Lovely B&B in the village of Vuotso
Reviewed By DavvebieggaI spent only one night on my way up north, but liked the place very much. It's only a few minutes to walk from the bus stop, but a very quiet place in the night. The owners are very friendly and nice people, the room was comfortable, good breakfast included. I had a comfortable room upstairs with own toilet. Shared shower downstars. Free wifi worked perfectly. I didn't know they also have snowshoes for rental, so I might come back for several days in the winter/spring time.

Reviewed By Tomi_WickmanSuper nice lady came in to the reception after we called the number in the window. Large area with possibility to choose open grass field or more private separated with bushes. OK sanitary and kitchen facilities even though small. Fancy large open fire place for bbq, woods included. Recommendable.

Hotel Sodankylä, started 1968, traditional, cosy hotel with spacious rooms, sauna, restaurants, meeting rooms. Open year around. Daily Buffet breakfast and sauna included always. A la Carte from Monday until Friday. Happenings occasionally/seasonally. Quality1000 programm since 2015.

Reviewed By im_ksunIn the bar of the hotel you can taste meet of the deers and other local tasty things. Many local musicians perform in the bar sometimes. During the film festival (Midnight Sun Film Festival) the hotel is full.

Reviewed By Clémente TLa seule chose agréable est le cadre, personne pour accueillir, les portes des cottages ne s'ouvrent pas. Nous devons nous battre avec la porte pour rentrer dans la pièce principale contenant les lits et la cuisine. Cependant nous n'avons pas accès à la salle de bain/ sauna, la porte est bloquée. Nous avons donc appelé le numéro à utiliser en cas de problème, la personne nous a dit qu'elle ne pouvait rien faire car elle était à 60km du lieu. Aucune assistance en cas de besoin. Et aucune aide du site de réservation.
