The Hotel "La Dolce Vita" is located on the beach in Esterillos Oeste, Jaco, facing the shore of the Pacific Ocean. The Hotel, with its seven apartments facing a wonderful garden, is a new, first class construction building offering all comforts. Each apartment has patio/deck, terrazzo-balcony and is smartly furnished, bathroom with hot water, air conditioning, fan, kitchen, fridge with up to 4 beds.
Great Staff and GREAT PRICE !!
Reviewed By Karen70764We had two rooms on the ground floor for a week at the end of September. The rooms aren't fancy but certainly much better than adequate. The staff was very friendly and willing to help. You can't get any closer to the beach. You step out of the hotel gates and onto the sand.

The Perfect Spot in a Quiet Town!
Reviewed By SapeoblastThe Spot is the perfect spot and Roger is the absolute perfect host! What a wonderful project he's put together only steps from the beach. The rooms, and property, are very clean and well maintained. The shared kitchen is large and open air which is great for making meals. And, best of all, the garden is all hand planted and well tended too with a few dozen fruit trees (and even a small fish farm!). Free range chicken eggs available for breakfast, and the two friendliest pups on the property as well. The big apartments in the main house look like they should be finished and available soon and are beautiful! They offer probably the best view of the surf break in town which is great for checking the waves. The roof top deck above the rooms is great for yoga, bird watching, or just lounging in the hammocks! Best part about the Spot is that it's only a minute or two from the beach, but it's the opposite direction of all the hubbub in town so it really feels like you're in your own special little paradise! Thanks Roger and The Spot!

We are an ocean front boutique hotel. With rooms that can accommodate anywhere from 1 to 6 people, each room has hot water, fast WiFi & cable TV, fully equipped kitchenette and maid service. We are pet-friendly and have the best location in town right front of the waves for surfing, suitable for experts and beginners. The hotel has a restaurant open with reservation only with a wide selection of plates, surrounded with beautiful gardens. Esterillos Oeste is a little surfing and fishing town with all you need to relax and have a good time and enjoy the true Costa Rican culture. Also we'd love to help you have a pleasant and fun stay hence we can always book your tours or activities. We look forward to share this wonderful paradise with you. Pura vida !
Definite breakfast stop
Reviewed By 846bethanybWe didn’t stay at the hotel but have eaten at its little restaurant for 3 of our 5 breakfasts while staying in Esterillos Oeste. Love being right on the beach while eating. The food is phenomenal and the staff is so friendly. Highly highly recommend!!! Say hello to the dogs: Frida, Mimi and Macho!

Much better than expected
Reviewed By saendi_miWe were a bit unsure about choosing this place given many reviews were not exactly favourable. Glad to find out that they were not representative at all. A lot of the rooms seem to have been remodelled lately, were spacious and clean, the place offers good breakfast and has nice facilities including pool, cocktail bar as well as billiard or ping pong tables. At around 105 USD (standard room) definitely a great alternative if the other options at Playa Esterillos happen to be fully booked.
