Reviewed By Dreamer65165807392Wow what an experience, this a true bush holiday full of adventure. We saw lion and elephant non stop! I have never been to a lodge where I constantly saw animals. The lodge manager Hardus is such a character and keeps you entertained, he is also exceptionally knowledgable and accommodating. I would strongly recommend Muweti for your next bush adventure.

Casart Game Lodge is situated in a private nature resrve, Grietjie, who has a open connection with National Kruger park. Grietjie is big 5 area. U can stay in a rondavel with own Jacuzzi. My heart started beating faster when I saw the photos. But on arrival, I was completely sold. The photos already give you a good first impression. But the reality was breathtaking. Top location! The owners, Divya and Bjorn, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and they went above and beyond to meet and exceed our expectations. Nothing is too much for them or their friendly staff and no matter how busy they are, if you have a question or request, you get their full attention. The food is honestly out of this world! Divya served beautifully presented food according to our dietary requirements (we are vegans) and prepared different two course breakfasts and three course dinners every day with loads of fresh ingredients and exquisitely tasted. The lodge itself is situated perfectly with the main deck overlooking a waterhole and a breath-taking view over the beautiful landscape with the Drakensberg mountains in the background. We saw giraffes, kudus, impalas and elephants at the waterhole and had more than once a stunning sighting of a large herd of elephants drinking from the great infinity pool. There were also lots of beautiful birds around :- )! The main area and the lovely, spacious and clean rondavels are unfenced which gives you the real bush experience and allows animals to roam around freely. We even saw elephants passing directly by our rondavel. On top of all we went on several amazing game drives with Bjorn who shared his deep passion for wildlife, the reserve and conservation with us and even spontaneously took us on a drive when lions were spotted nearby. Mbizi was for us something very special and unique and we felt like family during our stay. Thank you so much Divya, Bjorn, Noah (we will never forget the amazing bird talks we had with you) and Luca. We shall hopefully return, and we can highly recommend Mbizi Bush Lodge!

Lengau Lodge is a small lodge in Grietjie Private Nature Reserve, part of Greater Kruger National park. We have three rondavels, each sleeping 2 pax & a family room that sleeps 4 pax. In total we can accommodate 10 guests. This guarantees maximum attention for all of our guests. A daily morning game drive through our private nature reserve, part of Kruger National Park is available with your booking, just as breakfast, lunch and dinner. At the lodge you can also book the daily late afternoon game drive. You can visit many sight-seeing places in the region of the Lodge, but you can also stay and relax around the pool and watch the animals that almost daily visit our water hole. All animals from Kruger will be roaming through our reserve and you will most certainly see Zebra, Giraffe, Elephants, Kudu, Impala, Warthogs and sometimes even Buffalo visiting the waterhole. Lions and Leopards are also frequently visiting us, so if you want to go spotting animals you are more then welcome to stay at Lengau Lodge.

Reviewed By Connector20588303903For someone who has been to South Africa for more than 6 times, Lengau Lodge was probably the best place I have seen. Lovely staff that takes a lot of care and really makes you feel at home during your stay. Safari’s through Grietjie and spotting the Big 5 together with Loek and Siya. Not to mention the breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared with care by Ilse. The scenery is perfect, in the middle of a private nature reserve with the chance to see wild animals at the waterhole. A must visit before/after you plan to visit Kruger park! I will certainly return.

Situated within the Greater Kruger National Park, Lions Place is located in Balule Big 5 Game Reserve. It offers a viewing tower and upper deck area to enjoy the bush view and spot game that comes to drink at the waterhole in front of the lodge. The tastefully decorated rooms offer tea-and-coffee making facilities, air conditioning, Wifi and safety deposit box. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower and/or bath. Guests can relax on sun loungers by the pool or explore the 6500 ha reserve on a game drive. The game drives are offered at an additional charge and are hosted by guides in either English or French. Our morning and sunset game drives are done in our 6500 ha of pristine nature in the Balule Big 5 game reserve open to Kruger National Park along the Olifant river. The nearest airport is Phalaborwa Airport, 21 km from Lions Place.
Outstanding Game Reserve and Friendly Staff!
Reviewed By DIT72We spent 3 nights at Lions Place in October 2021 in a very nice double room. The property is superbly landscaped, with a very nice terrace and swimming pool. At the terrace you can see the wildlife at the waterhole very well. The game drives at Balule / Grietjie Game Reserve were very good and private. There was a lot of animals and J.P. as our guide was great! We had our daily sundowner at a beautiful location at the Game Reserve. The freshly made food for breakfast and dinner is very, very good. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend the Lions Place!
