Motel is 100 meters off the highway with double glazed front windows and double brick construction. Easy access for cars, trailers and rigid vehicles. Meals available Monday to Saturday 6 -8 pm in our restaurant or delivered to your room. No meals on public holidays. No pets allowed.

Reviewed By KuzururaStayed at Newell's on 13 April 2022 and paid $120 for two adults, one child and an infant in a room with a queen bed, single bed, private bathroom, TV, fridge, and parking outside the door. Good service and communication from the staff who arranged a late key collection after we were delayed. Recommended for decent stay.

Reviewed By marshfishThis motel was in an excellent location the room was well appointed. We went for a walk to the Coles supermarket for our Dinner as the night was forecasted to be cold…it was. An early start from this motel was easily accomplished. The bed was comfortable. No noise to keep us awake. The bathroom facilities were different but we’re no hassles. The staff at reception were very obliging.

Reviewed By drewstaThis motel is really conveniently located close to the main street, coffee shops and ex-servicemans club. It’s a pretty standard country motel setup. It was clean and well-equipped with a fridge and microwave. The beds were firm but clean and warm. Heating worked well. Car parking is convenient. Would recommend for a country stop over.

Reviewed By Kay ROwners/management, are the main reason for this rating however there were physical issues with the rooms. They are very old and dated but could still be clean, my room was not, there were visible webs and dust throughout the room and the bathroom was just plain dirty. Parking is a major issue also due to the designated parking spots, I was blocked out once and blocked in twice, not great when you have to track down other guests at night to move cars! When politely mentioning this to the owner his response was "I'm not a parking attendant and it's not my problem" Well it kind of is your problem if you own and run the place! Overall there are several other hotel/motels in Narrandera at similar prices which are cleaner and certainly friendlier. I do not recommend this one.

The Motel is situated just 2 blocks away from the Ex Servicemens Club, park and local hospital. An historic walking tour will take you through Narrandera's main attractions, including the Tiger Moth Museum, and other heritage sites. 5 minute walk to CBD. Close to hospital.

Reviewed By livetoholidayDid not enjoy the stay in this motel at all, the rooms are extremely dated, they are just old and could really do with a complete makeover, the room was tidy apart from the cobwebs hanging down in the bathroom and all the mould on the ceiling, the aircon unit was extremely loud and even when turned off through the night it continued to make a clunky noise, like something is trying to come out of it. Being on a highway you can hear the trucks all night long, and not to mention if you have a early start the walls are thin so you are woken by other guests, so you will wake up feeling like you haven’t been to sleep from that and the aircon. However the bed was very comfortable.

Reviewed By longtimetravellersWe had a lovely night at this motel. The greeting was so friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. It is easy walking distance to pubs and shopping area. Breakfast is included and there is a good selection for a continental plus they have a pancake machine. There is ramp or stair access as there is quite steep access. We would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed By F6640WDamandapI stayed in one of the pet friendly cabins. It was neat and tidy, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals. The cabin was exactly what I needed for a three night stay. At night it is nice and quiet. I wasn't sure if this would be the case because the caravan park is near some main roads. It was a pleasant surprise how quiet it was at night. The customer service really stood out. When I had an issue with one of my taps after hours, the owner helped me immediately. He was happy to help and had the tap fixed in no time. I accidentally left something in the cabin when I left. The owner called me right away to let me know and then posted it back to me. It arrived at my place within a couple of days. The owner's friendly and cheerful attitude made me feel welcome. His customer service is second to none. I highly recommend staying at Narrandera caravan park.

Reviewed By Westan JWe stayed one night July 9th, the room was very clean, comfortable and warm. Bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. I didn’t hear and traffic. The motel owner was a friendly helpful gentleman. I’d have no hesitation recommending this Motel. Great value for money.

Narrandera was fully booked and we wanted to stop driving before dark, so we were lucky to get the last room at the Grong Grong Motor Inn. The room was very clean with two single beds that were so comfortable. We had a lovely home cooked meal by Mark’s wife and we slept well as the motel was off the Highway. Would recommend this value for money motel.

Highly recommend staying here if you appreciate comfortable and affordable accommodation with excellent service, close to shops/cafes/restaurants. Sure beats staying in plain and predictable motels. A memorable stay & can’t wait to return in the near future with my wife.
