Great choice for visitors to Haifa

While not a luxury property, it provides convenient and comfortable lodging in a pleasant and interesting neighborhood of Haifa. Lodgers buzz themselves in using a keycard and code, but there's a receptionist available by phone (or via the lockbox intercom) 24\7. The bed was very comortable. The interior of the hotel was very quiet. There is a modest amount of street noise if your room faces Yonatan street, but nights are typically quiet. Two caveats should be offered. One, there is no elevator, so you need to be prepared to carry your bags up a flight of stairs. Two, plan to park (for free) in public lot across the street unless you have an Israel cell phone in which case you can use an app called Pango Israel to park on the street. Breakfast was not expansive but it was varied and entirely satisfying. There's a machine available at all times that produces remarkably good expresso, capuccino etc.

Reviewed By maurizinho72The Dan Panorama Haifa offers a great view and a delicious and satisfaying breakfast. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Not much to see and do around the hotel, but the metro station is very close and convenient to get to Haifa downtown.

Reviewed By Doodle9999We chose this hotel because my wife stayed here in 1973 when it was the Appinger Hotel with a great family history that seem to have a place there. Hava at the front desk was exceptional and gave directions and negotiated a rate for my rental car saving me $500! The room 401 was nice and cool with a beautiful view of The Baha’i Gardens. Many many restaurants in a one block area so no car or taxi required. I would recommend Fatoush. One block toward the Baha’i Gardens.

Wonderful relaxing weekend
Reviewed By ta gWe syayed for a long weekend and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish The best thing about this hotel is the service the staff are friendly accommodating and polite. Hotel rules are kept politely but assertively for the benefit of the other guests Facilities are beautiful with old world charm. I especially liked walking in the manicured garden with little stone fountains, so relaxing. . There is the indoor and outdoor swimming pools which are clean and not too busy. I had a facial and body treatments they were all done by professional and kind ladies. I would like to especially mention Natifa, a such she genuinely loves taking care of people and is warm and professional. The food is unbelievable. Especially the many different salads. The food at dinner doesn't fall from thw best restaurants we've been to in Israel and the world We were however a bit underwhelmed by the movie in the evening. Usually the evening entertainment is much more interesting and unique. All and all a great relaxing experience and we will definitely return in the future.

Reviewed By deborahsb139We chose the Mirabelle Plaza Haifa because of its good reviews and location. We arrived at 2:00, knowing that check in is at 3:00, figuring we'd wait. Long story short, a very difficult woman was at the desk greeting us, and even after 3:00, still insisted that our room wasn't ready- when we asked if we could get a different room, the answer was no. She thankfully went on her break, and I turned to someone else at the desk- Elizabeth- who was lovely, and said 'sure, we can switch your room. Go right up'. There was no reason for a moody greeter. It is unfortunate that a staff member should leave a bad taste for us. We have traveled extensively, and stayed in many Dan hotels: this is the first time in my life that I have left a negative review.

Reviewed By 802iantLocated in the German colony with many restaurants close by and a 10 minute stroll from the Central station this is an ideal hotel to stay at when exploring Haifa. While the photo shoot of the hotel have been cleverly framed the hotel is convenient, the staff were friendly and informative and the room was very clean, spacious and quiet considering proximity to bars and restaurants. Breakfast is taken next door or directly opposite at a choice of restaurants and all were very good. I would stay again without hesitation and recommend to others..
