Casas do Juizo is a tourist resort located in two closed condominiums located in the center of the village, consisting of 8 houses with 13 double beds and 4 single beds. All the houses have a kitchen equipped with all the basic utensils to prepare meals, a Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee machine, air conditioning in several rooms, a fireplace and a bathroom with all the amenities you need for your stay. The restoration was guided, both interior and exterior, by maintaining the original design, where yellow granite predominates. In the common outdoor spaces there is a covered outdoor swimming pool (not heated), shared by all guests of the other Houses (in total there are 8 houses), leisure areas, gardens and vegetable gardens, 2 fountains, 1 well for the use of rainwater and 2 common bathrooms. Guests at Casas do Juízo can prepare their own meals, as each house includes a fully equipped kitchen. In addition, Taberna do Juiz can serve breakfast and dinner upon prior request 48 hours before arrival. Guests can enjoy the tranquility and unique landscapes of the Vale do Coa region. Porto International Airport is 233 km away.

We would never have stumbled across this little rural paradise without our cycling tour operator, but are so happy they booked us here. The ride to Juizo from Castello Rodrigo through the Coa Valley was just gorgeous the hospitality of Daniela and André at Casas do Juizo refreshing. The dinner and breakfast picnic baskets Taverna do Juiz prepared were fresh and plentiful even for hungry bikers. We appreciated the re-usable glass jars for serving and no plastic. There would have been plenty of food for four with more than enough to pack a picnic lunch from the leftovers. Thank you Daniela and André for the lovely souvenir.

Luxury in the middle of nowhere
Reviewed By tombolahughesLoved it! Big clean air conditioned room in an ancient stone built village on the middle of nowhere! There’s a pool and bbq to cook on (no shops or restaurants which I didn’t know) but if you ask for mila who also speaks English she’ll cook you an amazing supper all from her own farm.

Reviewed By momilesIn a newer neighborhood, just 10 min walk to center of town and the old city. Super clean, quiet and so comfortable. Secure Bicycle parking. Carlos, the owner, is one of the kindest, most helpful hosts and fun to talk with, even if in a mix of Portuguese and Spanish! He makes you feel at home. He gave us good local intel on places to see. The location of the guest house is convenient to a supermarket and a fabulous Italian restaurant, Deep Taste. I fell in love with Pinhel and our stay at this BnB: authentic, warm and generous. Do have the breakfast for an extra 7.5€, it was very good (lots of fresh fruit, good bread, local cookies, homemade jams, ham, turkey, sliced cheese & local sheep cheese, coffee/tea, juice and more).

Junta a modernidade dos quartos com alguns apontamentos da antiga casa, o que lhe dá um toque muito interessante. O dono foi muito atencioso. Recomendamos vivamente. A cidade de Pinhel é muito bonita e está muito bem arranjada.

Gente simpática, humilde e muito disponíveis. Fica a vontade de voltar novamente por mais uns dias ;-)
