Reviewed By 65deeDirty.. creeky stained floors. Chicken bones spread all through the hallway for the 20 hours we Were there they were never picked up or disposed of. Definitely some sketchy drug use/prostitution going on in there. Side door opened all night with a rock definitely didn’t feel comfortable or safe being there. Not worth 150$ a night and won’t be back. PS absolutely no room to swim in the pool and dangerous for little ones as the pool is literally only big enough to come down the slide.. also hit the bottom every time we did use the slide. 1 star is very accurate

Reviewed By annejanembGreat hotel for families the kids. It has a wonderful hot and cold breakfast. The guest rooms have a microwave and fridge and the staff is friendly and helpful. There was also free parking and the hotel is conveniently located.

Good with not many choices
Reviewed By JPM0713Based on the rate, was not expecting a high end property; it was good and with not many options in the area worked for us. At check in I was asked to settle the bill, not sure why but in leaving saw no one is at the front desk after 9:00 PM and before 3:00 PM. The property is pretty old, clean, as with most hotels, short on electric outlets and they are in the “wrong” place. I need one bedside for a medical device and no luck. The bath was old but as clean as it could be but toilet wobbled, and not a little. Unfortunately with no one in the office for check out, no one to report that to. Breakfast is a Keurig coffee machine and powdered creamer.

There are a few smoking and lots of non-smoking rooms. Each room has an AM/FM alarm clock, television, cable and wireless internet. Hairdryers, irons and ironing boards are available upon request. There is an ATM machine in Julia's Lounge . Laundry facility on site (coin operated). Ice is available at the front desk. There are 6 VLT machines available in Julia's Lounge. There are some kitchenettes available and some rooms have a pull-out couch. We offer weekly and monthly rates. Julia's Lounge is a great friendly place to come and relax. Julia's Lounge is open 7 days a week. It is air-conditioned and has an outside patio. There is live local entertainment.
Worst Case Scenario
Reviewed By lyndat656Stayed for two nights while in the area on business. Absolutely no security or anyone around during the night therefore allowing for prostitution and insane traffic to that room all night long with the pimps showing up at 3:00am and playing loud music and shouting and carrying on all night long. I have never seen such a lapse in security but I guess the price indicates a quick in and out and no one cares. Police should be watching this place closely. Never again will I scrimp to save a few bucks. Definitely a seedy hotel.

Reviewed By AlmaDB1Room was musty smelling and not clean even though we were told they just finished cleaning just before we got there. Plus they do not control quiet time for motel, so guest can't sleep because of parties that go on till 1 or longer. Coffee machine with coffee & tea & sugar but no cups or creamers. Will not recommend to anyone needing a quiet place to go for a visit.

Orchard Queen Motel & RV Park Is located inside the town limits of Middleton in the heart of the Annapolis Valley. The Canada Select 3 Star rated Motel has 8 air conditioned units (2 kitchenettes). All units are non-smoking / no pets. All units have mini fridge,coffee makers, and NEW QUEEN SIZE BEDS!The RV Park consists of 64 sites: 50 seasonal sites and 10 pull-through sites. All RV sites have Town Sewer/Water/30 amp and are dog friendly. Orchard Queen is within walking distance to all the town's conveniences. There are also 3 golf courses located within 10-15 minutes of the RV Park.
Visit to Middleton Ended With a Costly Repair to Our RV
Reviewed By stevenmZ6649EUWe booked a stay at this campground while visiting family in the Middleton area. It is easy to find and a convenient place to stay with pull through sites for travelling RVers. Travellers to this campground should travel very slowly as there are numerous potholes in the campground roads and watch out for the low hanging overhead wires. This campground is not a great choice for long and tall RVs. When we were leaving this campground after our stay, we hooked our tv antenna on low hanging overhead wires breaking it off. When we contacted the campground owner about paying for the repair, they quoted their terms and conditions stating they were not responsible for damage and suggested we put a claim through our insurance. These overhead wires are not at a height that would allow tall height RVs to pass under them without coming into contact with them and possibly damaging your RV. Immediately after our incident, a campground representative indicated that they were advised that overhead wires needed to be raised the previous year but did not make the necessary repair. In summary, a stay with an unexpected, costly repair to our brand new RV with no compensation nor apology provided by the campground owner.

Reviewed By peterdF9156DMI was scheduled for early morning day surgery at the hospital across the road. Decided to stay here the night before to simplify travel. Great rates, pleasant staff and easy check-in/check-out. Enjoyed the included breakfast. Rooms are small but have everything you need. Very comfortable bed, Looks like the bathrooms have been recently updated. TV\Cable worked well. Quiet location. Room was very clean which is greatly appreciated. My wife & I would both recommend this motel.

Excellent Customer Service, Great Rooms
Reviewed By Kevin SRecently visited for my wife's work trip for 8 days and have to say we were more than happy with our stay here. This motel appears to cater mostly to temporary workers who stay for a few days to a week at a time so very convenient if that's what you need. A few things that stood out to us: - VERY clean rooms. If there was anything that you needed cleaned, you could call them to get service the next day and they would do a little more than required every time. They even will check in with you from time to time and ask if you need service. - Continental breakfast was more than we expected. Muffins, cereals, hard boiled eggs, bagels, waffles, mini cinnamon buns, fruit, hot coffee/water for tea, you name it they had it. You could sit in their dining area or take a tray back to your room no hassle. - All friendly staff. Front desk is courteous, conversational and helpful. Cleaning staff also friendly, I had a conversation with a cleaner outside our room while I was loading the car and had a "get to you know" chat while they did our garbage. - Location. Close to the major highway (103), gas station/drug store across the street, and a Wal-Mart plaza a couple minutes away. If that's not enough, it's a 5 minute drive into grocery stores or into "downtown" Truro. - COMFY beds. We went to Halifax for a few days after this trip and have to say the beds did not compare. The family suite with 2 king beds was amazing, the beds were huge and such nice pillows! The bedroom was definitely comfortable and spacious for our luggage and a pack n play for our baby. - Family suites come with enough to get you by. Hot plate for heating, a water boiler, frying pan, utensils and tools for cooking, glasses, plates etc. Counter space is a bit tight for prepping meals though.
