Amazing three days
Reviewed By Q1ckSh0tI was there three days and im really impressed. Food was great, they had huge selection as well. I can eat only gluten and lactose free food, when i told it to waiters, they were so helpful. I got even gluten free bread and desert. Welness is awsome, warm pool outside was amazing, as was hot tub inside. My room was great as well. You have to wear a face mask except in your room, welness and of course when you are eating. Also you need to be vacctinated or you had to have covid in last 180 days and you also need a test. Overall I had great three days. I will definitly come back.

Bizarre treatment, Shame and humiliation

Management seems to be fading, poor services, but the last day with a bizarre, humiliating and shameful treatment assured that I will not be able to enter the door on this otherwise exquisitely renovated building. On the last day of our 5-night stay, we were approached by the manager in the restaurant right after breakfast. He said there’s been damage to our room and amount of 340€ will be added to our bill. I was surprised as I wasn’t aware of breaking anything, but initially open to see and requested at least an itemised bill. Right in the middle of the restaurant he had no problems stating: Madame, there are blood stains on your bedding.! …..I was speechless, this is a gorgeous 4-star facility with history and significance to the area, that I have ties to. I thought this was a particularly wrong way to raise any “irreparable damage” that had to be added to the bill. I refused to discuss this in the middle of the restaurant and went to reception to complain. Bizarreness, amateurism and awfully wrong communication escalated further as reception said that I already spoke to the manager and nobody else will attend to me. They’re not allowed to call GM (wtf??), on my insistence the Reception manager came. It was a lady and offered coffee and a sit down, however insisted that waving pics of blood stains in the middle of a restaurant is really fine…?! I requested assistance from Booking.com, and their manager called the hotel. They confirmed that this was our fourth visit and we spent all up to about 8.000 € with this place, found this way of communication to be particularly rude and proposed that this dispute is resolved in amicable manner. I went to reception to check out after this to find that the hotel couldn’t care less for amicable resolution. To my saying that staining is NOT DAMAGE unless they tried cleaning it; which they refused to try and say they throw away any blood stained bedding. I needed to see General Business Conditions, Accommodation Order or any document that would back up the amount they wanted to charge. This is all backed by Slovak legislation - frivolous charging extra items is illegal. Clearly not a single manager was aware of legislation framework, the whole treatment was amateurism and you’ d expect this from some hostel in Albania and not classy property of this sort. I requested a proper report on this incident, itemised bill and proof that there’s irreparable damage (as per law) and stated that that could have been prepared some time ago since they insist on payment and knew our check out day and time. But it is prepared - stated manager and repeatedly kept disappearing to back office for long periods of time. We were left waiting for more than an hour and a half, came out with a paper stating that 6 pillows, 2 duvets, cleaning of two carpets (that were stained on our arrival) will be paid, blank paper, no explanatory note, report proof - and “Manager” asked me to agree and pay… And this moment I was already flying off the handle with outrage and demanded that we inspect the room now. We went in and I was taking items one by one. Duvet, and 5 pillows Snow White, 1 duet had appr. 2cm stain, one pillow about 6cm stain of very pale barely visible colour. I got the apology and some two tiny boxes of chocolates. Bill was reduced to 70€; I was reduced to tears from this horrid idiotic witch hunt about a stain that clearly the cleaning lady complained about changing (and didn’t change so we slept in it). All this for nearly 300€ per night. I congratulate the hotel for the extra revenue of 70€, the bizarre, obscene, rude display of their amateurism and what seems to be malevolence and mismanagement and a loss of regular client. Our bill was more than 2,000€ each time, clearly it was worth it. Cleaning lady will certainly make up for that, maybe she will book a room for 2000, it’ll be about her 3 monthly salaries.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Tatranská Lomnica, a sport and cultural centre of the High Tatras, which lies directly at the foot of the Lomnica Peak (Lomnický štít). The surrounding area offers trails suitable for mountain cycling. In winter, nearby the hotel skiers can enjoy the highest and the steepest slope in Slovakia. You can ski 6.5 km long slope from a height of 2,196 m above sea level through the Lomnica Sag (Lomnické sedlo) to Tatranská Lomnica (850 m). The centre also offers lower-difficulty slopes. Skiers can enjoy the most modern cable cars and chair lifts. The area offers various winter activities.

Reviewed By 880janaiWe visited the hotel with little child. I consider holiday and the hotel as a very good choice for the price we paid. First- i liked a wellness a lot! In the kid’s pool and in the pool is actually quite warm water what is very nice. It’s reconstructed and looks good. Rooms are a bit outdated but clean. I found them as well big enough. The staff was nice and friendly, some waiters did not have always good mood, but nothing too seriously. They have little kids play room. The dining, bar and reception is reconstructed as well. Food- good, something was better, something not that good but still for breakfast and dinner it was enough choices and we were not hungry. Some evenings that was “music playing”. This i would skip if i can, it’s really for older generation.

Nice child- friendly hotel
Reviewed By Martina MWe stayed at this hotel in december 2019. We spent there 6 nights during New Years Eve. We were 2 families with small children in the age from 6 moths to 6 years. I can highly recommend this hotels to families with children. We were satisfied with services for children, animations, equipments … The greatest thing in this hotel except of which I mentioned already is it’s restaurant and food. I have never been in a hotel with such a huge offer of meals. The food was super delicious and it was so much to choose from. Also the New Year’s menu was excellent. So was the New Years Eve programme and animations for kids. We had such a great time there! We were using the pool as well. The staff at the hotel was very helpfull and friendly. Near the hotel there is a playground for kids just across the road where the lake is and its possible to skate there during winter. Only one thing which I didn’t like in the hotel was it’s beds. They were little bit noisy when somebody was turning around in them. I think they were little bit dated. Despite of this I had a good sleep in them. Also the fridge was dated and noisy. But those things in comparison with the hotel benefits and qualities were just minor. I will come back to this hotel again.

Nice hotel in the hearth of Tatralomnic
Reviewed By piciszuszThis place was choosen by my anut, we visited Tatralomnic in February. The staff is really kind and helpful, the lady at the recetion speaks hungarian also. We received cards from her so we could have discount in the pastry shop and restaurant next to the hotel. There are shops, restaurants, traing station within 200 meters. My husband and I had I think and older room on the second floor, the bed was really short and uncomfortable (we both are around 180 cm ) and the pillows were tiny, but everything else was okay and we could see the mountains from the window. The wifi is not the best and you have to login almost every hour. The breakfast is the usual continental one with nice staff.

A gem and a bargain
Reviewed By 257gerifThis little penzion is a hidden jewel. The owners are super friendly and take great pride in their place. The room was spacious, and included a balcony. The bed was comfier than most, and linens were crisp and clean. There was ample closet space and even a fridge. The only reason we didn’t rate “quietness” higher is because there was a large group of guys staying above us who were enjoying themselves until the wee hours. But it wasn’t the owners fault. And the construction in this part of the world tends to muffle neighborly noises so we didn’t lose a ton of sleep because of this. The only thing we would do differently is to stay longer.

Reviewed By Odyssey508549We ordered a meal and it took so so long to come and instead of fish they brought me cheese. They gave me chips and salad and I ate these then waited for ages till the fish came. They then kept us waiting forever for the bill and were horrible. Do not go there

Reviewed By Katarina_P_TThe hotel was fine, has great situation, nice breakfast. But the rooms are little old-school and the wellness was cold. I could stay only in finish sauna, because of temperature in relax area. In whirpool were hairs and was not clean.

Reviewed By Rodafra17We have chosen this resort as we needed the charger for our TESLA car and we had absolutely wonderful stay during all the stay in the Aplend Resort- Villa Beatrice. Since we’ve opened the door on entrance with very friendly and welcoming girl on the reception desk Maria, where we’ve received all the informations needed about the resort and about the town and all activities and restaurants around. We’ve received also a discout in many restaurant in the area of High Tatras with a special card from the APLEND RESORT which we’ve received also during the check in. As we said, the apartment was very nice and modern, more than we’ve expected. We had also the breakfast included which was very big and absolutely fresh which ist most important. As we are big travelers and we’ve visited a lot of countries around all the world and since many years we’re owner of the 4 and 5 stars hotels in Italy, we can only highly recommend this APLEND BEATRICE where we were absolutely happy and need to say a big thank you to all the staff to make our stay memorable.

Reviewed By AndreZ205the abnormal owner wanted to inform the police because I left the dog for an hour in the room to go with my son for a moment in the mountain ... the lady at the reception wanted us to tie the dog in the cold in front of the store ... the animals are obviously acceptable ... dust in the room, the radiator in the bathroom did not work, the payment was only cash - we have 21st century ... the bed was falling ... I do not recommend ...
