We had a room off in a corner by the pool entrance that way nice and quiet for our family of 5. The beds seemed a little small, but we didn't mind that. They were comfy and we got a good night's rest before heading out to finish our long drive in the morning. The check-in process was extremely fast and easy and the guy who checked us in was very friendly. We appreciated the fast check-in since our toddler was getting very cranky from being in the car so long. We'd stay here again.

We talked with the owners and they recommended good Italian restaurant down the block. I loved that the hotel has an older style feel - tray ceiling - crown molding . Very nice ! Thank you!!

Reviewed By Bob BSecond time we've stayed at the Motel 6 in Santa Nella. This is the one on I 5. Nice upgrades to the room. Wood floors and a very nice updated bathroom with a walk in shower. Room also had a small refrigerator. A small microwave would have been nice. Friendly staff and a nice location with easy access to gas and food next door.

Reviewed By civilsisterManny answered when I called after our arrival time and I told him we couldn’t drive in the dark and he said he would cancel and not charge us and said it’s Christmas I won’t charge you. All I can say to that is, I wish more people were kind and compassionate like Manny. And if we are back in Merced again, I am going to stop and stay there and thank him personally, what awesome customer service, and as a Platinum Choice Privileges Member, I’m letting them know also. Thank you Manny, on a fixed income at Christmas this was a big help!!!

Reviewed By GeminiStrike196Thought this would be an easy stay before kids' SAT test, but turned out a nightmare: the place is super noisy, being next to the highway, and exit/on ramp, and seems to be very close to a train track, we were constantly woke up by car, train in the middle of the night, not a good experience at all. The kid forgot to bring his toothbrush, in room there was a sign saying that if you missed any toiletry, the front desk would have you covered, so went to front desk, only to find that they have no toothbrush. In the morning, even though the stated checkout time was 12pm, the housekeeping came to knock on the door around 9:30am, we told her to come back later, and put the do not disturb sign on, but she came back to knock 15 min later. On the plus side, the breakfast has decent selection, the hostess was very warm and helpful

Still A Very Good Value
Reviewed By PortegeeThis was our second stay here (the first was in 2017). We had a family urgency that required several days in town, and I wanted to stay here again. The rooms are very, very clean, and the microwave and refrigerator were in good condition. We brought our own travel coffee-maker, so we did not use theirs. The tub was very clean, and I enjoyed my soaks in hot baths. Their towels are a low point but we picked up a bath sheet a Walmart down the road. It is on a main artery through town, and very close to shopping and restaurants. The couple who operates this establishment are ultra-nice people, and I remembered that from the first time we stayed there. This place lodges migrant workers but that didn't bother us. The people above us were sometimes noisy late at night but were often too exhausted to really care. If you want basic and clean, give this place a try.
