Reviewed By Francois CInfrastructure is not a strong point in Imperatriz. The area is developing but still poor and in dire need of major capital investments. That applies to hotels in the city. Posseidon does not offer outstanding luxury, but it seems to be better funded than other places. It is clean, safe and enjoyable. Location is very central. The breakfast is nice and food quality is above average. The gym is tiny, but there are 2 functioning treadmills and an elliptical machine + a few free standing weights. It may not be the best value hotel you'll ever stay in, but staying anywhere else would be a whole different experience that I would not recommend if you're travelling on business or if you are used to "Western Standards".

Terrible stay
Reviewed By marianarl2019It was a 5-night booking that turned out to be for one night only. The bedrooms have no A/C, no blinds and are terribly noisy. The breakfast was one of the worst I have ever had. We asked for a reimbursement of the remaining 4 nights and we only received half of the originals booking.

We are a hotel with the convenience of 135 apartments are located next to the best shopping of the city, just 5 minutes from the airport .10 minutes from the bus station, 7 minutes from the city centre.

Reviewed By Marijn vThe location next to the highway of Imperatriz is great, but it can get noisy because of this. Especially if you go to the pool what is next to the road. Next to the hotel there is a shopping center. Room is good, nothing to add on that part. Sevice of the hotel is good. Breakfast is great, a lot of choices. Almost no one of the staff speaks English unfortunatly.

Reviewed By ireland_timothyIbis Hotels are normally very dependable in terms of standards. This one is above the average. The rooms are bigger and it is modern and has a clean feeling about it. Two things I did not appreciate. There was no hot water. There was a note of apology in the lift about this but you don't expect it to happen in a large chain of hotels. Secondly, I checked in on line before arriving which I thought was an excellent novelty. However, the guy who arrived with me at 01h45 hadn't so I had to wait just the same. The room was perfectly adequate and the breakfast reasonable. One piece of advice, the Ibis beer is good but not worth paying 15 reais.
