Wonderful location
Reviewed By HertaGeorgiana2015Wonderful location, very relaxing and quiet atmosphere, very kind administrators and eager to help you at any time, clean rooms, clean pool, super good breakfast (congratulations to Mrs. Maria) and diversified, the rules of hygiene and distance are observed. I would come back anytime, I highly recommend. Congratulations on everything!

Nice hotel
Reviewed By Misumikee77The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, the room was great, bed/mattress was comfortable. There is a restaurant downstairs that gives you 10% discount - I had breakfast which was very good. The hotel is located a few meters from the beach, but their beach (Amphora beach) is about 100 meters away, where you get free beach lounge chairs. There's no fridge in the room, but there's a common fridge at the reception. Also, there is no tv in the room. We will definitely come back here again and I do recommend this hotel!

Reviewed By Happiness00540885901First time staying here and I was so pleased about the cleanliness! The place smells very nice even on the hallways. It felt like home. Helen is very friendly and helpful. I love a crisp white sheet on the bed and Helen provides this. I find the price fair for what it offers. The garden is super cute and the dog is adorable.

Nice, but expensive.
Reviewed By Violeta SClean and beautifully decorated apartment. The garden is very beautiful. A minus is the fact that no one has checked if there is any toilet paper in the bathroom even though it was cleaned daily. The hotel is located very close to the sea, but it is quite expensive.

Reviewed By Derk112We stayed with our camper last night. All facilities for a camper and cheap! Friendly owner and staff. Simple built toilets and showers but clean and hot water enough. Well equipped kitcen area. 9 kg washing machine..And a nice bar! Cheap! There are even rooms and little cottages for staying a night. Because it was the last night before season closing he didn't charge us! Nice!!

The Old Border is a boutique hotel with marine theme, with 16 double rooms(8 rooms on the ground floor and 8 sea view rooms on the 1st floor), each with a matrimonial bed of 1.60×2.00m, private bathroom, AC, cable TV, refrigerator, wardrobe, WiFi. For families with children we can put an extra bed in the room. We have a equipped summer kitchen and terrace for preparing and serving meals on your own and a playground for children. In the morning we offer complimentary coffee, tea and fruit. The terrace has facilities for work outside the office. Free parking in front of the location (subject to availability). We can offer you a baby cot and The Old Border is located at the exit of Vama Veche, on the sea side, a 3-minute walk from the beach. From the European road E87 turn left just ahead of the exit sign from Vama Veche to Bulgaria, then the first street to the right and in 100 m on the right side you will find us! As a preventive measure Covid-19 we allow access to the location only of persons staying at The Old Border.

Reviewed By Curious25224454418Hello, I have been to many places in Romania and all over the world, but I haven’t found hosts with such low human behavior and such paranoia. The only “manelist” behavior is only the administrator’s and his wife, but it seems that he is so insensitive that he thinks that everyone is rude and finds reason to quarrel over anything. From my point of view, such hosts should not exist in the hotel industry, they are a shame for this branch! Ugly! Very ugly! And if you are not convinced that it is true, please read the host's answers to find out its quality. Host quality - 0 (zero).

Reviewed By MolmedogPara el tipo de alojamiento que es, nos pareció caro. Estaba limpio,pero el baño olía fatal. La ducha sin ni siquiera una cortina para que no se saliese el agua. La cama y la almohada incómoda. Sin aire ni ventilador, pasamos calor y las sábanas no ayudaban rugosas y daban calor.

Reviewed By 363monicatThis is a very nice and cozy place to spend a few nights at the seaside. You won't find luxuries here, but this is not what you're here for. The rooms were airy and bright, the bathrooms were better than expected and there is a nice yard and common area with an outside kitchenette, that really have a lot of charm. That and the fact that the owner/administrator was very kind and helpful, made our stay very pleasant. Could probably do with a bit more sound deadening though, since it's really easy to hear someone in the yard, from inside the room, with everything closed. On the flip side, it doesn't have AC and one of the rooms we booked did not have a mosquito net at one of the windows and it was tricky staying there.
