Reviewed By bessobeckerThis place was absolutely horrible. We checked in and checked out within the hour. The room was bare. Nothing but a bed, dresser and night tables. The balcony had those cheap plastic chairs. I first tried to change rooms but every room was basically the same. The place is worn out and shabby, paint peeling, anti-slip strips at the pool were peeling, the gazebo was falling apart, A/C only in the rooms and calling it A/C was being kind. Wi-Fi with one bar in the rooms.I could go on..the only bright spots in this tedious and stressing situation were Luis at the front desk and Maria who, I assumed, was in housekeeping. They tried hard to make us happy, but there was no way I could allow this place to ruin another amazing trip to Costa Rica. We moved .3 miles to Margaritaville where we are now. I’ve never done this before. Never had to, but so happy we left the place. If they want to attract international travelers, they need to give this place a serious facelift.

Fine Service, Good Location and Reasonably Priced
Reviewed By upperwestsider72Stayed here for a week as the hotel is owned by the same owners as CPI, a Spanish language school nearby. The staff is charming and helpful and there is a lovely pool, which is a great way to cool off, as the daytime temperatures can exceed 90 degrees. There is a good laundry service. The units are equipped with a kitchenette, which is convenient as there is a supermarket about a 10 minute walk away. The rates are very reasonable. A breakfast is included, although the choice is somewhat limited.

Reviewed By wheats68At check in the reception was a guy by himself who said that there were no expected check in’s. I said I booked 6 hours ago with priceline. He said sorry I don’t know what that is. I asked him to check the computer to see my reservation. His response was I don’t do that. My boss calls me when there is a reservation. No computer. No system. No workers. No bar. No restaurant. No toilet paper. Dirty walls. Severely in need of repairs and maintenance. This was possibly a nice place many years ago. Now it’s a don’t even bother kind of place. If Priceline policy on change or cancel was different, I would have left after the reception refused to look for for my reservation. Complete waste of my money and more importantly my time.

Freddy and his nephew went out of their way to give us assistance with the sim card and other things we had questions about. The pool is GREAT, the rooms are comfy, the outdoor veranda/patio is a great spot for sitting and relaxing. Call ahead to make your reservation or search online for a coupon code.

Reviewed By Willy5169I must first disclose, i came here for a week last March . . and am in week 6 of 10 weeks . . escaping the Midwest winter. 360 is a very special place . . water views both north and south . . located on top of a hill, 250 feet above the Flamingo beach . . let the waves lull you to sleep. This is truly a 5 star experience, staff, facility, accomodations . . no restaurant on premise, but book a golf cart for your stay and you have 30+ restaurants to choose from. Secret tip - the espresso machine on 4th floor patio . . next to the fully equiped workout room.

Reviewed By jmltravels20Cute place with large rooms and powerful AC. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere, though. It’s about a 10 minute walk to Play Potrero. It’s easiest to get a taxi (or rent a car) to get around to Playa Flamingo or Playa Brasilito. A taxi was 2-3mil each way.

It had what I call a rustic charm and I don't mind a lukewarm shower when it's brazing outside (I call that a tropical shower ;) ). I loved being so close to Flamingo (for a fancy drink at at sunset) and Potrero (more chilled out) yet feeling away from everything. A couple of nice restaurants literally next door, the beach, supermarket and bank within very short walking distance, that's all I needed. And Janina is one of the kindest persons I've met in CR.

Reviewed By shelbsocMy boyfriend and I were originally very excited about our stay at Colores del Pacifico. The pictures looked beautiful, as did the idea of sunsets in Playa Flamingo, and in general we were looking forward to relaxing at this property. Little did we know, our stay at Colores del Pacifico was our most stressful travel experience to date. Colores del Pacifico is located near the top of a hill, and given the hot temperatures in the region and lack of rainfall, it is a region prone to fires. On our third day at Colores, when we were returning from a day at the beach, we spotted a fire near the top of the hill. As we approached in our taxi, we saw a number of employees hosing down the property next door, which was entirely lit in flames. Needless to say, Colores del Pacifico was in a cloud of smoke, and was at risk of going under fire as well. My boyfriend and I were told to quickly collect our belongings and leave, in the interest of our own safety. So we did just that, and ran down the long road from Colores with all our bags, in search of a hotel. Given the last minute notice, we were only able to find a run-down hotel to stay in that evening, our last night in Costa Rica. We called Ben, Colores' manager, to check in on the fire and request reimbursement for the night's stay - which he agreed to. Over the past year, we've emailed Ben ~10-15 times asking for our reimbursement, and despite numerous responses from him, we have yet to receive our reimbursement, and it is very clear he does not intend to reimburse us. I am telling you this story because I highly recommend staying elsewhere in Playa Flamingo. While the staff appears friendly, if anything goes wrong (Re: FIRE), they will not help you or reimburse you. They're also located at the top of the hill, and it is an expensive taxi ride to get to anywhere else in Playa Flamingo. You will be much better off staying at one of the many hotels located at ground level, closer to the water, and near restaurants in the area. I have never written a TripAdvisor review before, but I felt it was necessary given the abysmal treatment we've received since our stay at Colores. I urge you to strongly consider staying elsewhere!

The room they gave us was in the Dungeon ! definite lack of furniture in the room and none on the balcony if you wanted to sit there !! We drove down the slope which was like a rollercoaster ride as so steep ! Next morning when we went for breakfast - I only had coffee - it’s could be really lovely as stunning view from there ! And pool area looked ok - a few places to sit and enjoy the view !! But they need a few key members of staff who know what they are doing ! Someone obviously local came to complain about the rubbish at the end of the drive although he should have asked to talk to a manager the receptionist just didn’t smushed him ! Probably the worst place we stayed in Costa Rica !!! Although we had stayed in the famous resort on flamingo beach the previous week for a few extra dollars I wish we had gone back
