Great owners, great location
Reviewed By ChicagoViaLondonMarlen and Marco were there to greet us and welcome us with a cold drink and some good food. The room was great, with a balcony looking out to sea. Unfotunately, they only had a room available for one night as we came here over New Year, which is the busiest time of the year and the start of the school holidays. We were unaware of that heading up to Mancora, and found out the hard way that most most of Lima heads up there for New Year's Eve. After spending one night at Blue Ocean we had to leave and find other acommodation as they were already fully booked. This didn't work out too well for us, and on our third day in Mancora, we were ready to head south in search of another town and hotel. Marlen and Marco then offered to make us up a room in the staff area. The transformation from store room to bedroom was amazing, and we ended up staying for an additional 4 nights. The food was great, the beer was cold, the company was exceptional. And because of this, we stayed for longer than anticipated. The sunset from the roof terrace is the perfect way to start your evening, and a beer and cerviche is the perfect way to end the day. Cheers to you both. An unforgettable trip.

Small familiar housing located to few meters of the beach. It has five rooms, between couple room, three beds and four beds, all with water, TV with cable and DVD, fun, terrace and hammock. It offers delicious breakfasts with fruits and cereals. Wi-Fi's service in all the facilities, Service of change of money, guardaequipaje, parking and movements to the airport.
Quiet clean and friendly
Reviewed By Aaron HWe booked 3 nights here and ended up spending 10! Jesse and Teresa are very helpful and friendly. They had breakfast for us every day, did our laundry and cleaned our room on a regular basis. There is no hot water, but after a day on the beach, a cool shower is nice. The outdoor shower can be a bit warmer with better water flow than the one in the room. We were here over a National holiday and I think it was one of the quietest places in Mancora. A short walk to town or the beach or a 2 sole motto ride will get you anywhere you need. I would stay here again with my family.

Smells sooo good after cleaning ? Easy get to the beach and everything (5-10 min walking). Lovely stuff and cats and delicious breakfast ??

Lovely chilled hostel close to beach
Reviewed By beachbabeashleighI stayed here 7 years ago when it was just camping and parties, now it has formed into a lovely chilled hostel with a pool, amazing sushi, K has now 8+years experience with sushi. They have other things on the menu too, as well as awesome combo deals for juices and breakfast type bites. They have lots of friendly pets (cats dogs and a turtle) roaming around the place. A gym to use. Yoga Classes available. Pool table and ping pong. Chilled and decent music playing calmly in the day and the bar is open until midnight. They have free salsa classes on wed and saturdays as well as all u can eat sushi on these days for 50 sols. I highly recommend this hostel to meet cool people. Its more calm than the party hostels. Wild rover is across the road if you do wish to go and party.

Reviewed By Claire LWe spent 3 days and nights when we arrived in Peru. During our stay, someone in the hotel had stolen our two credit cards in our room. There is NO security from the entry door to the room. All windows cannot be closed, everyone can enter in your room and none camera. We do NOT recommand this hotel.

Reviewed By Companion794541Spotless, minimalist, and quiet. We were totally happy with the place. Away from the noise of town, but only a 5 minute walk from the beach, restaurants, and nightlife. The man running it was friendly and helpful, but not in our space at all. I would stay again definitely.

Reviewed By lexas40This hostel is about 15 minutes from the beach in Mancora. It is just your basic lodging with small rooms and very small bathroom. No hot water. No A/C. The the kitchen is adaquate, The location is "across the river" from the main road. If this El Nino happens I think you might get wet crossing the river. Victor, the owner also ownes a bar on the beach. He and his lady Paula drove us around in their car ans showed us the town. They were very good hosts. If you stay there ask them to take you to the hot springs, about a 30 minute drive from the hostel.

Reviewed By felix_189918Julio and his brother are really kindly. It was a perfect stay and worth for the money at all. Breakfast was fresh and you get protection against Moskitos every day. I would definitely come back to this place again. Moreover it’s safe because Julio takes care really well and the lovely dogs protect the property. I was staying with a friend and it’s no problem to celebrate in Loki hostel and coming back to the room whenever you want to ... Florian and Felix
