the island's wellness centre, which offers Asian-based wellness therapies, nutritional advise and exercise in the resort's state-of-the-art new gym. A highlight is the hydrotherapy pool with high-pressure jets used for water-based treatments. COMO Cocoa Island is also providing activities to complement the holistic wellness offering, such as a PADI-certificate dive centre, reef diving, wreck diving, UV night snorkeling and whale shark expeditions.

We stayed here 10 years ago for our honeymoon and again for our 10 year and would be happy to return again. Most Maldives resorts are “perfect” but they all have different personalities. This one is for primarily couples who want to do nothing but relax on a small island. If you seek adventure and parties, this isn't the resort for you. This resort is top tier for its beauty, service, luxury, and friendliness. The food was fantastic. Attention to detail in presentation and design was high. the sand bank was especially cool feature to walk out on. The units were all done very well. If you want privacy, stay in an overwater hut. The Dhoni style units and the lofts were both equally nice, one just has a bed on the top. Massages were also top notch. We got one every day. The hydro pool was especially unique (though a bit pricey if you don't have a package). Should be included with the stay IMO. Could be okay for small children, if you want them to roam the island and run around safe but not too much for them to do except explore and run. Would definitely return here.

Perfect island not so far from Male
Reviewed By 255pavelkWe visited Maldives for the first time and it took a long time to choose a hotel. We ended up staying at Velassaru and it turned out to be a great choice! The island itself is very well maintained and the villas are cleaned twice a day (if you need so, of course)! The staff are friendly and always willing to help. We also booked a wedding ceremony for which our manager helped to choose a day with the best weather, the photos came out just perfect! Thank you Faisal once again.

Reviewed By Rarin786We just returned home from our trip to Anantara Dighu and we are missing every moment spent there from the breathtaking view to the food to the great hospitality of the staff and the cleanliness of the room- everything Wins a five star experience. Amazing Staff I would like to thank few of the staff that made our trip very memorable. Kadir in the reception went above and beyond to accommodate us. We were there to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, kadir arranged to decorate our room with flower petals and also helped my husband to get a cake to surprise me. He also gave us a tour of the resort and captured some beautiful pictures for us that will be very close to our heart. The staff in this resort felt like family that we got emotional leaving the island. Great Food The food and restaurants were fabulous. Our favorite was the Thai food and the beach BBQ. The chef from the beach bbq personally came to greet us and wish us. Chef Kabirs food was cooked to perfection for the bbq as well as in the dinner buffet in the Fushi cafe- great quality food and very tasty. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety ranging from Maldivian cuisine, Asian, Arabic and etc. Family friendly We traveled with 2 kids and this resort is very kid friendly. They welcomed us with a cupcake decorating basket for the kids and bracelet personalized with their names. This was very thought and brought a big smile in their face. The resort also have a kids club where they have different activities scheduled throughout the day. The staff at the kids club were lovely and kids enjoyed spending time there. They also provided bicycles for the kids which they enjoyed a lot. Oh we met Joker there, his name is actually Joker. He checked on us everyday and interacted with the kids at breakfast. Was very friendly. Cleanliness The rooms were serviced 2x a day. Plenty of water bottles and great nespresso coffee daily refilled in room. Beaches The beaches are breathtaking with crystal clear water and white sand. Picnic island We visited the picnic island it is within the resort very cute spot to spend the day. We had lunch at the restaurant there. One of the staff there named Rafiq was very nice made very good drinks. Overall, we had a perfect vacation and I would definitely re- visit.

Thanks to the restaurant chefs and team for taking care of our vegan dietary needs. They made few Vegan items every day and took care of us! The rooms were clean, neat and comfortable. Transaport arrangements were good and on the dot. Thanks to the sea and fishes which made the visist even more enjoyable.

We went on a snorkelling excursion with Shiham and the sea life didn’t disappoint. The reef around the island was amazing! The food was fantastic with a balance of European and Asian dishes. Room service was brilliant. We really loved the organic and relaxed feel around the island. All in all, it was a fantastic experience! Thank you to the EmBudu team and a special shout out to our waiter Muaz!
