Avoid this place - it’s a hassle
Reviewed By F4064HVbenhIts a nice apartment but not worth the stay here with all the crazy rules. You can’t use certain facilities such as the gym unless you have a “long stay”, whatever that means. They charged me a late checkout fee when I was simply waiting for a callback to see if I could use that gym. The blonde woman at the front desk was quite rude and impatient with me. In addition, getting into the building is such a hassle with constant having to confirm information. Its too strict and uncomfortable. Lastly, the beach in front was the ugliest of the city - brown and full of algae. I wouldn’t come back here.

Nice place, good a/c, wonderful service
Reviewed By Terry VI'd actually call this a hotel, not a specialty inn, but in any case, we'd definitely return here. Wonderful people. I was particularly thankful for the young girl who jumped in her motorbike to lead us to the only florist in town! Then when it looked like the florist was closed she insisted on finding the owner! Breakfast included, but nothing to write home about...

Clean, comfortable, basic accomodations in old farmhouse setting.
Reviewed By Paul SThis pousada is basic accomodations, yet charming, and they've decorated it in the style of an old farmhouse, and the small staff is very helpful. One cannot compare it to a large city hotel or pousada, as Monteiro is a quiet, small town, the type in which you feel safe walking around day or night.
