Mizfal was excellent in making the reservation customized and adapted to the requests put across .Ziyau the manger here will go above and beyond your expectations for customer service. A hard working individual constantly looking to improve the stay . And celebrating a birthday was amazing the team decorated the room and even organised a cake from the main city several miles away across the sea. . Shakil the chef , makes amazing dishes here and left us stuffed . The entire experience was fantastic. The diving spots organised by the team here we're fantastic and a trip that I will most definitely do again . Once again this place has really honoured he with a truly marvellous Maldivian experience , thank you team ocean waves !! See you soon

Amazing guest house in Maldives
Reviewed By Alicia POur stay in Mirian Sky was wonderful! We will never forget this amazing trip. When we arrived at Male's airport, Imran's cousin was waiting for us. He stays with us till we got the speed boat. The journey to Gaafaru is around 1h30 but you profit of Maldivian's sea and views! Gaafaru is a cozy local island and Mirian Sky is the only guesthouse, which makes it unique. Locals are very nice and open-minded (no need to dress for women with long sleeves nor long trousers). Mirian Sky has all the modern facilities: Big bed, air conditioning, tv, wifi...Food is also excellent, it is served by Muhammad, excellent chef. He asks everyday what do you want to eat and for example, we were delighted with Maldivian's food. Regarding our stay, everything was perfect. We had lot of activities organized by Jorey (best guide ever): sand bank, picnic island, snorkle, swimming with turtles... Last night, they helped my fiancée to make the most romantic proposal! We will never forget this experience and we really recommend this stay. Thanks once again Imran, Jorey and Muhammad for your hospitality!

Snorkeling on the reef, fishing from the boat, night fishing, dolphins and turtles photo safari, manta ray snorkeling (if lucky), sand bank excursions, excursions to picnic islands by traditional Maldivian traditional boat (Dhoni) or by speedboat, visits to local handcraft stores, Island hopping, canoeing, catamaran, water sports, Evening barbecue on beach with just catched fish. Reviewed By DK09We had an amazing time at Gaafaru thanks to Mohammed, Ahmed and the staff. Rooms were clean, the food was brilliant and the activtities a lot of fun. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend this place!

Our guesthouse in Gaafaru has been renewed and opened in 2018 and it’s truly comfortable. Its elevated position will allow you to enjoy the amazing sunsets. The guesthouse has 4 double bedrooms, furnished with taste and simplicity, with all comforts included, a private bathroom, A/C, fridge, safe and hairdryer. It is only 3 minutes walking from the bikini beach.
Not an enjoyable stay - we will not go back there
Reviewed By Benoit R#1. the island is getting full of motorbikes, although it's only 300m long. It's ridiculous. A few times, we were walking on the island and some Maldivian on motorbike came rushing 5 centimeters from us. Not a good feeling. #2. in the week-end, the Maldivian come to the beach that is adjacent to the tourist beach. They throw their garbage in the sea (plastic bags, bottles, food). The stream brings the litter to the tourist beach. Very disgusting. #3. The walls of the hotel are so thin that we could hear the person in the next room snoring and farting. #4. We got sick several times from the food served there. #5. The wifi is so bad, that we could not even send an email. It was 50kb/sec. Youtube at 144kb did not work. They lied to us saying that it was normal in the Maldives. It is not. There phones for instance have 2Mb/sec (we checked). We had to pay a local to use his wifi to send an email for work. #6. The mosquee is super loud at 4am. They will wake you up every morning with the sound of the prayer. #7. There is no fish in the sea of the tourist beach. #8. Some Maldivians are constantly sitting in the guest living area sofa near the TV of the hotel, so it's difficult to spend some time there. They are loud and spending the wifi of the hotel. #9. The island is infested of crows (several hundreds of them). They live in the roof of the hotel. They make some much noise at 6 in the morning that they will not let you sleep. #10. None of the staff ever cared about our complains. It's basically none of their problems. #11. There is only 1 restaurant in the island. It's full of flies. Very dirty. #12. The staff is constantly trying to sell excursions. #13. Bad smell from the toilet. #14. The aircon was making a broken noise at night. Not for light sleepers.
