Dear guests, Our family café and guesthouse is located in a tiny street near the main square of Kaplice, a South Bohemian town close to the Austrian border. At Christmas 2016 we opened the door of this unique renovated old house, whose foundations date back to the Middle Ages, to share the atmosphere hidden within its walls with our guests. Come and enjoy a cup of our coffee from RITUALE CAFFÈ roastery and our homemade desserts (some of them gluten-free). You can sit and chat, read, create, play and, most importantly, enjoy this beautiful space in a forgotten corner of Kaplice. The Café is also an art gallery. We must also not forget to invite you to our garden, where in the sun or under the stars, you will lose track of time.

Just OK - could do a lot better
Reviewed By Danno_99Corona represents fair value for money in the area. I paid 30 Eur for a single room (and was given a triple). Some good points but fails in too many others – closer to a two/three star hotel than the official four. Corona is right in the middle of the town/village (of Kaplice) – the town square is a few steps away, with a few cafes and shops. The hotel has (at a cost of 50 Kc a day) its own parking, but down the raod – about 50 yards away. The hotel has no lift – so if you’re on the second floor (as I was) be prepared for some heavy lifting. There is also no a/c (room had a couple of fans), and the heating was off (even though it got a little chilly at night). My room was quite clean and new-ish, beds comfortable. Enough storage space, enough power sockets, lighting was good – reading lamps and yellow lights. Large-ish flat screen TV, no English channels, HDMI input. Also had a minibar fridge which was nice. Wifi was terrible. Kept cutting out, or working horribly slowly. Could not even open speedtest to measure speed. Staff either did not understand or could not help – it seemed that English was difficult for them. Breakfast was not great but not bad – some cold meats and cheeses, cereals, scrambled eggs and sausages/beans, coffee machine and juice, bread. Apparently the hotel read the reviews about the sweet juices - There's also a gym and a spa - did not have time to try.

Hájenka je po rekonstrukci, v objektu 10 apartmánů, samostatná místnost pro spaní a stolování, dále vybavený kuchyňský kout a prostorná koupelna s WC. Vše vzorně čisté.Možno objednat snídaně - vynikající, Paní majitelka přinesla až na pokoj - šunka, vejce, palačinky, sýry. V objektu možnost půjčení kol, dále možnost vlastního grilování, prolézačky pro děti apod.Místo pro cyklistické a autovýlety do okolí - Novohradsko, Český Krumlov, Dobrá voda, Vyšší Brod. Zkrátka doporučuji na 100 %.

Penzion Vinicky dvůr enjoys a secluded location, 5 km from Kaplice. The historic stone house provides free Wi-Fi in the dining room and offers a small outdoor swimming pool. A spa area with a sauna and treatment rooms is open from September until June. The provided units come with wooden floorings, a TV and a bathroom with a shower or a bathtub. A kitchenette is featured in the apartments. Half board is available on request. Free private parking is possible at the Vinicky dvůr guest house and cross-country skiing trails start on site. UNESCO-protected Český Krumlov is a 20-minute drive away and Omlenice is 2.5 km away. A shuttle service from and to Omlenice is available on request.

Bohužel jsme narazili kromě kladů i na dost záporů, souhrn níže Začnu klady: prostředí, budova i pokoje jsou velice krásné. Je vidět že majitelé odvedli obrovský kus práce při renovaci. Všichni jsou také vždy ochotni podělit se s vámi o tipy na zajímavé výlety v okolí. Bohužel jsme našli ale i dost záporů, které nám pobyt znepříjemnili a kvůli tomu už bychom asi znovu nepřijeli: při příjezdu okamžitě požadavek na předplacení celého pobytu, zvláštní... ale budiž. Po příchodu na pokoj byla relativně zima, na pokoji bylo několik druhů topení, nicméně bylo vše vypnuté, ale to asi také úplně nevadilo. Wi-fi na pokoji opravdu slabá a nic moc ani TV - kvůli tomu jsme ale nepřijeli, takže také nevadilo, prostor pro vylepšení zde ale určitě je. Co ale bylo nejhorší je snídaně. Zaplatili jsme si ji také hned při příjezdu na celý pobyt, ale to byla velká chyba. Na snídani jsme přišli v devět hodin a bylo nám řečeno že jsme poslední, takže musí vše doplnit. Doplněno bylo po cca 15 minutách, ale opravdu velice skromně, bohužel ne všechno bylo úplně čerstvé. Stejný scénář se opakoval každý den, velmi pozvolné doplňování už tak skromného výběru a o vše jste si museli říci. Musím se shodnout s předchozími recenzemi. Je to škoda, protože si tím majitelé zbytečně kazí jméno.

Reviewed By alenan900we spent three nights in this hotel and it was a paradise on earth - great, quiet location, creative design of the hotel, good food (we cooked for ourselves so i am really praising our head chef here but still:) i definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to do yoga in the morning in the freshly cut grass and listen to the birds, relax and enjoy themselves in all ways possible:) the new manager of the hotel is super friendly and always helpful im very excited about going back!

Avoid the restaurant like a plaque
Reviewed By FLnurseERMost awful and terribly expensive breakfast, we will never return although we are visiting in this region for several months. The cappuccino is served from a machine, I guess it was drinkable. Ordered eggs sunny side up, what came out of the kitchen was a complete disaster, the eggs were completely burned, I am talking about black pieces falling off. They were returned to the kitchen, second attempt was a complete copy (perhaps same eggs?) and we did not eat them and left. The price for this whole fiasco - for 2 adults, 1 child and 1 baby was 30 euros, absolutely insane. Too upset to take a photo, had a baby with us.
