Tired needs a revamp
Reviewed By carolga56This was always our centre of choice for our conference but this time it was not great. The hotel needs a serious revamp. Tiles are cracked, paint peeling and there were insufficient towels. At best we had a hand towel to use and that was all. The restaurant was expensive but had a great variety . The saving feature was the friendly staff

Lacks something but good
Reviewed By Albert GRelatively new hotel. Big rooms and although enough space the room layout does not allow for much space on the left hand side of the bed. Although there is space there is a comfortable chair or sofa missing. A nice lamp would have made room more attractive. Seems that hotel is not yet in swing of efficency. I asked upfront for a fridge to be put in my room. Although not standard outfit the request was kindly honoured.

Lovely stay in Umhlanga
Reviewed By SkiBunny25A return visit to Capital Pearls. The location is perfect and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Nozipho N was brilliant. We didn’t try the restaurant as there are so many to choose from nearby. The pool area is great. I would definitely recommend.

Your base near the beach and KSIA. We’re off N2, less than a mile from Gateway Theatre of Shopping and Umhlanga Beach. Durban is a 20-minute drive, home to Moses Mabhida Stadium, Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium, and Durban ICC. King Shaka International Airport is 20 kilometres from our door. Enjoy dining at our restaurant, the outdoor pool, and the fitness center. WiFi’s on us.

Reviewed By shabzl2021We r hilton Diamond member and sitting with over 5million worth of Hilton honor points . We come stay at the hotel literally every 2/3 week as we live out of town . Worst service especially from front office lady pumi. Rude and unhelpful . I begged her to give me breakfast in the room The specific time as my little one is not feeling well and have brought her down for treatment we are not sure if she has Covid as she is not feeling well since last night and is asleep . Phumie refuses to bring something to eat as we have breakfast included . She point blank refused and said come down and leave the baby there in the room to sleep BecUase we r too Busy . I Then I asked her if she could bring breakfast for us in the room after breakfast as in the downstairs and she also refused. They take diamond states is very likely and don’t really care about the loyal guests . I am going to take this up with Hilton honors . We have stayed on over the world at different Hiltons and Conrads but never has the service been as bad as this and always trying to assist especially when you’re traveling with a baby.

Comfortable stay
Reviewed By dgriny799857Very nice room overlooking the swimming pool with a very comfortable bed. The shower could do with improvement. The bedside lamp did not work and there was nowhere to charge a cellphone or plug in the hairdryer. This was sorted out but should have been attended to before we arrived. There are very steep stairs down to the property from street level which could be a problem for some people.

Dont expect a good nights rest
Reviewed By Blake BI stayed over at this hotel and the hotel allowed guests to party in their bedrooms till 4 am. Covid protocols was not followed and curfew was ignored by the hotel and guests. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking to sleep through the night.

Reviewed By Carol HI had prepaid accommodation but had to cancel a week later. Maison H was absolutely fantastic and refunded my full amount. Amazing service. Very helpful. Willing to change rooms as we needed a twin room. No problems.
