Great view and hospitality with modern amenities
Reviewed By CanIGoWithYouWhen we got stranded on Matsu due to foggy weather and needed to find a place to stay, everyone recommended Dayspring right away. It is expensive (but not by a lot comparing to other options), but we sure glad we were able to get the last room of the property. Dayspring is far away from the airport, the ferry terminal, and most shopping and dining options. But in exchange it was serenity, excellent view, and hospitality. When we arrived late in the night, the staff at the front desk helpfully provided a brief tour of the property and information on how to cope with flight cancellations. The room was not spacious but very cozy. The corner bathroom is fitted with modern amenities and supposedly excellent view. The bed was quite comfortable, and I'm sure we would enjoy the deck if the weather was nice. The internet was fast but not encrypted. The only complaint I have is that the previous guests supposedly had a late checkout (also due to flight cancellations) and the staff did not check the room afterward, which gave us the uncomfortable experience of walking into a used bathroom. Given the hectic situation of the day, it was understandable, but hopefully the hotel would improve on this. If we visit Nangan in the future, I would choose this property again and being hopeful under better weather.

Superb Location and Family

We located at the convenient street of the Nangan city, Matsu. There are a 24/7 store next door, traditional market with traditional Matsu food and a bus station across from us. Only take 8 minutes to Nangan Airport or Nangan Fuao Harbor. You are very welcome to come to stay and experience the beauty of Matsu.

Reviewed By li11740非常棒的體驗！民宿位置位於馬祖南竿到精華地段，附近有7-11、介壽獅子市場等，吃東西完全不會困擾。民宿老闆娘非常熱情，除了機場接送外，面對初來乍到的我們一堆問題都能詳細說明，並幫忙解決，可以直接跟民宿租借機車，連加油都可在民宿完成，對於自由行來說實在太方便！連我們要去北竿，老闆娘都可讓我們把機車停放在南竿碼頭，然後我們搭船到北竿遊玩，回南竿之後即可再搭乘機車回飯店，完全無後顧之憂，真的非常感謝！一定會推薦親朋好友來入住！

Reviewed By yskuo馬祖北竿芹壁為許7多人推薦的住宿區域，其實橋仔村離芹8壁不遠，也同樣位在海邊，或許建築物不若芹壁的石頭屋有特色，但要住的舒服，可以考慮一下這間民宿。 民宿位在橋仔村最尾端，提供機場及碼頭的接送服務。附近雖有小吃店及商店，但選擇不多。民宿的老闆娘建議吃飯還是要到北竿機場附近的塘岐村，不過，說實在話，塘岐村是整個北竿唯一有像樣市集的地區，也是唯一較佳的選擇。 民宿房間挺新的，面積尚可，備品完善。 一個人的早餐蛋餅、餛飩湯加咖啡，好吃兼滿足！

Very Cool Hostel (Albeit an Inconvenient Location)!
Reviewed By EmergingMarketSkptcVery cool hostel! The only drawback is the location IF you don’t have a motorbike (I had to take a TWD200 cab to get there until I learned the bus schedule/stops). You can get around on public buses, BUT they don’t leave early enough to catch the earliest ferries to outlying islands + you have to walk down/up a big hill w/ the bus stop above the town where the ferries are. I went during winter time - hardly any other tourist was staying here + just one restaurant would be open in the nearby village (no English menu + get there before the family closes up shop for the night). To walk there at night in winter, you need a flashlight/mobile phone charged as there is a short stretch of road/boardwalk that’s really dark. There is someone there who speaks passable English as I was messaging him on Facebook for tips on visiting (as most info is in Chinese since westerners don’t come here). There was one toilet stall/urinals + one shower for men – not really enough if the place were full. Internet worked best in common areas (thick walls in the dorms) + there is a simple do it yourself breakfast (toasts etc I just wish they had better variety for tea/coffee) + a very friendly lap cat ;) Now that I know how the buses work + where the bus stops are, I would not rule out coming again to Matsu when its warm (better weather as its cold and damp when there is no sunshine in winter) when blue tear appears and staying here again – they built a nice boardwalk all along the road the hostel is on so people can see the tear.

津沙村の伝統家屋に泊まる
Reviewed By taro2015お部屋は狭いですがアジがあります。青い涙ツアーを毎晩開催していて3日間参加しましたが、運悪く見ることは出来ませんでした。でも白い星沙は近くの砂浜でいっぱい見れました。みんなで見れて楽しかった。そして宿のご夫婦はとても親切。ケーキや島のお菓子を頂いたり、島唄をかけてくださったり、本当に居心地の良い宿でした。

Next to the hotel, there's a local market you can find tasty local breakfast. Hotel also offer free pick up/drop off between harbor and airport. 位置在介壽村，附近購物用餐很方便。服務人員態度友善，房間寬敞明亮。

Excellent stay with a super nice host
Reviewed By GuaiziTravelled solo and stayed for a night here. Free pickup and dropoff from the ferry terminal. Room was spacious and tidy. I told the owner I was not comfortable riding a scooter in Dongyin because of the hilly terrain and strong winds. I was hoping they could help arrange a taxi or rental car but he ended up taking me around in his own car for a nominal fee to cover gas. What more can a solo traveller ask for? I think he has time to do this because it is the low season but still he could have just arranged a taxi for me which would have costed way more money.
