An Average Hotel in need of significant Management and Staff Training
Reviewed By James FThe location of the hotel is right on a clean sandy beach. 1. The wifi was poor to fair. 2. The hotel seems to cater for mainly Brazilian guests, and therefore none of the staff spoke English or Spanish. This proved to be problematic,, particularly for an elderly lady from Argentina, who only spoke Spanish. She suffered a fall, dislocating her shoulder and cutting her knee. The hotel staff were unable to deal with the situation in a responsive way. The fact that the hotel did not have a first aid kit, to dress and clean her cut was disgraceful. Only the hotel manager could authorize the purchase of products to clean and dress the cut. Fortunately, one of my party was able to communicate in Portuguese and Spanish, and was able to assist the lady obtaining her medical insurance and accompanying her to hospital. 3. Breakfast was average, and the lack of a toaster was not good. Additionally, this is the first Brazilian hotel I have stayed in, where there was no member of the catering staff, producing one of the staple breakfast products - Tapioca. 4. A guest that had ordered room service, left the serving tray and partially eaten food outside their room and next to the lift. The tray remained there overnight and was still there at mid-day.

The BUGAN Paiva a hotel ideal for both business trips and leisure, and an excellent choice for wedding night and honeymoon. The hotel has restaurant, lobby bar, fitness center and sauna, besides having all the apartments with amazing view to the sea. The coverage is a separate attraction with swimming pool with infinite edge and panoramic view. The hotel also offers a spacious foyer, ideal for small exhibitions, cocktails, presentations, coffee breaks, expositions, among other events, private parking and a lounge for events and conventions.
Great facility but poor management at a cheap price
Reviewed By Cannuck1964This well decorated hotel is new and located in an up-and-coming neighborhood. There are some flaws in the design and obviously the architect or interior designer prioritized looks over functionality and is not a frequent traveler. Examples include the fact the AC blows cold air directly over you in bed, there is no sink in the toilet area (the only sink is far). The rate includes breakfast and even if it fluctuates based on demand it is very affordable. You would think they could charge twice as much……. until you see how poorly managed that hotel is. It is annoying actually: the in-room safe did not work; the curtains fell off the rail (there was not stop at the end) and the housekeeper left it broken, there is no paper basket by the sink; the water in the sink didn’t drain; internet is unreliable; there were countless micro ants in the room; there was no pen in the room (to complete the laundry paperwork). Talking about laundry… hey I understand the need to save the planet but PREVIOUSLY USED plastic laundry bags is a little too much. Room Service only brings the plate you ordered (not even on a tray). Finally, I had problems with the AC in the room over a few days, making it freezing cold and turning it off in the middle of the night. While I called the front desk and the maintenance person showed up, they did not identify the problem correctly and I spent another night cold initially (and baked alive later). When I called them again the next day, it took the maintenance person over one hour to show up to finally realize I had to be moved to another room as the AC was beyond repair. Surprise: the next room smelled sewage. What is management thinking….?!?

Reviewed By terotHaving stayed for three nights at the wonderful new TRYP Pernambuco, and having heard wonderful recommendations from our friends, we decided to stay for four nights at Golden Beach Flats. Checking in we were told that they would accept cash only. And we would need to pay up front. Service at the front desk was very good and polite, and the valet service was very nice too. But...when we entered our room, we were less than thrilled. For starters, the toilet did not flush. We probably could have lived with that for a while, but when we found small white worms in the bed, it was too much for us. We were happy that they did not have any other rooms, because we just wanted to leave. The service at the front desk was very polite again, and they returned our money without any questions. I have to say that the view from the fifth floor towards the Ocean was very nice. The white beach and the blue water as well as the nice pool looked very good, but it was just too much to have to share your bed with worms. A lot has to change that we would even consider staying at this hotel again. We packed our bags and headed out to a nice clean hotel at Boa Viagem.

The famous square of Boa Viagem is 7 km and the beautiful beach of Porto de Galinhas is just 50 minutes by car. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, microwave and refrigerator.
Lo mejor de studio 51 es que la playa queda a una cuadra.
Reviewed By jorge cLa habitación es muy sencilla pero cuenta con todo lo necesario. También destacó la limpieza. La playa nos quedaba a 1 cuadra lo que nos permitió disfrutarla varias horas. Tiene 2 supermercados que nos quedaban en cada una de las esquinas de studio 51

O Costa Mar Recife Hotel está em frente à belíssima praia de Piedade, em Jaboatão dos Guararapes e é uma ótima opção de hospedagem para toda a família, especialmente pela excelente estrutura de lazer e entretenimento, assim como para o público corporativo, dado o grande número de eventos que a capital pernambucana recebe anualmente.

Reviewed By Kristyna KThis hotel is situated right on the beach. It has a nice little swimming pool with a bar. The room i occupied was a little dated but ok except for the shower being tepid. It was fixed 3 days into stay. The electricity was erratic ! No Wi-Fi in room. Good computer room. Health suite limited. Breakfast was ok and the one evening meal i had was fine. The desk staff did not speak English except for the night staff! One of whom, Victor, was brilliant with helping me when Air Europa lost my luggage- without him it would not have arrived on day 4!! As a hotel by the beach it served its purpose and was fine. Nice little shop selling beach wear, clothing and souvenirs in main foyer Would i stay there again...yes.
