The facilities are always clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed our breakfast overlooking the sea.

Reviewed By Taffod_JHad to stay here a week, under covid restrictions had to eat at hotel, they have no respect or understanding of modern dietary requirements, I'm a vegetarian, not a fussy one , I've had stomach surgery so can process it, just no meat, it's easy, NO MEAT. I battled in my mind with the frustration of how the hotel can get it wrong consistently. Almost every meal brought to room was wrong , reason almost always , "someone else took it" , had to give my room number to reception several times, they had a system in place that you collect breakfast and lunch, dinner is delivered but it's different every day. Some staff would deliver lunch , same excuses, someone took the vegetarian, how can someone take my meal if you're delivering it !!!! Her solution was to give me 2 meat sandwiches to make one vegetarian?????? I mean , wtf !!!! . So beware Vegans & vegetarians , self cater with Netto across the street, if you're an ethical vegan and don't accept animal products mixing or even touching your food you have no hope , my first breakfast it was suggested I "eat around" the bacon ? Just tucking into final breakfast , refrigerated sprouts , nuts and jam ???? With last night's vegetables . It's easy NO MEAT , egg, cheese , milk is fine , not a vegan , NO MEAT it's 2021 ......AND IT A HOTEL THAT DOESN'T UNDERSTAND NO MEAT !!!!!! To not leave on it all being bad, there were 2 helpful guys there , a young guy who I believe was the chef and a young lady , they understood what vegetarian meant and genuinely looked appalled and frustrated.

Med en beliggenhed midt i byen, og blot et stenkast fra Koge torv, har Central Hotellets gaester rig mulighed for at nyde Koge Bys mange hyggelige cafeer, gode restauranter, biograf, butikker og meget mere. Hotellet har I 2013 abnet en hyggelig cafe (Cafeen) med brod, kager og tapas pa menuen, bestemt et besog vaerd, tjek menukort og abningstider pa hjemmesiden.
A nice little hotel right in the center
Reviewed By COCS_1965-05-14You can't stay closer to the center than this. The hotel is old and small, but well maintained and cozy. We have stayed here twice. The first time in the old house (the room was small and not good, but very clean) and the second time in an extension behind (this was significantly better and bigger with the patio). The breakfast was nothing special, but perfectly ok - with its own freshly baked bread, various good toppings, boiled eggs, yogurt and various drinks. The hotel has its own small parking, but it is very narrow and not recommended. Instead, park somewhere nearby - there are free spots here and there and not far to walk. There are several restaurants around - feel free to ask the hotel for advice.

Better accommodation in 3rd world countries
Reviewed By flaviatorWhile I rarely write a one star review (less than 5% of my reviews), there are instances where I must advise my fellow travelers of the most unsatisfactory circumstances resulting in this poor establishment. We researched extensively the options of where to stay for our two nights in this extended area. Though this was not our first choice, we felt it would be okay. Boy were we mistaken. On so many fronts!!! This house contains 4 outlying rooms, each with its own separate entrance. There is a distance of 25 feet to the edge of the pasture where the cows roam. Thus, as soon as you get out of your car, you are inundated with the smell of cow dung. We arrived at 6pm, and upon entry into our room, which was stifling hot due to the sun heating up the room, as a greenhouse, we opened the only window to provide some ventilation. However, as there was only one window that actually opened, and as it measured only 16” x 12”, we were forced to keep the entry door open, potentially allowing the cat which roams the property to enter our room. Our room was dirty, full of spider webs, and poorly provisioned. We wanted to take a shower, but there wasn’t any soap or shampoo!!! We went out to dinner and upon returning, we collapsed onto the bed, uncovered, due to the heat. The next morning, I boiled water in the kettle to make instant coffee, but no sugar or creamer!!! The owner brought a tray for breakfast to our room at the appointed time. The best part of the breakfast were the warm rolls. She apologized for the lack of creamer, soap, etc, and immediately provided a container of shampoo and conditioner, advising me that all Danes use shampoo for body wash. Okay, I’m willing to adapt. The shower and toilet are in one tiny room, measured 3 feet x 4 feet. The only sink was in the main room, yet no mirror for me to shave. After seeing the generally dirty condition of the room, and the mold on the door, I never felt comfortable with the comforter on the bed, as I had no confidence it had been cleaned after the last guest. One positive that was appreciated was the good speed and connection of the wifi!! I have traveled all over the world, and this place is worse than most places I've stayed in third world countries. See photos I’ve taken. Hopefully the owner will take heed of my comments and improve her accommodation for her future guests.

Friendly Hostel , Great Staff, Lovely Town
Reviewed By PairADoxCycleOff the beaten track but you can go to the Centrum and Strand by bike in ten minutes . Staff was very pleasant, spoke English very well . Beds were comfortable and with trundle bed we had a lovely double bed . Bathroom was basic but clean . Can not understand why the shower enclosures do not have a bottom curb to hold the water within the shower enclosure but throughout Denmark they do not . Quite messy , wet and disturbing . Room was quite large with en-suite bathroom . Breakfast also was basic but had a number of choices that were good . Warm rolls make the breakfast complete . Made us feel at home . Bike storage was undercover.

Reviewed By 659mettekMødte op på aftalt tidspunkt, men der var ingen værelse i vores navn. Vi var lovet et bestemt værelse, men det var udlejet til andre. Vi havde bestilt lang tid i forvejen. Havde kørt næsten 400 km, så det var virkelig irriterende, ikke at kunne få et værelse. Det værste var at indehaveren virkede nærmest ligeglad, og vi fik den fornemmelse, at det sikkert var sket flere gang. Skød bare ansvaret fra sig, og sagde at det nok var en ansat, der havde taget imod besked! Bestil ALDRIG værelse her, hvis du vil være sikker på at få det lovede!!!

Stå op med håndværkerne
Reviewed By MoellegaardenVærelserne på Motel Søvilla fremstår slidte, men sengetøj og håndklæder er nye og rene. Værelserne med eget bad er delvis renoveret og har klart en bedre standard end værelserne med fælles bad og toilet. Der bor mange udenlandske håndværkere på motellet, som tydeligvis møder tidligt. Da der samtidig er meget lydt, var der en kontinuerlig larm af døre, der smækkede og højlydt snakken kl 5.30 og igen kl 6.30. Man må således forvente at blive vækket tidligt på hverdage. Motellet er ok til en enkelt overnatning; men til længere ophold vil man nok foretrække noget, der er lidt mere hyggeligt. Værten er venlig og imødekommende. Hunde kan medbringes uden problemer.

Bed.... senza breakfast!
Reviewed By alberto_e_martinaLa struttura è molto confortevole, nuova e pulita. Non ci sono chiavi, ma solo un codice che si digita accanto alla porta. Un bel campo da golf nelle vicinanze, e le tranquillità della campagna tutto attorno, quindi è consigliabile avere un proprio mezzo di trasporto. Purtroppo non viene servita la colazione, ma in camera c è un bollitore, piatti, posate ecc. quindi è piacevole comprare qualcosa e consumarlo al mattino.
