Reviewed By erikjson80Booked a room based on good reviews and a nice picture of a room. What I got was a room in the older part of the hotel where everything is made of old yellow tinted plastic. Not the nice new part of the hotel where the picture was presumably taken. The water lock in the sink had dried out presumably since no one had lived in the room for a long time. So when I arrived to my room is smelled like sewage. The sewage smell eventually subsided but was replaced by something else more subtle but still not pleasant. A plus was that the bed was clean and the parking was included.

Welcome to a small boutique hotel in central Uddevalla, with pleasant and newly renovated rooms at reasonable prices. 200m to the Central Station. Only breakfast restaurant. Uddevalla Fort, with remains from the 17th Century and a sweeping view of Uddevalla and the fjord, is located just round the corner. Book by telephone or mail.

Lena and Mark are the most gracious hosts and definitely go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. The details of this hotel are exquisite, everything from hand painted artwork to hand lettering on every detail down to the toiletries in the restroom. The decorations of the venue are spot on and you feel as if you are inside a home decorating magazine. This is the life‘s work of this couple and they have our highest recommendation. We are touring musicians based out of Austin Texas and we will for sure be staying here next time we return to Uddevalla

A hotel showing its age and lacking customer focus
Reviewed By TernblomOutdated rooms wheys heavily on the score and would have given 3/5 otherwise. More on that at the end. Check in was ok, hotel parking not available so had to park at a nearby public spot. Breakfast average with only most basic dishes and beverages available. Breakfast room rather dirty and staff seemed to focus other tasks than keeping dining area tidy. In general, staff seemed to have focus on colleagues and not guest. Experienced this both in the pub at night and during breakfast. In the pub, I was left waiting 3-4 minutes at the counter, while hearing a racket going on in the back room. Tried to holler but without result. Eventually the receptionist took care of me and later the two gentlemen from the back room showed up. The whole experience showed lack of understanding customer focus and I would say lacked basic professionalism. The room is a story of its own. Got allocated a room on the second floor that upon netting reeks of stuffy air and mould. The whole atmosphere was of a room hardly done up since the 70’ and the bathroom really not up to standards. Lot’s of mould between tiles in the shower, clingy shower curtain (haven’t experienced that in a while) and generally a shabby and dusty appearance. Cannot recommend this hotel to anyone and there should be better options nearby.

Charming hotel suitable for adults in the centre of Uddevalla. All rooms are individually decorated and have private showers/wc and comfortable beds from our own bed collection.
Just for one night
Reviewed By loriiferrariThis little hotel is located near the city center. I don’t recommend to visit Uddevalla, because there is nothing. Over all, the hotel is nice and the staff is really cozy and friendly. The hotel has also a sauna that you can use freely. Breakfast is poor, there is a little choice but for just one day is ok.

Lots of activities, full service restaurants and shops. Beautifully situated close to the sea in the middle of the province Bohuslan between Goteborg and the Norwegian boarder.

Reviewed By pavakealThis is not a hotel but a few rooms in an office block that does not deserve to be included In Uddevalla hotels. The rooms are basic and the bathrooms appalling. Shower cubicles that are broken but more importantly seriously covered in mould on the walls and around the base of the cubicles. The showers in the three rooms that we had were all the same and superficial cleaning is all that takes place. Towels were replaced each day but were so thin that they did not dry correctly. Breakfast area was two small rooms with a buffet which was acceptable although when three or more persons attempted to serve themselves, it became overcrowded. Check out was a joke and we were unable to obtain an invoice which was emailed later. Definitely not to be recommended even for one night .

Reviewed By mimmi444Bodde här 2 nätter. Rummet är nytt, ganska litet men fint. Fint nytt modernt badrum, också litet men helt ok. Allt rent och fräscht. Tv på rummet. God frukost, caféet var stängt när vi var där tyvärr. Värdparet trevliga och hjälpsamma. Gott om parkering. Det ligger nära en sjö med badplats, tyst och lugnt, och fin utsikt över sjön. En bit till närmaste affär/restaurang.
