This is really affordable with clean rooms and clean washrooms with all the basic amenities. It has a cafe at it's rooftop which has a fun vibe to it. The staff is very cooperative. Overall my experience here was great!!

Wow what a wonderful place to while away the hours, best terrace view in Agra
Reviewed By SunnywinWow, the view from this terrace is amazing. Their chai is delicious and their hosptiality is so welcoming and friendly. I spent a truly memorable evening here, with the view of the Taj accentuated by children flying their kites from the rooftops infront of us, strings occassionally getting a bit close for comfort, led to friendly exchanges between boys and staff, helping you to feel a temporary part of their community. As afternoon turned into evening we all watched the Taj disappearing from view, apparently spotlights started turning the marble yellow so now one solitary light glows dimly from the tomb, watching this magnificant white edifice disappearing into the black night was one of those captivating sights you will never forget. On full moon nights it glows but I won't be around to see that. The food I had was very reasonably priced, especially considering the view but it was the service, that made the place, never once did I feel rushed, I was made to feel truly welcome and conversations between guests and staff flowed naturally all evening. A visit here is money very well spent.

Reviewed By Raj Nandan SThe facilities are old but well maintained. There is cleanliness and the owners are very hospitable. They serve the customer with great eagerness. The owner can make a meal that is deliciously cooked and safe. The same and breakfast. We asked for and provided us with a guided car. It is advisable however to change this guide. During our stay we had the impression we were staying with a friend.

Let down on Trust Disappointing

But was really unhappy with kind of service provided except for food (which I really thank the ladies in family to make it special) The place is outside city, in village outside of the homestay the village atmosphere is really raw and not clean which is fine for experiencing but if don’t have your own car you need to depend on transport to be arranged by host then please be ready to pay the amount demanded by the driver without any logic. For less than 4 km we were been charged Rs 600 which is higher than a cab charge but in a rickshaw upon asking the explanation was because there is no other service provider. Most disappointing part of the trip was the host Mr Dhiraj suggested and insisted that since we have more days in Agra to go and visit Mathura once and that he can arrange the transport. And advise the driver would charge Rs 2400 for return trip with 10hours. We thought it was good idea and we trusted that our host will do all coordination and make the trip pleasant. So we got ready and as per his suggested time @ 8.30-9am so we planned started our journey, our host had some personal work around Mathura so he also came with us which is fine. Our host got off at one point and left us with driver to continue our journey. BUT when we reached the Mathura at around 12.30 we got to know all places are closed by then and will only reopen at 4pm. In our conversation with cab driver he mentioned that this is common in Mathura and been going on for years that the temples/ places of interest are closed during afternoon for few hours. So, we couldn’t see anything there, So we asked driver if he could return back to Agra so we can do more productive use of time but he didn’t hear to us and called the host and then was simply kept us driving around market of Mathura without any reason upon insisting again he turned the car, we had told we need to pick up special delicacy sweet from Mathura again driver ignored and kept going and took the flyover. Then we headed back to pick up Dhiraj and returned. When we asked our host why he didn’t mention about the opening hour he simply said he wasn’t aware of same (Even though he is in hospitality business and place of interest at Mathura hours as same for years). FRUSTRATING He made just to pay full cab charge not even a little apology or anything. Plus when I asked him the share for his ride he simply ignored. We wasted our TIME, MONEY and ENERGY. One of the worst experience we ever had in any homestay across any place I have lived so far.

The Homestay is located in a very peaceful and quiet area. The homestay is clean and eco-friendly. It's in a very safe and tourist friendly area. TajMahal is only 25 minutes walk from the HomeStay (2.5 KM). The home stay offers bed and breakfast. There are 3 well appointed bedrooms with attached bathrooms. A homely environment is offered and expected.
Host is the best part of the stay
Reviewed By jaygR9305YII highly recommend staying at Tree of Happiness. The host is gracious and the room was clean and we had access to a fridge and kettle. The Taj Mahal is about 15 min driving. As an added bonus, we were also able to attend the neighbor's wedding that was happening during our stay.

Centrally located this house can accommodate 12 guests at a time, and we booked all the 4 rooms, Just 10 mins from Taj and Agra Fort. The rooms were spacious, great breakfast for all of us. neat and clean rooms and bathrooms, big patio ..though it's within the residential colony not much open space in front of you. But it's a quiet neighbourhood. Thanks for helping us with the groceries which you got for us in no time. In a nutshell, we enjoyed our one night stay at your place. Thanks once again, look forward to another visit another time...till then all the best. To my fellow traveller if you are planning for Agra Visit , then do consider this homestay.

Route to hotel was bad
Reviewed By kusumanand65Reached the hotel using google maps, and maps showed a very bad route. Actually the hotel was just behind petrol pump. Hotel was good and staff was cooperative. Breakfast was very good and was quite heavy. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious.
