Perhaps one of the last pristine refuges left in Thailand
Reviewed By marikag697Everything you’ve read is true. This island is peaceful and quiet. It also happens to be gorgeous, vibrant, teaming with life and, for myself, a wonderful place to recover and recharge. Waan is warm and kind. She organized excursions for us (the emerald cave is honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen!), made sure we had everything we needed and kept our bellies full with delicious Thai food. Her son is a cutie pie. ? The bungalows themselves are kept VERY clean. They are only a 5 minute walk from Charlie beach- which itself is sublime. The water clear and warm. The only rub is that garbage collection only comes to the island 3 times monthly. However, that said, when they do collect, it restores the beach to its well deserved glory. I was here after 911 and it honestly hasn’t changed that much. I hope you enjoy yourselves here!

Amazing stay
Reviewed By neel sTho the island can be a bit dirty in some parts and the mopeds on the road too much BUT staying here was like our own paradise. Very relaxing and very friendly. Fa and her family are amazing and take good care of you and mom's cooking is the best - my fav was green curry and dumplings in coconut cream. The hut is nice and spacious with sliding glass door and a decking area with chairs to sit on. Toiletries are provided and loads of shops just walking distance (5-10 mins). The huts are sea facing but this part of the beach is not great to swim on as it can be a bit dirty and tide gets very low but other nice beach is just 10-12 mins walk away. Fa organised a private long tail boat trip for us around the island and emerald cave, which was reasonable and very enjoyable :) the accomodation is about 10 mins walk from the pier along the beach but if you have heavy luggage or are physically chalkenged then get a tuk tuk from the pier. Nurse house consists of 6 huts - 5 in the garden area and number 6 right on the water ( so if you want that one then you need to email FA as soon as you book). You will definitely enjoy your stay here as we did and we highly recommend it :)

Reviewed By SieMaticFirst of all: My girlfriend and me have been there in november 2019 (Trip advisor just doesn’t let me set the date so long in the past). This is the optimal place to go if you want to experience Koh Muk and just don’t want to stay all the time at one place. It is located very close to the pier and by walking you reach the beach and a lot of restaurants. And here ist the thing that sets this stay apart from all the others: The owner! He drove us anywhere and picked us also up anywhere. We just had to call him in time. He gave us special offer prices to visit the emerald cave (highly recommended), to rent a canoe or to get a boat tour to the surrounding isles. To make it short: He was always there with a helping hand, gave us a lot of tips and on top of that he was super kind and gave all his heart to make this the best stay we could ever have at Koh Muk. To be fair, there are also needs you won’t get fulfilled here. The rooms are not the most fancy but they serve their purpose. And also the toilets and showers are located central on his property and are used by all guests. If you can give up a small amount of comfort for an adventurous stay, a person who really cares about what you want to experience and all the other pros I mentioned above this is the ideal stay for you! My girlfriend and me we loved it so much there and I kind of felt obligated to the owner to write this review even more than two years after we left (yes, this is how memorable the time there was).

Temevamo grandi cambi e trasformazioni e, sebbene ci siano stati, l'isola di Kooh Mook mantiene ancora la sua bellezza ed atmosfera originaria. La spiaggia più bella continua ad essere quella ad ovest, conosciuta un tempo come Charlie Beach ed ora come Had Farang. In questa zona, lungo la strada che da est porta alla spiaggia del lato ovest, sono sorti numerosi resort. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di scegliere ed alloggiare al MOUNTAIN VIEW RESORT. Sono solo 5 bungalow, 3 deluxe e 2 normali, e noi abbiamo alloggiato nel deluxe. Il bungalow, costruito in mezzo al bosco leggermente in collina a soli 5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia è fresco e garantisce piacevoli dormite la notte! Molto curato nella scelta dei materiali (legno e bamboo) è dotato di frigo e bollitore. Una magnifica terrazza, con 2 canapè circolari, vi permette di rilassarvi o leggere in tranquillità. La camera viene pulita ogni giorno e vengono lasciate anche due bottigliette d'acqua di cortesia. La doccia è comoda e con acqua calda. Insomma una scelta perfetta e la Thailandia, come vorreste sempre trovare...

Cute apartments
Reviewed By Jonna JOur bungalow was cute (pink, like a Barbie-house!) and clean. Many people here have complained about the lack of flush in toilet, but you get used to it (they still have a bucket full of water and a cup for flushing the toilet). On little island this price vs. quality is ok, but on mainland I would be waiting AC and a flushing toilet for that price. Breakfast was ok, we tried pancakes and youghourt with fruits. Staff was nice, they have a little son who makes sure you have fun watching him fooling around :D

Reviewed By TookablueorchidUn bungalow basilare, e quando dico basilare è basilare. Letto bagno frigorifero. Stop. Non mi aspettavo l'hotel a 5 stelle per carità, avevamo già letto dalle recensioni che non ci fossero molte cose, ma almeno i capelli dal lavandino toglili, ti chiedo un phon (e l'ho fatto perché ho visto che lo fava alle ragazze del bungalow accanto) e il proprietario scompare. Niente kit di cortesia ma è possibile compare tutto al negozio a pochi passi.
