We stayed here for a Silverstone experience. We got lost on route and called Carolyn for directions and she was super helpful! We finally arrived after her perfect directions, and she greeted us on arrival with a friendly introduction. She gave us a tour of where we were staying and our room was perfect. Super comfy beds, lovely en suite shower, and Netflix on the TV. Absolutely perfect. Lovely decorated and smelt fresh and clean. It has a shared living room but we didnt get to meet our neighbours. It was like a home away from home. Carolyn asked us what we would like for our breakfast so we put our order in and the following morning it was cooked fresh at the time agreed ans brought over by the husband. Freshly squeezed orange juice, toast, a variety of jams, and a fantastic full english breakfast. Lovely area, great scenery, and Carolyns horse is gorgeous. Its only 6 minutes from Silverstone race track which was ideal. I have already rebooked. Thanks again!!! Chris

This is a family home that is only available for the Silverstone GP which is a shame as I would go back any time of the year. 6 rooms were made available and every guest was there for the GP. The bathroom is shared which could be an issue for some people but, not for us. The family are wonderful people, the house is amazing and breakfast excellent. My husband was taken ill during our stay and the family were so caring and helpful with everything from advice on the best hospital to making sure I was OK. Some of the guests did not have their own transport so, they were driven/collected to/from the circuit by the lovely Harry.

Not worth the money

Reviewed By 486kARENK

We were there for the Moto GP, first break since the pandemic with us both being key workers so super excited to be glamping at such a great event. Firstly the guys that run it were nice and pleasant, BUT at a cost of £1295 I expected more, the blow up beds deflated every night, the showers were not pleasant. When you consider on Silverstone circuit over 100,000 people are there and the toilets were immaculate yet these facilities were dirty even at 5.15 am. The toilets in the immediate area were quite good but the showers in the main block were really poor. Definite maintenance and service needed. A cleaner would be a good start . Breakfast was included but why oh why do we have to have polystyrene cups , not environmentally friendly and certainly not what I expect COME ON GUYS you can buy mugs from Amazon in bulk and actually give everyone a mug. Instead of giving everyone a bottle of Cava , buy some decent crockery. The bacon sandwiches were okay, again nothing special, bit like a roadside café rather than a GLAMPING site . Nothing else in the tent apart from blow up beds, rug and a tea light. How do we light the tealight???????. Ours was a 4/5 birth thankfully only 3 of us attended. Very small. Not sure if any of our neighbours have reviewed but when speaking to our immediate neighbours everyone was disappointed. I actually rang around all the other camp sites to see if we could move but sadly they were all fully booked. We have glamped many times before and this is the worst. Outside the tent were some really cheap old wooden chairs. If the chairs were mine they would be firewood. This was meant to be a bit of luxury at the end of each fun filled day at the MOTO GP, but it wasn't. Just really poor The walk to the circuit was a good 30 minutes, not that it bothered us, but it was just another thing. When I mentioned that the advert said it was only 15 he said yes but we have moved further away. We planned to stay till Monday but came home on the Sunday evening. I was expecting a bit more Glamp and far less camp, not unreasonable in my opinion. Just not worth the money, and I won’t be back with INTENTSGP for any other event . This did not meet my expectations

TOTAL SCAM COMPANY BEWARE

Reviewed By Q9673CPpaulg

Booked and paid in March 2021 £580 after February discount! Booked and paid for luxury half board Glamping for 4 nights at British Grand Prix (normally would have booked a hotel but due to high demand no places available or at extortionate prices. Arrived to find sit not signposted at all, no stewards no check in facilities. Directed by a boy on a motorbike to a tent with nothing more. Dirty stinking mattresses available (gave them a miss) no running water, no showers disgusting portsloos. No half board food at all Nothing. No Covid precautions in place. Police and environmental health called out. Police were only there to prevent a breach of the peace by the angry campers. Wayne or Ryan (the owner of the company) or whatever name he decides he wants to use, was not interested in sorting anything. Environmental health we’re going to close the site down but we’re assured showers and running water would be on “soon”. A 4 shower mobile ports cabin was delivered to site and connected up but originally Wayne refused to open 2 of the showers, eventually giving in to campers demands. We were told it was all Booking.com’s fault for overbooking but there wasn’t even basic facilities for those that were fortunate enough to get a tent. No food or bedding after travelling from Scotland and no apology from Wayne the Scam / Fraud artist. Had to get a couple of sleeping bags from local supermarket. This guy has made repeated excuses as to why refunds are not forthcoming and has now ignored all correspondence from many many disgusted clients that cannot get any sort of refund. This company and vile creature needs to be avoided at all costs as you will lose your money. This is not the first time he has carried out this scam and walked away with peoples money. BEWARE. SHAME ON BOOKING.COM as well for being totally useless in helping people. WAYNE ATKINSON HAS LIED AND CHEATED HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE OUT OF TENS OF THOUSANDS OF POUNDS.

Beautiful Location, Lovely Rooms

We stayed at Handley Barn for my husband’s work Christmas party held fairly close by. We were not disappointed by this fantastic find! The host is very accommodating and friendly, the barn is just beautiful, as is the scenic location. The horsey neigh-bours were a bonus too! The room was modern, clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfy and the kitchenette was handy (yummy biscuits too!). It was great to park our car right outside of our room in the secure stable yard. We will definitely return!

Wonderful

Reviewed By Q4649WDbernardb

We used WOW tents for our annual visit to Silverstone for the Grand Prix. We had 2 tents which were quite comfortable. The walk to the track was a bit longer this year as the field housing the old general campsite has been sold i think to Aston Martin for a new factory. That said it was only about 10 minute walk. Food was readily available both at the WOW tent area and in the general camping area next door. Some great entertainment also provided. This is our 4th year and have used most of the other camping sites. The WOW one i would recommend. The report saying terrible above is totally untrue and frankly should be removed. He claimed he was robbed as didnt get his money back, we had no trouble whatsoever dealing with these guys.
