The entire hotel complex has a modern, airy style, with a small but nice pool area at the back. Rooms are spacious with all expected amenites. Being a family of four we had two rooms with an interleading door - perfect for us. Breakfast had pretty much everything you can ask far. Wifi was good throughout the premises. Staff generally kind and helpful. Top notch!

Reviewed By ChipunguStayed for two nights and the room was comfortable though on the smaller side. The bathroom only has a shower and not the best for bathtub lovers like me. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. In the morning it is difficult to have extra sleep as the curtains allow light to come through. On the overall I will definitely be returning.

Reviewed By rickstradaThis is a great place to stay! The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is incredibly friendly. The restaurant has very good food with nothing but fresh ingredients. Very safe location and highly secure.

Bad Customer Service
Reviewed By ChipunguI checked in at about 8:45 p.m. and was allocated a so called Executive room. I went out to get some food immediately after checking in. I got back at about 10 p.m. and prepared myself to sleep. There were mosquitoes in the room, no mosquito net, so I switched on the air conditioning as the lodge did not provide any mosquito repellant or insecticide. I however couldn't sleep and about 1 a.m. when I realised the reason I couldn't sleep which was a hard mattress. The mattress felt like I was lying down on a rock. I went to the reception and did not get any assistance at all. I then requested for a refund from the owner who indicated that it can only be done in the morning at 8:30. I then left to find descent accommodation elsewhere which I did at the marvelous "The Urban Hotel". In the morning I went back to the Lodge to get my refund and the owner of the Lodge refused to refund me claiming I used the room and ignored the fact that the mattress which is the main thing I went for so I could have a good night rest was pathetic. She even dared me to take her to court as she was not going to refund me at all. She went on ranting and raving with so much unreasonableness that I had to start coaching her on customer service. In the end I did not get my refund and was such a waste of time engaging her. This is a bad place to stay and I would not recommend for anyone to stay at this Lodge. Further, the lodge doesn't provide courtesy water in the rooms. The owner of this Lodge is arrogant and does not understand how to give excellent customer experience.

Reviewed By Bengt HWe booked there since this Place was pretty much the only place in Ndola you could book on Booking.com The owner James was really nice and helpful and organised a taxi to pick us at the bus station as well as to Dag Hammarskjöld memorial outside Ndola (a must to go there for a Swede). The room was not so good. We were two (male) friends and had to share a Queen size bed, there was no hot water in the shower, there was no guest wifi at all and dinner took 1 hour and 45 minutes to cook from the order (a hamburger with fries!). We pre-ordered a breakfast to go since we left for Congo at 5.30 AM but they forgot about it so they had to drum up a cheese sandwich while our taxi was waiting and we were stressed. Finally, this place is really on the outskirts of Ndola so you'll need taxies if you don't have your own transport. We paid 65 USD for the double room.

Excellent but poor wifi
Reviewed By MrWorldtravellerJLast stayed here in 2015. This time the rooms have been refurbished and I will highly recommend the suite. Wifi hardly worked during my stay. Staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast and dinner buffets had good variety.
