Nice and spacious room. The staff serves you in whatever you ask. Breakfast very filling. I recommend it to everyone! In city good location!

Reviewed By mu786Absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel, huge rooms, WiFi worked well within the confines of the room. Room was made daily with the cleaning staff ensuring that we were happy, drinking water was replenished daily with enough supply and there is a lockable safe. Television - not many English speaking but you have the propaganda English news channel. In general all the staff were wonderful, approachable even though at times language was a a barrier. Front desk- there is a young classy man who speaks fluent English, very accommodating (he is single!!). Location is prime, with a supermarket next door, eateries and shops ?♀️ distance, the fish lake a 20 minute walk. The spa was decent, gym not the biggest but all equipment was useable- note these facilities are open to the general public also. Previous reviews have mentioned the owner- he is in his eighties, not once was he a threat, in fact I admired him; his hands on role and his faculties all intact (I’ll be ? if I do half the things at that age). Book without hesitation - there are worst stays in the west.

The food is good and the Restaurant staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We strongly recommend Hiton Garden Inn as the best place to stay in Urfa.

Reviewed By 86ekaterinatI loved my stay here. The service was excellent. The room was comfortable with an amazing view of the castle. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I had in Turkey. Location is just perfect in the old city. Will definitely stay here again if back to Urfa.

Our hotel is situated just next to historical twelve apostles church. Originally it had been built as the outbuilding of that church and that is why it has an extraordinary architecture compared to the other old houses around. We have 11 hotel rooms with 24 hour hot water, satellite tv, free wi-fi, mini fridge, hair drier in this peaceful building. If asked during reservation we can organise airport transfers and tours to tourist spots with reasonable prices.

Reviewed By IbnBatutta3000The place is ice looking, some rooms are new, but the bathrooms are the problem, the cheapest shower installations, hardly and water and it is either very hot or very cold. Allover cheap furniture ruins the atmosphere, plastic chairs in the courtyard are just ugly. Big plus is the food. With candle light and romantic furniture this place could be a pearl.

safety issues
Reviewed By Wanderer87390Booked for 2 nights. Stayed in a twin room, ground floor. There was a long cord along entry to the bathroom and around the bed, which you could fall over. The light near the bed needed new light bulb. Bathroom cabinet was broken & bathroom was filthy. Bathroom ceiling ventilator held to ceiling with tissues. TV did not work. Filthy floor rugs. Bedroom stunk of urine. No hand sanitisers or masks in room or public areas. No water provided. Mini bar was switched off & empty. Couldn’t find a phone. Eventually found an old broken telephone hidden in a cabinet, with exposed broken wires tied up. Other cabinet with coat hangers had a left behind T-shirt from someone else and junk in drawer. There was no view as advertised. Just a small window near the ceiling. No wifi. Issues were raised with a young guy whose response was “I just work here”. Requested yo change rooms but hotel was full. He did change light bulb & removed cord but couldn’t get tv to work. He sprayed the room to mask the urine smell but that didn’t last. No apology. Please refer to my photos before booking this hotel.

Reviewed By BajkaZsuzsaWe had one night at this hotel, nothing special. In the pandemic time pool was not open, sauna was closed. Lunch was normal one, nothing special. Cannot say anything about the stuff or the rooms, for one night, was ok. But the city of Sanliurfa is nice

A bigger effort

Our experience wasn’t bad, there’s just a few things to be pointed out We had an agency made our reservations. They said it’s a 5 star hotel. They gave un what they called the best rooms in the house. They where ok, except they face the street. Maybe because of Ramadan, or just because the street is noisy. We had what it sounded like a parade outside. There’s like a little convenient store in front. They operated past midnight. Besides the noise, the blinds are too thin, so we had a lot of light coming from the outside. Also there was a small lounge are just outside our room. There where people having a reunion. Smoking maybe having drinks, they weren’t really loud, but still you don’t want to be listening to “the neighbors” when you want to go to bed. The meals where another issue. The food was ok, it was just communicating with the staff a problem. They don’t speak Spanish or English. They are nice and they try, but it was difficult asking for things out of the fixed menu. We probably had too much food. Talking about communication issues, for the second night we asked about changing rooms. But because it was late and we where somehow in a rush we ended no chaining rooms. What was our surprise when we got back at night. They didn’t clean our room! So as I said, its a pretty renovated old house, the staff is nice, but they’re just need tu upgrade their game.
