The foor is good! the dive shop Gypsea Divers is always great to use... very patient and helpful! I've brought many friends and everyone who has ever come with me, doesn't want to leave. Chilaquiles con pollo y verde sause is muy perfecto! Coffee in the morning is hot and fresh and everything is low key! the perfect place for R&R if R&R is what you are looking for. Thanks to everyone there for my past experiences and can't wait to meet any new faces on upcoming trip! Thanks Evan!

Reviewed By hcbfloridaWe did the day pass for 2 coming from the Costa Maya cruise port. It was like $100 for one adult and 1 child with drinks, lunch and taxis included. This place is like paradise. The are so few people here and the view is amazing. There is a lot of sea grass, but people do work on raking it up. If you can swim out beyond it, the reef is really nice. Just pass the buoy is a good reef. It's pretty close to shore and really decent for a swim to reef. We brought our own snorkel gear. The drinks were good - I only had beer but other people had mixed drinks and were happy. There's a small pool as well is you don't want to walk over the sea grass. The food was really good. Homemade guacamole. Nachos and tacos. The owner made sure our return taxi was on time. The wifi was strong. I would absolutely do this again when we're back in Costa Maya. Oh and no one selling services or trinkets along the beach.

Reviewed By Jopie7777The staff is very friendly and the food and drinks are excellent. We have been eating and drinking here for the past 3 nights. We tried Pizza, fish, and a lot of very nice Tequila's and cocktails. Highly recommend.

Clean and Quiet
Reviewed By SiderealTimeClean and quiet. Our room opened onto the inner courtyard with a sliding glass door, there is no window. AC worked well, the bathroom was quite large, lots of hot water. The room was very small with nowhere to sit except on the bed. A few chairs along the balcony above the courtyard would be nice. Across the street from ADO bus and collectivo stop. A couple of minutes walk to the waterfront with all its restaurants, beach clubs and entertainment.

Que horrible musica
Reviewed By jorgemacias1Visite mahahual el fin de semana con mi familia y dejé la habitación el lunes, quiera quedarme más tiempo pero desgraciadamente parece que solo saben escuchar música de regueton que no es música para la playa o para ir a descansar, entiendo que sea el lugar de trabajo para los que ahí laboran y que no les guste más que ese tipo de música, pero creo que tienen que pensar más en sus clientes, nosotros vamos a descansar de la rutina y del estrés. El día lunes todo el día pusieron eso y no hace más que hartar sinceramente. Le recomendaría a los dueños poner más atención en la calidad musical que ofrecen en su espacio de playa. Para escuchar ese tipo de música hay lugares y creo que el descanso en la playa no es posible con esa música

The tents are nice the bedding is a foam mattress that’s not very thick so if you have a hard time sleeping maybe bring extra blankets! For me it was not an issue but I can sleep anywhere!

We didn’t want to leave Mahahual. It has such a nice vibe, beautiful white sand beach and the perfect color of the sea! The hotel has a prime location, right on the beachfront, just a few steps from the bus terminal. It has its own section of the beach with its sun beds and a restaurant. The staff were really lovely and everything was amazing. We highly recommend this hotel in Mahahual.

All prices are mde for rich americans, they treat everybody like a money bag if you are just wite. not going there again.
