Reviewed By BangkokSachseAfter visiting Koh Tao, we stayed at Baan Krut Acadia one night. The check in process was fast. Then an officer showed us the room by the pool with ocean view. The room is large and the bathroom is big. The buffet breakfast was good. The parking is adequate. The ocean views were beautiful.

Reviewed By unalomewRoom is dirty and rundown, yet expensive. They will charge you for everything from extra duvet to a bedsheet. Food is very random. Something tasted ok, some are horrible i.e. desserts. There’s no manager to talk to. Everyone is just a worker. We won’t revisit.

We had dinner at the resort restaurant. The fish dish and the pork soup were delicious. The resort is beautiful. The pool is good. The breakfast was acceptable.

There is a swimming pool. and next to the sea There is a buffet breakfast, which includes boiled rice, fried rice, omelettes, etc. The night air here is very pleasant for a walk. There was a gentle wind blowing from the sea. cool weather As for the room, it's very clean. There is a cool air conditioner to sleep comfortably. spacious room The bathroom has a water heater. There is good privacy here. And I really like the ice cream here. especially the strawberry flavor It's sweet and has a bit of strawberry flesh. It's delicious. If there is a chance, I will visit again.

Reviewed By brumleeStayed here for 5 nights and it didn't stop raining?so couldn't use the swimming pool although it did look nice.Basic ordered breakfast and no evening restaurant.I hope that changes one day.The place is at the far end of the beach so it's pretty quiet.Our room was a nice size and clean with a big balcony and the staff were nice and friendly.At the moment it's mainly Thai families that stay there. If we are in the area again we would stay here.

Reviewed By Ilonka1970Very good resort. Great view from the rooms/villas. Direct at the beach. great staf, really helpful even when the English language was a bit difficult for some of the staf. Nice food. Relax to the max. Family with a 15 yr old daughter. All of us enjoyed the 4 days stay.

A diamond in the rough
Reviewed By frezki1967The resort is best described as rustic! Rooms are clean but very basic- power goes off daily and there are holes cut in the roof in the bathroom to let in light. But... we had a fabulous time. Snorkeling is excellent and just off the beach, or there is a raft trip daily in the morning. Squid fishing in the afternoon and just hangin' in a hammock the rest of the day. Food was excellent and the staff are lovely. We were also treated to a turtle release to celebrate the King's birthday- an unexpected delight. Definitely worth the trip.

The resort is situated on a dead end road so the traffic is close to nothing. Nice little bar close to the small but well kept pool. Staff was professional and nice. Really nice low budget resort?

OK, but in need of a renovation

The bungalow is in need of a renovation -- just look at the television in the rooms of the photos on their website. We appreciated the outdoor shower though. Food is reasonable but a bit more expensive than ususal. The bikes for rent are a disaster. This resort is a bit out of the way, but it seemed that not many tourists were around (beginning of January). It will be different in the weekend with Thai people visiting, we presume. Staff is very friendly but not attentive.

Reviewed By bluntpencilWe spent a total of three nights in this quiet little resort located (literally) 10 metres from the beach front. We were fortunate enough to have the entire place to ourselves for two nights before other guests arrived on our third night. It is located in the quieter part of Ban Krut but is only a 10 minute walk to the 'centre of town' where the 7-11 and Tesco are located. It is also only a 10 minute walk to the nearby seafood restaurants which are open from about 10am in the morning. The resort has a number of bicycles (old and not too well kept but functional) that you can borrow to get to where you want to, if you don't want to walk. The pool isn't actually on the premises but is a short 150m walk from the resort grounds. The staff don't speak much English but enough to provide you information on the nearby amenities and the like.
