Average hotel with horrible service
Reviewed By CamillaLWe stayed for three nights at this hotel on our visit to Ponta Negra. The location is pretty good with easy access to the beach and restaurants. The hotel itself is average with ok rooms and a decent breakfast. What really destroyed our experience, however, was the hotel service. Even before we got there, they had refused to arrange an airport pickup, writing back in incomprehensible English. When we got there, only one person spoke any English, which is not uncommon in Brazil and usually not a problem as you can get past a lot of language barriers with some goodwill on each side. However, this guy just had a horrible attitude everytime we asked for anything. The first room was right by the reception, making it impossible to sleep past 6 am. When we asked to move, we were told we could do this around 10 am. We therefore went to the beach, but when we returned and asked for the new room, he almost looked surprised and told us it wasn't ready. It took an additional hour and a half to get things in order, and when it finally was the guy just pointed in the direction of the new room and didn't bother to help move our luggage or anything. We also wanted some help on how to catch a bus to our next destination. However, his repsons was again rude and dismissive so I had a Brazilian friend call the bus company to double check the info he had given me - which turned out to be completely wrong! The final straw came when we had asked the hotel to book a taxi to the bus station the following morning- and they hadn't even managed to that and we were almost 40 minutes late departing the hotel. When we left, they didn't even look up to say good bye. Good riddance - I will never go back.

Reviewed By Dante2011It is right on your way, easy in and out if you are passing trough. Noise can be an issue, since many/most of the travelers might check in late in the night. Bring earplugs which together with a long day driving will make noise unnoticed. Restaurant: Good service, meals variety and quality, and price very commendable. Managers know their business and forthcoming, I have an small issue with a waitress and he stepped in offering to solve the problem. In summary, for one or even two days is the best solution in town.

You can also sleep at the motel and the price is reasonable. All the rooms (from the simplest to the more expensive (for instance, the bangalo s rooms) are all very good.

Was nicer the first time
Reviewed By Tracy HFirst time I stayed there I had a room in the front row. (#'s 1-10) This time I had #19 in the second row. I was given a room with 4 twin beds (clean and comfortable). The Wi-Fi only worked from the parking lot outside the room (made it useless). Breakfast was as expected, lunch menu typical Argentine, (very good, not so healthy) In room heater and a/c units looked hazardous. Show arrangement was no curtain, shower the room!
