A great hotel for a relaxing stay
Reviewed By Tony BThis is a gem and I would definitely stay again. The complex is six years old and set just outside Dossobuonno among fields of Kiwi Fruit and vines. It is a 20 minute walk into town and there 4 or 5 restaurants and pizzerias. There is a train into Verona but the service is limited. Best to drive into Verona and park in one of the various car parks.

Beautiful B&B
Reviewed By Cri20135A very nice find near Orta San Giulio, everything is brand new and extremely clean. The rooms are large with nice balconies overlooking the garden, complete with chairs and hammock. Plenty of storage space and a big bathroom. They are very attentive to details and it shows in their little welcome gifts ;). The breakfast was incredible and I would recommend staying there if only to eat. There was an amazing spread of local cheeses, charcuterie, savoury cakes and delicious sweets. The staff was very kind and generous. You can easily reach the center by foot by bike and it is just a few minutes' walk from the train station.

Reviewed By albinaepaoloWe enjoyed a great lunch with "Sciatt", "Antipasto del borgo", "Pizzoccheri", and the most astonishing dish: "Tagliolino al missultin". The price is right for the level of the food we enjoyed. The staff is very clever, providing suggestions based on customer's preferences.

Nice and modest lodging near Lago di Tovel
Reviewed By auditorontourWe stayed two nights in the guest room. The room was a bit dark and cold with the tiled floor. We had our own bathroom and even a tiny TV. But the room was very clean, and somebody came to clean every day. The family Leita were amazing hosts, they gave us so many useful tipps and the guest card with which we had free parking and entrance to all the local sights and attractions, and even a discount at a couple of restaurants and shops. The breakfast was modest with a couple of yoghurts, some homemade pastry and jam, tee, coffee and juice but it was enough and super tasty. Lago di Tovel is reachable by car in 15 min.

I nostri alloggi sono semplici, ma funzionali e confortevoli e si integrano perfettamente in un ambiente esterno lontano dal movimento e dai rumori della città. Le stanze sono tutte dotate di bagno privato, scrivania, Wi-Fi, aria condizionata, mini TV, prodotti da bagno, bollitore e mini frigo. Si contraddistinguono per i colori dei dipinti realizzati a mano da una nostra cara amica artista e per i per i piccoli dettagli che le rendono uniche, tutti accuratamente scelti per farvi sentire a casa.
A weekend with friends ruined by the owner’s bad manners.
Reviewed By 187849AnaI just spent a week end here with a large group of friends (16 people). We booked months in advance hoping to get all the place for ourselves. Some time before check-in we learned some extra rooms had been built so there were other guests too. We asked if there was a curfew for turning off the music and we’re told that it was midnight. So we had a small party on the first evening outdoors (just right next to our rooms and far away from the other rooms). Next morning we asked if we disturbed anyone and the lady said no one complained. Next evening after a swim, we sat by the pool with food and music. It was 9:58 pm when suddenly the music was turned off and the owner came yelling at us saying we had to stop right away and we had to go to our rooms, scolded like little children. He was really rude, even if we had bothered other guests, and we apologized immediately, this was such a bad manner to handle guests. This is no way to treat clients. For this, I do not recommend staying in this place.

Reviewed By Schweizer_6000Enjoyed two nights (a recommended minimum to be there!) with wife and baby. Amazing place, would definitely go again for the Swiss Pod. Excellent breakfast: not a huge choice, but superb quality of local food. This is exactly my taste. Roxane at breakfast and tea time did a great job, the same as the (apparently new) GM Jonas, who looks after every guests. If you hesitate to book: just book and enjoy!

Breathtaking mountain house
Reviewed By yafeiabbyhWe spent wonderful 3 nights in this beautiful mountain house. Amazing amazing view in the room. The host can not be more caring and thoughtful for everything. He prepared good homemade breakfast and warm tea and coffee when we came back from snow. He also gave good tips of where to see nearby. There was even a code to join some activities that was holding by the tourism office for free. We chose ski de fond and it was fantastic! The farm can be visited scheduled with the host. The kids loved it! We felt very relaxing in the house. This was the vacation we were wish for. If I can give more than 5 stars, I would not hesitate.

Great welcome at the end of an incredibly beautifull walk
Reviewed By carolinepascalwoodThe refuge itself is very nice, clean, spacious and well equipped with nothing missing from toilets to board games and guitars to play. But what makes it really enjoyable is the volunteer team of people that run the place, they are very friendly and excellent cook. We celebrated the 18th birthday of our daughter up there for which we were served a lovely and delicious cake! Prices are very reasonable and considering that most goes to a charity in Peru you don't mind spending anyway. The view from the refuge's terrace is breathtaking. The climb is easy on a sunny day, but be prepared for high altitude cold and remains of snow at the beginning of summer.
