Beautiful place
Reviewed By myview1706We booked through MotoExpress for the MotoGp and stayed here. And after a nightmare journey we got off the train and the owners son came and picked us up! We were welcomed and shown to our room which was basic but very clean, and because of our late arrival the bbq welcome dinner(organized through moto express) was pretty much over but the owners kept a load of food warm for us so we didnt go hungry! if we wanted to go into town or return to the hotel from being in town there was no problem all we had to do was call them!

Reviewed By Nadja SDas Hotel liegt total zentral. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer mit großem Boxspringbett. Alles machte einen neuen Eindruck und das Zimmer war super sauber. Es gab Zahnbürste, Pads, Wattestäbchen, Waschlappen, Pantoffeln, Tee und Wasser. Sowas findet man normal nur bei 5 Sterne Hotels. Das Frühstück ist der Wahnsinn mit einer riesigen Auswahl. Reviewed By Martin L SDriving to the UK, enroute I booked a single here and arrived late Saturday evening to find hotel all dark... very worried. The owners arrived just as I was calling the contact number pasted to the entrance. They opened up the place and issued a key (basic reception with handwritten reservation book, no PCs, etc). Up one flight of stairs to the room in a recently renovated corridor. Pleasantly surprised, - large room with double bed, nicely decorated, very clean, very fresh linen, mineral water and chocolates on the desk = plenty of storage space with proper hangers = reasonable large, well equipped shower room with basic toiletries, and quality thick towels = basic breakfast, but adequate. As a two star this place outdid its' self Added bonus is the place is at the end of the "town (village) centre" with numerous bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away. Recommend if one is on a limited budget.

Reviewed By drtorstenbWir waren eine Nacht im Kötnerhof zu Gast und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin hat uns überaus freundlich empfangen. Das Appartment ist frisch renoviert und sehr schick und modern ausgestattet. Leider gibt es am Wochenende keine Chance, in der Nähe etwas zum Frühstücken zu erlangen. Auch muss man die Ruhe mögen, wenn es einen hierher verschlägt. Es ist nun wirklich ein winziger Ort.... Da wir eine Abendveranstaltung auf der Marienburg besucht haben, war die Lage jedoch dafür sehr geeignet. Wir können dieses ruhige Kleinod also gern weiter empfehlen. Zumal der Preis für das Gebotene prima war.

Schöne, leider vernachlässigte Location mit Mängeln.

Das eigentlich wunderschöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Haus wird vernachlässigt. Notwendige Kleinreparaturen wurden wohl schon länger nicht mehr durchgeführt, Schlingpflanzen überwuchern Balkone, so daß man sie nicht mehr betreten kann, Spülmaschine spült nicht richtig, der entzückende Innenhof und ein weiterer Außenbereich sind ebenfalls ziemlich zugewachsen und ungepflegt. Leider zeigte uns die Betreiberin nicht, wo was im Haus zu finden ist, und wie verschiedene Dinge funktionieren. Sie war für Rückfragen äußerst schwer zu erreichen, und die Leih-Wäschepakete waren m.E. überteuert. Die Küche verließen wir jedenfalls sauberer, als wir sie vorfanden. Alarmierend: Es fehlten komplett Feuerlöscher und Rauchmelder! Fazit: Dieses wunderschöne und geräumige Haus mit 1000 Möglichkeiten würde von mir mit etwas mehr Pflege und Engagement eine zweite Chance bekommen. (Dafür ist der dritte Punkt!) Wichtige Anmerkung: Es handelt sich nicht mehr um ein Hotel, sondern um ein Selbstversorger-Gästehaus!

Sehr leckeres frisches Essen in dem Restaurant zur Holzmühle
Reviewed By Zauberfee53Wir hatten heute auf Empfehlung die Holzmühle aufgesucht und waren sehr überrascht. Kleine Karte jedoch überaus toll präsentierte Gerichte die sehr lecker waren - sogar vegane und vegetarische Speisen waren dabei. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder. Einen Dank an den Koch und an das tolle Personal! Das Hotel haben wir nicht besucht . Deswegen können wir es nicht beurteilen. Es liegt jedoch ruhig gelegen. Hat einen See .

Più che albergo mi sembra una colonia
Reviewed By Ranex76Mi ricorda i vecchi tempi ... A fianco c'è un istituto tecnico per elettricisti e sembra di stare in un campus. Pochi servizi ma almeno è pulito anche se non sopporto la moquette in cui si annidano migliori di acari. Offre una buona e ricca colazione a buffet...da provare le salsiccette con frittatina. A 30 minuti di macchina dalla fiera di Hannover
