Coral Divers Course and Stay Review

Reviewed By StuartK631

Course work was well planned and executed. Instructors Dean and Steph were fun and engaging, and kept the course interesting. The diving was second to none and the operations were streamlined. I particularly enjoyed the social scene at the camp where I met and got to know many people at the communal braai area.

Sad and neglected

What can I say about Triton, I am sure there was a time when this was a really special place, sadly now it is looking run down and neglected. Our first unit had holes in the mosquito net, gecko poo on beds, I know it’s a bush venue with all the challenges that comes with it. The shower leaks badly and you either have hot or cold water almost impossible to get a mix, mildew on walls really not nice, even two different taps. The two plate stove had seen better days, I scrubbed all the plates before our first meal as they really looked very neglected. Happily we could change to ma’s cottage. A lot better, lots of light, great big patio, kitchen was a lot better than previous unit. I can still see the potential of this lodge but some serious work need to be done on general maintenance of the lodge. Good luck hope you can pull this place back to its former glory

Nice place poorly managed

Nice place poorly managed. Staff is not prepared to handle this place properly, and we have encountered several issues when checking in. Breakfast on site is not available and they won't tell you until you check in. The restaurant opens at 12pm and there is nowhere to buy coffee or water in the lodge. The only option is to drive out of the lodge and go to a coffee shop / supermarket. Chalets can use a thorough maintenance and cleanliness. The place is very quiet and nice.

Beach vibes, excellent company, great stay

Reviewed By Desiree S

If you're after an affordable Sodwana stay with lovely self catering options, great company and the essentials catered for, stay here. We stayed in one of their small cabins, complete with double bed and mozzie net, and used the communal bathrooms. This was the perfect setup for us. If you're used to camping then this setup feels like sheer luxury! The self catering kitchen had everything we needed except we couldn't find a tin opener. Marinda was always around to help us with advice or assistance with our needs. Natural Moments is 4km away from the beach, a quick, easy drive. It's also across the road from a wonderful ice cream shop (that had the best fresh chips on offer), a great restaurant and a spaza shop that you can walk to in 10 seconds to pick up the necessities. Thank you very much, team!

Vis-Agie Fishing and Diving Resort

Very unpleasant stay!!!

Reviewed By ZanteduR

We made a booking and decided to cancel. Owner refused to accept our cancelation. She phoned me and asked me to please not cancel our accommodation and offered a lower rate in exchange for us to stay. She then confirmed our accommodation date via email. Upon arrival, we found out that she charged us more than what we agreed upon. The owner was so unprepared for us even though she knew we were coming and I phoned beforehand to confirm that we are on our way. The roof in the cabins were leaking, the lights do not work, no towels supplied, no electricity in our cabin, no hot water, the list goes on. I am so disappointed. Will never stay here again and will never recommend this accomodation to anyone. This was definitely not worth the money we paid.

Our family enjoyed the stay a lot, the team, we could just relax and they did all the cleaning and dishes, carried all our luggage and were always there to help. Quad bike trip was lots of fun, such a beautiful views, lake and very experienced tour guide with so many intention stories. I would definitely recommend you to stay there if you look for a getaway and relax from town and unite with nature, or just come for a dive, fishing or holidays with children as they mentioned they are a family camp.
