The hotel -apartments were very clean, carefully supplied with all necessities. Very kind owner Mrs.Marion,who helped with good advises-where to go for lunch, what to visit, how to use wise our short stay. We would warmly recommend to anybody-families with children, couples who want a good holiday, young people to enjoy sun and sea.Paradise for pets!

Some good tavernas arround and the whole Kassandra easy to visit. And, on top of it, Eleni is the most kind, pleasant and helpful host we had in more than 20 years of vacations in Greece.

Reviewed By JulyraThe hotel has great value. Excelent location, very comfortable suítes and nice bed with clean comfortable pillows. Good breakfast, roots cleaned daily, very short walk to excelent beach barraca itaparica. Very clean delicious pool. Clean and very nice staff I highly recommended!

Great family holiday
Reviewed By Edyta LWe have stayed at Portes at end of May. Amazing weather. We have booked directly with the hotel so we got transfer included in the price. Taxi driver was waiting for us at the airport with a name written on the board. Journey was very pleasant and took around 45min. We have stayed in 255 room and it was just perfect as it was just where the kids pool and club was. Very convenient. We had a bottle of wine and fruit plate as a welcome, thanks for that:) Kids club animators were amazing. Specifically Francesca! Swimming pool was clean but the tiles around it were very slippery if wet so be aware! Bar stuff great! Food was ok, limited variety of fruit. But maybe will be expanded in following months. I have had a massage there … was so good. We took a taxi to Afitos , beautiful little town worth visiting. If you want to eat there please check your bill carefully as we were charged almost double. Overall can’t recommend Portes enough! Thanks for a great, relaxing time.

Amazing holiday
Reviewed By Jo FWe have just returned from a 10 night stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff couldn’t do enough for you especially the pool bar and restaurant staff. Big mention to Stathis the chef for all he did to ensure my son enjoyed his meals. He’s a very fussy eater and can’t have fish or cheese so he came out each night to see if he needed anything additional making. He even made him a cheese less pizza which my son loved! The pool is lovely and so clean, as is all the hotel! The sunbeds are lovely especially if you get the thick cushioned ones. I do think a few extra sunbeds would be helpful. The drinks are all premium drinks and if you don’t see a cocktail you fancy just ask and the wonderful staff will make you one! I recommend the pineapple mojito! The beach is also lovely and if you’re all inclusive some of the boats are included within this which is a fantastic added extra. I do recommend some beach shoes though as if you want to go in the sea the first few steps in are a bit stoney which can hurt your feet a little. Once past the first few steps it’s sandy. Clear beautiful water too! We stayed in a loft suite which had its own balcony, 2 in fact which my son loved having his own bathroom and balcony! AgAin very clean and well presented. The mini fridge restocked daily. My only feedback would be entertainment, there wasn’t much a couple of nights there were singers which were good but everything stopped at about 11 and the bars closed at 12. Which suited us fine but if you’re looking for lively night entertainment this isn’t available but we didn’t mind that. We wanted a relaxing holiday and just enjoyed chatting and stuff at night. My son had cards and the bar staff allowed him to charge his phone etc so he was fine. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday this definitely is the holiday for you. This felt like luxury and we certainly feel relaxed. We would love to come again some time. We found out on our last day you can hire a car for 40 euros which seemed good if you want to explore as there isn’t anything near the hotel. The hotel do run a shuttle bus into the nearby town, we went to the market which was good. We also went on a boat trip organised by jet 2 to visit the monasteries and then went for a swim in the clearest water I’ve ever seen! €58 each for adults and half price for kids. It was a big pirate ship so worth doing. Thank you for a wonderful holiday all at Portes lithos resort xxx

"ARGO" is a 3 keys/ stars BEACH RESORT (exactly in front of the sea)complex of 18 fully furnished and equipped apartments (2-7 people). Every apartment is built in a Greek traditional architectural style, with extra care in detail and quality, while the greenery of the gardens gives a unique sense of calmness.

Reviewed By mcsroThe location is very good. Right on the beach in a quiet area at walking distance from a supermarket and restaurants. Just across the street there is a nice terrace with food and drinks. The beach is sandy (although not the clean white sand) with some trees allowing to choose between sun or shadow. There are also sunbeds which could be used for free. The water is clean with some stones but after a few steps the bottom of the sea is sandy. Good location for families with kids because of the short distance in between beach and apartment. The apartment we have rented was a duplex, having bedroom, linving room+kitchen, bathroom and a nice terrace at the first floor and a second bedrrom and another nice terrace at the second floor. There is an option to use a second room at the second floor for additional price, but we did not. The duplex was facing the sea with a very nice view. The downsize of if is the bathroom, rather small (both area and low hight). The duplex is equiped with air-conditioning, refridgerator, microwave oven, electric stove, plates and cutlery. I would say all required to have brakefast or lunch or dinner at home. Just in front of the building there is the street where you can park your car for free. The owner is very friendly, always keen to help and a helpful guide. Although we have been in July/August the weather was perfect, not hot at all, while the sea had almost no waves. We decided and already planned to come back.

Reviewed By Stefany63We reserved a room with sea view for a week. Check in was at 14:00 we arrived around 14:30 and the room was not ready, the guy at the reception told us to wait for around 1:30. We finally got the room at 19:00!!!. No alternative option was proposed to us in the meantime. Additionally we had no water to wash in the afternoon for two days. The reception was always closed. No one to ask. Wifi was not working in the room and the surface is definitely too small for 4 adults. Super market is really far, you have to use your car every day to get your breakfast. In a few words service and facilities are unacceptable. The word Luxury has no place in the name of this accommodation.
