Very clean facility, staff were warm and welcoming in the restaurant, check in was average in the evening but the check out experience this morning made up for it. Room had great view, Bed was comfortable Tv was a little dated if I was to be picky Food was amazing, Dinner 10/10 breakfast was nice it could have been a bit warmer though because it was very chilly this morning. This was a quick trip for work commitments and I’ll be back. Thank you team

I arrived late at night to discover my booking had been cancelled with no notice or notification. There were no rooms remaining. I was a solo female traveller in an unknown city and I was offered no assistance, just told repeatedly there was nothing they could do. Spoke to GM Jeremy who attempted to lay blame and mansplain the situation - Jeremy I don’t care how it happened, just fix it! Upon coercion they finally found me a new, much better, hotel - highly recommend Oaks at Redcliffe. I will ensure no one from my company ever stays here again, you shouldn’t risk it either!

Great service and views

Stayed 3 nights before weather turned bad! As Platinum ACCOR members we were upgraded to a lovely room. Spacious, clean, nice balcony with bay views. All the staff were so obliging and professional. The restaurant provided excellent food but would recommend you book in advance as it is popular. There is a nice pool and Roof Terrace however due to weather we did not use. Would be perfect on a good day. Would highly recommend The Sebel Margate and we hope to stay again some day.

Disappointing customer experience

Reviewed By AprilMartin1

I specifically asked my company to book me here for a business trip because of the raving reviews. I was disappointed in how Leanne does business. I had a booking, had to cancel due to weather event and I made a courtesy call within the 24 cancellation timeframe to let her know I wasn’t coming. My company rebooked and she said there was a double booking. Company says they formally canceled. She still charged my employer even after she said on the phone she wouldn’t because it was due to a weather event. Can’t say what my employer will do but I won’t be back. My next trip to Caboolture I’ll make sure I’m not booked here. Not the sort of people I like to do business with.

Terrific Hospitality!

Whilst recommending La Vida On Anzac recently to an interstate couple, I realized that I had not submitted a review for this excellent establishment. My wife and I took out a 6 month lease to enable us to purchase a local property at our leisure. The second floor, 2 bedroom apartment was perfect with two balconies facing north and west. The apartment was clean, neat and tidy with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. La Vida's location is unbeatable. It is located across the road to a local mall including a Woolworths supermarket. Another minutes walk puts you on the beach and the entire range of restaurants and shops on the main Redcliffe esplanade. One of the unforgetable aspects of a stay at La Vida is the wonderful, friendly hospitality of the managers and staff. Having such comfortable accommodation with friendly hosts made the relocating to the city from the country a stress-free exercise. We have been recommending La Vida ever since we left. Thank you Jill, Mark and Kim!!!

Money hungry Grubs

The manager/ owner of this establishment is disgusting. They called me late Friday night of my “booking” enquiring as to where I was. I stated I had cancelled my booking with Wotif two days after I booked it. She told me I booked through Expedia. I said no it was Wotif. I had to google to point out that they were affiliated. I spoke with Wotif and explained the situation. Wotif contacted the property and the representative indicated very clearly that one day would be charged to me as my error and I would get one night back. As I had had a traumatic week something which I provided details of to the property. I agreed as I should have double checked. 3 weeks later I still haven’t received my money and so I contact Wotif again who tell me the property is refusing and that I told them I forgot my booking. What a crock of sh!t. Needless to say I have lodged a complaint with the ACCC and I am in discussion with my bank. Don’t stay where people are dodgy as they come. It’s not worth it.

NOT " LUXURY APARTMENTS ".

Reviewed By W3142JJlukem

Initially very helpful sorting out accommodation due to our flood affected house getting repaired, stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment the first night of a 2 week booking only to have the wife and one of the kids constantly sneezing due to all the dust on all surfaces, all chested drawers stunk , dust/ dirt and mould was all over all the blinds, there was colony of spiders outside on the balcony that had been there for months, no starter pack for the kitchen was supplied ( dishwasher liquid , tea towels ,chux cloth). The beds were all like concrete slabs. The next day we had the cleaners come back to clean it only for them to say it was cleaned up the hotel standards . After multiple conversations with management they agreed we could leave and be refunded for the remaining time booked, 3 weeks later we are still trying to get the money back from them. "LUXERY APARTMENTS " is a massive overstatement.

Light crowd, ordered dinner about 6.30pm. Three meals ordered, the food is "pub average" except for the spagetti dish which was undercooked pasta (heaps of it) on a thin white water base, with sprinkles of bacon chips to represent cabonara, left it, went home for dinner - dont say we didnt warn you.
