Great Drive in Ontario fishing Destination!
Reviewed By dougpdallasI have been coming here with my kids for the 5th time this June. Alan and Audrey are always great hosts and the fishing is excellent for Small mouth, Pike, and Musky. I would recommend this as an excellent Canadian Drive in location. Looking forward to the next round soon.

Featuring a main base lodge that hosts our dining room, small lounge, gift and tackle shop. Accommodations include a variety of cabins/units designed for your maximum comfort; tastefully decorated, with carpeting & finished with tongue-&-groove cedar and pine. Double beds are in all units with quality Simmons mattresses. We also feature moulded full piece tub/shower units.

Reviewed By Ian WWe were able to stay here for one night during a quick trip to Sioux Lookout. The people that hired me put us up in one of the lakeside cabins. It was awesome! Beautifully finished in knotty pine, very clean and spacious. Also had the opportunity to dine on the patio. The waitresses were great, and the food was delicious. The "pickerel shore lunch" can't be beat! A large portion of pickerel, perfectly cooked....I wanted to hug the chef! (Covid ruled that out, haha) I want to go back to Anderson's !!!

Reviewed By MurphySEEWe just stayed the weekend in one of the cabins overlooking the lake. After a day on the water fishing and exploring the Souix Lookout area we came back to a spacious cabin with full kitchen and bath. Soft comfortable beds and fun and amazing staff that do what they can to make your stay top notch. We will be back when we can. Much more to explore and experience at Moosehorn Lodge.

Great Experience, and Great Staff
Reviewed By sarahEPatI would like to thank Shane and the staff for making our stay at camp Uchi Lake Lodge one of the most memorable hunting trips we have been on! I can't thank Shane enough for all his help and hard work that he put into us finally getting a Bull on the last day of our hunt. We had very hot weather so the moose were not moving at all, Shane did everything he could to help us every step of the way. This included taking us to different areas and picking us up at the end of day, punching through some very rough terrain and constantly calling. On the last day he called a bull out and we were lucky enough to get the shot. He Helped quarter it and get it back to the lodge which was such a great help! The fishing was second to none. If we wanted walleye for dinner we just threw a line with a jig on it and in 10 minutes we had 2 or 3 for dinner. The lodge was clean and we'll maintained, the cabins and very comfortable. Boats and motors were on great condition and honestly we were not disappointed with one thing at all, everything was well beyond our hopes. We had a great time and looking forward to next fall. Reviewed By Travelling_6_GypsiesUpon arrival we were greeted by Andrea and Mike the owners, extremely friendly and ready to answer all of our questions. Andrea quickly pointed out our house boat and lead us down for an in depth review of how everything worked. The houseboat was immaculately clean and well laid out. Once all the details were sorted out ( which went very quickly) we departed for a five day trip. We chose to navigate the houseboat ourselves however they do offer guide services to take you up on the lake, but we figured what the hell we can do this......and we did! We did utilize Navionics on our phone to assist with navigation and I highly suggest to have something like Navionics rather than solely relying on maps. We travelled about 6 hours up the lake staying in secluded bays each night. The scenery is breathtaking and the fishing was awesome. Upon our return back we radioed LSFL of our approx. return time and as we approached they were ready to take over and dock us. The return process went as smoothly as our initial walk thru and we said our goodbyes, but not before booking for next year. We can not say enough great things about LSFL, the six of us had an amazing trip and we can’t wait to come back next year! See you soon Andrea and Mike. Owners, very nice easy to talk with and friendly 2. Cabins, clean, modern and comfortable (even cable tv and free Wi-Fi) 3. Grounds of Lodge: well maintained, great location and view of lake outstanding 4. Dock area: stable, looks new, easy to use (can load boat into lake at resort) 5. Fish house: clean with needed accessories if needed provided. Have minnows at resort. 6. Location: close to town to run and get supplies, great location to be home base to to go to other lakes 7. Lake/weather: We hit it at a good time, spent 4 days no rain and warm Fishing a little slow in Minnitaki however up to Lac Suel fishing was great 8. Payment: Cash or check. This is the only negative. Wish they would accept credit cards as payment. Most people do not carry cash. Most americans if told upfront of a service charge for using credit it is not a problem. Highly recommend if coming to this area check out this resort. I will be back
