Reviewed By Tomasz BThey have an excellent restaurant with local specialties like kartacze, cepeliny and placki litewskie. For desert I strongly recommend meringue cake but be warned about it's size - way too big for one.

(almost) at the end of the world
Reviewed By gjbliA very cozy place, good choice if you are driving to Lithania or cycling in north-eastern Poland. The name translates to "A Valley of small deers" which is quite relevant because: (1) the terrain is quite hilly (2) we saw a small deer in the vicinity. This is a country-style but newly built house with approx. 6 guest rooms, small but nicely arranged, with a dining room, veranda and a common room. The cooking is excellent. you can expect home made cottage-cheese, home made bread and wild strawberry jam. Our host (Gosia) was very helpfull. There is a home made "bania" (Russian style sauna) nearby, no words can describe it, you must see the photos attached :) WiFi was not very fast but functional. A word of caution - the place is quite hard to find, the address was not present in my GPS database - there is no sign on the road to Ogrodniki border crossing - when entering Ogrodniki from the west there is a lake on the left, just when you see the lake there is a ground road right, take it and drive approx 2 km, there will be a sign advertising "Dolina Sarenek", from there is quite easy :) To summarize: an excellent choice in this region - will return!

Obsluga na bardzo wysokim poziomie a zaangażowanie właścicieli w komfort klienta ponad przeciętną. Oczywiście po obiedzie nie zapomnijcie o pysznym deserze, polecam na uroczystości rodzinne Joanna

Dobre miejsce na odpoczynek
Reviewed By michal099Nowy, niedawno wyremontowany pokój. Nowe meble. Wygodna pościel. Siatki w oknach, zapobiegające konieczności przeganiania owadów. W pokoju telewizor. Prywatna łazienka. Spokojna okolica (blisko do Suwałk, nad jezioro Hańcza i Wigry). Dobre miejsce wypadowe na wycieczki. Mili i sympatyczni właściciele - na czas pobytu można skorzystać z ich kuchni. Warto przyjechać!

Good stopover close to border
Reviewed By Maciej CVery friendly Staff ? Good location, 5 min walking to center. Parking available behind the pension. Quite large rooms, very clean. Karczma on the ground, however closed after 22, but the food suppose to be good. Nice for a stopover.

Idealne miejsce na kameralny rodzinny zjazd, wypad przyjaciół, plener artystyczny lub rezydencję twórczą w niewielkim gronie o każdej porze roku. Uroczy gospodarze, przytulne wnętrze, wygodne pokoje, rozległe tarasy i niebywale smaczne śniadania. Jezioro osiągalne 10 minutowym spacerem.Las, pola, drogi idealne do rowerowych wycieczek. Bliziutko do Dworu Fundacji POGRANICZE, gdzie zawsze cos ciekawego się dzieje i do Sejn.
