Pleasantly surprised

I travelled here for 1 night with a group of Thai friends and for the first time I was not simply ignored by the staff while travelling as foreigner with Thais, but warmly welcomed by the owners (in good English too :)). We stayed in Mayongchid bungalow. The rooms were comfortable and spacious enough and near the river. Although the restaurant closes a bit early at 20:00,the dinner was delicious. Breakfast was oke, very basic but enough choices.

Nice big room-rustic setting
Reviewed By Marshall HWe've stayed at this hotel in the past, and aside from the restaurant the only change has been the price. The rooms are motel style, so you park right in front. The room was big and the bed was quite large, like two double beds put together. Our grandson slept with us and there was plenty of room. The room also has a table and two arm chairs, good for reading and relaxing. Room was very clean and in pretty good condition. While pleasant it is very pricey. Now twice the rate we paid ten years ago. The breakfast was a choice of one of three Thai dishes or an American breakfast (Thai style) and a specialty coffee from their coffee shop. My wife said the Thai dish was very good and mine was a typical Thai American breakfast. There is also a restaurant (reviewed separately) the Lainam. The receptionist did not appear to speak English.All in all its a pleasant place for a stopover when traveling. If you know you will stop in Suphanburi I suggest you check out all the choices and prices first.

Lovely and new
Reviewed By TanyaZollyWe decided to stop at Suphan Buri for a couple of nights while driving through Thailand. Finding Piccolo House was a blessing. It was very clean and accomodating. There is plenty of parking, a small cafe/coffee shop at the entrance and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is a convenience store across the road and street food too. The rooms are sparcely decorated and the front reception seating area and small outside seating areas are clean and inviting. The chef accommodated our requests well and the breakfast list did not detail the food well enough in English. So what we thought we ordered was a little different, however delicious. The Piccolo house is a lovely, clean base for seeing the sights of Suphan Buri.

A wonderful budget hotel
Reviewed By BangkokPhilI stayed here for one night to see a football match at Suphanburi Stadium (which is a 20-minute walk away) It was perfect for my needs and great value for money. Fantastic room with comfy bed, good shower, ice cold air conditioning (and Suphanburi can be a hot place) strong wi-fi signal, etc. 10/10 for the young lady who runs the reception because she was so friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work and I hope to see you again some day.

Reviewed By Terry AStayed overnight in one of the quite new Delux Rooms. Very clean and everything worked including the WIFI. Slept well. Loved all the scenery and greenery. All the staff were very friendly. No restaurant, but the pre-ordered breakfast was brought in on time and was the usual for an up-country Thai Resort (cold but tasty eggs). Would very happily stay there again!

Excellent WiFi and good clothes hanging facility in the room (plenty of space and hangers). Thai style bathroom (wet all over the place after shower), but the sink is located on the balcony. A bit odd. Otherwise good hotel for the price paid.

Reviewed By thapi969Old school hotel, good location in a good price. The bed is not so comfortable, equipments are old-fashioned but it is acceptable since the price is very cheap. I would recommend this hotel if you don’t know where to stay.

The worst hotel ever, NEVER stay here!

Front desk staff was not helpful or even bother attempting to change one of our 5 twin bed rooms to double bed, even though we had it pre arranged. They just conveniently give all twin beds based on their convenience. Shower pressure is like a baby peeing, you are better off scooping water from the basin tap to shower. Barely any amenities are provided, bring your own! Moulds and algae are growing on the shower walls, filthy to the max !! Other than the ambience lighting in the room, there is nothing at all worth mentioning positively. The bedroom furnitures are like recycled from scrape yard, aircon is not even cool at all. The breakfast food served are cold.
