Reviewed By zinhapMy husband and I traveled by bus from Krakow to Tarnowskie Gory, and spent five nights at Hotel Opera. Our stay was just amazing! Hotel Opera is a full-service Boutique Hotel. OPERA HOTEL -- this is a fairly new Hotel with a modern lobby, high ceilings, spacious dining room and lots of space everywhere. The main stairway and hallways are wide and impressive. The rooms are much more spacious than the average hotel room in Europe, including the bathroom which was large and very well equipped. THEIR RESTAURANT --- we loved all the meals in the dining room. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of variety of dishes for all tastes. We also had lunch and dinner more than once. Overall the quality and taste of the food was above and beyond what we expected, even the presentation was, WOW! SERVICE -- the service at the reception desk, as well as in the dining room was impeccable. The staff speaks English, was extremely friendly and attentive, and will answer all your questions. The reception desk is open 24 hrs. FACILITIES -- As we walked around and explored the Hotel, we were surprised to see their large facilities with event and conference rooms. On one day there was a medical conference going on, and on the weekend we saw a wedding take place... such a great Hotel with very attractive facilities. LOCATION -- we went to Tarnowskie Gory so we could visit and explore the area as there's a lot nearby. We visited many old historic sites, too many to list. But here are a few that comprised our trip to Tarnowskie Gory: The MAIN SQUARE is less than two blocks away. It's a lovely and very lively Old Square with many shops and eateries. UNESCO site -- we visited the Tarnowskie Gory Lead-Silver-Zinc Mine and its Underground Water Management System... it was a fascinating experience!! THEATER -- we also attended a concert at the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra Theater in Katowice. This is such a modern and impressive cultural world class venue. SPORTS -- we watched a great soccer match at the Slaski Stadium -- another impressive venue for soccer and sports. All in all, our stay and experience at Hotel Opera was just amazing! Their hotel rates are unbelievably low. As very seasoned world travelers, we can say that Hotel Opera delivered beyond expectation. We highly recommend for anyone who wants to explore that region of Poland which has a lot to offer, old and modern, and also a rich history.

Reviewed By Juan Luis EClean and simple business hotel. Rooms are big enough. Breakfast is good but not with too many things. The good thing is that is located very close to an Aquapark and to an sport centre. But a car is needed.

The hotel is pretty much in the middle of nowhere but was close to a restaurant we were visiting for a party. It’s also close to the airport. So if you need to be in the vicinity, this hotel can wholeheartedly be recommended!

Reviewed By Joanna MJuż kilka razy zatrzymaliśmy się w tym motelu z rodziną (ja z mężem oraz dwoje dzieci) podczas naszej wizyty na Śląsku. Motel jest bardzo czysty. Pokoje są czyste i dość przestrzenne. Pościel i ręczniki zawsze czyściutkie. Łazienki są nowoczesne i dość duże. Śniadanie jest zawsze świeże, urozmaicone, bardzo smaczne i obfite. Obsługa motelu jest przemiła. Kierownictwo bardzo uprzejmie. Polecamy kregielnię oraz restaurację na dole. Super miejsce zwłaszcza dla rodzin z dziećmi. Lokalizacja motelu jest nie do pobicia, dojazd do wielu atrakcji w okolicy jest bardzo wygodny. Napewno podczas naszej następnej wizyty na Śląsku zatrzymamy się właśnie w tym motelu. Nic dodać nic ująć.

Reviewed By ewik-evikNie polecam. Pokoje od strony ulicy nie wyciszone więc cały zgiełk ruchliwej ulicy przez całą noc nie pozwala zasnąć. Pościel czysta i na tym pozytywy się kończą, żaluzje z widocznym kurzem od długiego czasu. Mało miejsca parkingowego. Nie polecam jedzenia.

Reviewed By 735beatazNie zatrzymujcie się w tym miejscu... brudno i nieprzyjemnie. Na szczęście spędziliśmy tam tylko jedną noc... Zdarzało mi się spać w hotelach różnego standardu a nawet motelach. Nie mam problemu jeżeli wnętrza nie są odświeżone itd. Oczekuję jednak że pokój będzie posprzątany. Tymczasem weszliśmy do śmierdzącego pokoju, z przetartymi , starymi i brudnymi meblami. Światło w łazience żółte, rodem z horroru. Prysznic tak brudny, że zrezygnowaliśmy z mycia się... Przybory toaletowe takie jak szampon i żel pod prysznic nie były dostępne... szczerze, patrząc na to wszystko zastanawiałam się czy pościel była zmieniona. Trzymajcie się jak najdalej od tego miejsca.

Hotel czysty i niezwykle cichy, wygodne łóżka. Śniadań na miejscu niestety nie jedliśmy ponieważ opłata za nie jest dodatkowa a jak na pobyt rodzinny to jednak zbyt wysoka to była cena. Jedliśmy poprostu na mieście. Podsumowując, jeżeli ktoś nie ma zbyt wysokich wymagań to jak najbardziej polecam to miejsce. Minusem jak dla mnie były mydełka w kostce zamiast buteleczek z żelem pod prysznic. Moja skóra niezbyt dobrze przyswaja zwykłe mydło. Był szampon ale w saszetkach. Znacznie łatwiej byłoby korzystać z buteleczek. Zupełny brak odżywki do włosów. Bardzo mi tego brakowało. Moim zdaniem hotel powinien zadbać o ekspres do kawy i lepszą kawę, bo owszem była dostępna ale jak dla mnie tak kwaśna, żę nie można było tego wypić. Mąż pił :) Tak czy inaczej hotel polecam ze względu na miłą obsługę, czystość, spokój i lokalizację.
