Pros and Cons
Reviewed By Greg_Dianne_McWe stayed here for 3 nights during a visit to our son who lives in Parma. The hotel offers some nice features, but also has some areas that fall a little short. Pros - Easy access to the main roads - Free parking and the indoor swimming pool are a plus. - Elevators were conveniently located and were quiet and quick - Decent amount of seating at the breakfast/lobby area - King bed was extremely comfortable - Couch area separate from sleeping area is great for watching tv in the evening - Large flat screen tv - guessing 50+ inch. Remote was protected in plastic sleeve - nice touch during pandemic - Friendly and helpful staff - when checking in we were given a list of nearby restaurants - The bathroom sink is separate from the toilet/shower - Free wifi - In room fridge was decent size and kept items consistently cold. Cons - Temp control in the room was impossible to maintain. The AC either ran super cold or turned off after you fall asleep, making the room stuffy and warm in the middle of the night. The sensor for energy savings turns the system off during the day if people aren't sensed in the room. Don't sit too still reading a book or the air will cut off. - Outdated electrical outlets in the room - had to climb under the night table to unplug the clock to have an open outlet for our phone charger. Tried charging at the "bar area" in the room, but the GFI kept tripping and turning off after about 30 seconds. The wiring for the tv was haphazard - an open box and such that did not look like it would have been safe if kids or pets were curious. Lastly, the desk area did not have any on-desk plug-ins for laptop or phone charging - would have been nicer than having to go under the desk. - The couch, while nice to have, was made of some sort of fake nylon material and made rude "fart noises" every time you shifted on it. I laughed, but my wife found it ridiculous and even a little disruptive as she tried to sleep while I stayed up to read. Honestly - it was the couch. Not me. - The shower is very pretty, but super narrow. My wife is normal sized and she kept banging her elbows. I'm a large man and I had trouble not rubbing up against the walls or glass doors. - The closet is ridiculously narrow too - don't even try fitting your carry-on suitcase in there on the folding stand - While breakfast is free, it was essentially the same thing each morning. The waffle maker was off one day and didn't work properly the other days. Hard boiled eggs were frozen in the middle. Only Trix flavored yogurt offered. Lastly, we went down the first morning an hour before the end-time and the choices were extremely picked over and they made no effort to restock. We made sure to go earlier the next mornings and get the food while it was available. - No real restaurant within walking distance. The hotel claims an onsite restaurant, but due to staffing it was not open during our visit. The bar even seemed to be closed. - No hot tub. A picky item - but a disappointment after a day of travel not to have a hot soak. Other - Taxes and fees amounted to an additional $25 per night - No vending machines - but can purchase food and drinks at the "store" behind the check-in desk. - Room servicing is by appointment only. If you wish your trash emptied, it must be placed in hall before 9am. The walk to breakfast can get a little gross. Overall - Not a bad hotel, we enjoyed the spaciousness of the room

Reviewed By William MMy wife and I need a king sized bed and a walk in shower, not only were neither of these there, there none in the whole hotel! Breakfast was ok but all choices were cold. Coffee was ok.. bedding was pathetic. We will never step foot in a NOME w 2 again.

Reviewed By cjorda778826Clean and comfortable beds. Customer service was greatly appreciated. No complaints here. Suggest more breakfast options. Only served waffles. Maybe cereal, milk, juice or bottled water even. I really, a decent hotel, close to everything. We visit often and this may be our usual spot.

Clean, except for the room refrigerator

I used points to book the room and was surprised when I was required to put $35+ on my charge card. She didn't seem to know what that particular charge was for. I indicated that when I have used points to book a room that everything was covered. Sometimes a hold is put on my card for incidentals. She left a note for the manager who called me the next morning. The room was clean, but the refrigerator was definitely not cleaned and had residue from whatever was left in the fridge. I was able to clean it in the sink so I could put my items in side. I left the shelving on the outside of the fridge so housekeeping would see that it needed cleaning. Breakfast was adequate and i was able to chat with the manager. The pool was closed...good thing I didn't try to go down and use it!

Reviewed By violetrose737I really enjoyed my stay on the Premium Floor. I had a fantastic view of Downtown, Cleveland by Day and Top Golf by night. The room is a suite and I loved the separation of the bedroom and living area. The Common Area has many places to sit and hang out. The restaurant is decorated quite nice and the menu has a variety of items. The staff is friendly and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. I stayed long-term and will be back for another stay!
