Reviewed By Juan PThis was a very nice surprise in the city of Huanuco with this very nice hotel in the central location. It has an elevator which is very convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is modern and spacious. I give it five stars.

Decent for the price
Reviewed By Steve GWhile this hotel doesn't pretend to be special, it was clean and spacious enough for a couple, and relatively quiet except for the garbage disposal truck one morning which played loud music. The rooms were big enough for two and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was basic, and in our case, prepared before we arrived one morning, which meant the eggs were cold. They apparently made up for that the next morning by serving us breakfast in our room. The night staff is friendlier than the day staff. The location is not particularly close to town, but one can easily get to the center by 'moto-taxi' for 2 soles. There's incense burning when you enter the lobby. One nice feature--we arrived at 7 am and they let us in the room at that time, then gave us directions to a nice place for breakfast. If you're on a budget, this is a good place to stay.

Reviewed By lwarner03Very nice hotel, close to the plaza de armas, comfortable rooms, amenities and good breakfast. Very nice, helpful staff. Can’t wait to return. These details may sound funny but many places don’t offer them so: The toilet had a seat, there was hot water, there was toilet paper, there was a nice fan if it got hot, they have great wifi and there are outlets for your phone. All the creature comforts I didn’t know I could miss.

Worst service experience ever in a hotel!
Reviewed By worldtraveler201891We travel on vacation very much and never write reviews - but this deserved a complain. We parked our car early, at exact location indicated upon arrival. At 6:50AM!!! Phone call asking us if we owned another car (not ours) - our reply:No 7:05AM!!!! Knock on door asking to move our car, because they could not find owner of another car that was blocking other cars!! Nothing to do with our car and we needed to move ours!!!! AT 7AM??!!! We were not about to get out of bed for this, they took car key. With this, will complete review; food = poor. Wi-Fi=POOR. We had to ask to come fix A/C; to stop noise from repairs on floors above us; we had to ask for towels - they had One set towels for 2 people. Imagine if you are here to work- you do not care for food or being woken @6AM But as a stop for vacation road trip - stop elsewhere!

Pick up this only if you don't mind informality
Reviewed By OscarGLimaI was put there because I came to this city for a conference. Location good at the Plaza de Armas but... that was a time when school children had a regional meeting so the place was full of kids. Nothing wrong that they come but that was the pretext for the staff to not get things done. They blame their presence for three days of internet outage, saying that they were not used to such many people. Then I asked, so, do you prefer that few people come to your hotel? The first day of this internet outage they promised me that a technician was solving the problem. They said the same to me for the three days. The internet never came back. They don't have AC, so you have a fan in the room. Curious thing, if you want to plug the fan you had to disconnect the TV. So I asked for an adapter (Three times I have to call them in one day!). One day I call the front desk to place a call to Lima. The guy asked the number and called for me. The next day I wanted to place another call and another guy told me "sorry we do not do calls" (?!?). On the restaurant that the hotel has, the food is not bad, but... when I arrived late for breakfast I asked what it was available. The waiter said everything. When I asked for something specific he started to tell me a tale about the chef and his problems of serving too much people (The point was, they try to say "our service is terrible. but I am not guilty") so I interrupted him and asked What can I eat now!. Something else, they said that there is room service, but there is no menu in the room. When I called the restaurant first thing they said, "Its going to take a long time". So I had to go downstairs. The pool they have is just for children (too small) and the gym is far, you need to ask for the key. I did not use them. At the front desk, keys are on display and unprotected. I took the keys with me when I went out to the street. Anybody walking from the street or those schoolkids could pick up a key and enter any room. As the picture say, they do not care too much for cleanliness. Look for something better in this city.

Horrible experiencia
Reviewed By zelmira-MonchiSolicitamos dos habitaciones para trabajar al día siguiente virtualmente pues estábamos de paso. Llegamos a las 2 am. Y nos cobraron el doble por quedarnos hasta las 7 pm., lo cual no fue problema. El problema fue que las fotos no le hacen justicia a las habitacialquilamos alquilamos. Las sabanas tenían agujero, no había sobresábanas y el cobertor, no parecía limpio; el inodoro no tenía tapa, las duchas sin cortinas. Se le reclamó al hotelero para que nos dejara permanecer en la habitación hasta las 7 pm. como una forma de resarcir tantas fallas del hotel y salir junto con mi hija que trabajaba hasta las 7 pm y por cuya habitación nos cobraron el doble. La calle está sin asfaltar, por tanto es un polvorín. Muy fea experiencia. Fotos que compartí con el hotelero. Aclaro que no tomé el servicio por este medio.
