Bad bed.
Reviewed By DebsdsThe balcony & view was pleasant & it allowed a cool breeze to flow through. The room was a bit cramped but acceptable. My shin got very hurt on the low wooden bed end not less than 3 times. The bed was too low & a bit uncomfortably firm. It hurt so much walking into the bed end I had bruises & broken skin. We stayed at many hotels this bed in this hotel room was the only one that was not comfortable. The location was convenient to cafes & a park. It wasn't too noisy at night. I think it may've been a bit short-staffed as at times there was no-one to be found at or near reception.

Comfortably situated 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ełk. Smętek apartments and pub stand just meters from the edge of a beautiful lake, across which picturesque sunsets can be seen from the balconies of it's rooms. Each of the apartments is stylishly furnished with fully equipped kitchenettes, bathrooms and lounges with satellite TV as well as views over the lake. They can easily accommodate up to 3 adults or families of 4 ( We have reductions for children) and our competitive prices include free Wifi. In addition to all mentioned above, located on the ground floor is the rustically decorated Smętek pub where you can relax in a warm, cosy atmosphere and enjoy the views out across the lake, which no matter what season, looks different every day.In the summer the promenade is the place to be and be seen, it winds around the lake with paths for walkers and cyclists alike. On the Marina, ( opposite Smetek) which is open from May until September ( weather permitting)order a beer and some fresh local fish for lunch, hire a yacht, kayak, bicycle or pedalo and burn off some calories so you can return later to watch the sunset over a cocktail or 3. Throughout the summer there are live concerts, outdoor movies, firework shows and hot air balloon and jet ski competitions. Out of season things are quieter and for those seeking a holiday with a bit less hustle and bustle Elk is the place to be.

Reviewed By Miroslaw Anice big clean rooms . everything as expected . highly recommended . we stayed just for one night but would love to stay longer . downstairs there is a pub . with good food. all reasonably priced . will be coming back soon

Klimatyczny Hostel na samym dworcu kolejowym
Reviewed By Mariusz PChcecie poczuć klimat dworca kolejowego, polecam ten Hostel. Czysto, miła obsługa, w odległości 50m znajduje się jedna z największych atrakcji Ełku, muzeum kolei wąskotorowej. Jestem przewodnikiem po Ełku i polecam tą lokalizację.

Warm feeling

Grazyna (not sure if that's her name but we called her that :) The hotel is situated at the shore of lake Elk - just outside the main boulevard with lots of restaurants along the way. Room was clean, recently renovated. Breakfast was good, with a personal touch: my wife sighs - to me - that she'd like something sweet. The kitchen lady brings her a pancake in just 2 minutes. She couldn't have heard us! Telepathy or even better a customer oriented approach (know your customer's wish before they know it themselves). That isn't the end: our son got a lollipop after breakfast! Only issue we saw was no english. But they really try to understand (they even used Siri at one point to understand an older German couple sitting next to us). We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend the place.

Romantycznie i przytulnie
Reviewed By Mateusz PŚwietna lokalizacja - przy samej promenadzie w Ełku. Blisko sklepów spożywczych, niedaleko lidl. Sam apartament świetny. Klimatyzacja, aneks kuchenny, jacuzzi na piętrze na którym jest również łazienka, sypialnia i prywatna sauna. W przypadku skorzystania z pakietów dla par otrzymujemy wino musujące oraz kolację przygotowywaną przez Włocha. Jeśli chcecie sprawić swojej drugiej połówce romantyczny wypad zdecydowanie apartamenty Krainy Alicji są dobrą opcją. Minusem jest problem z łazienką - trzeba mieć tam cały czas otwarte okno, ponieważ czuć kanalizę. Na szczęście nie roznosi się to na cały apartament. Utrudniony kontakt telefoniczny z opiekunem lokalu. Co do pozostałych atrakcji w okolicy niestety nie mogę się wypowiedzieć, ponieważ pobyt trafił akurat na okres gdy w Polsce zaczął szaleć koronawirus więc wszystko wokół było pozamykane.

Номера просторные, чистые, из минусов запах с кухни днем и вечером, пока она работает, ночью его нет. Из окна был красивый вид на озеро.

I suggest adding a big wall mirror in the hall area, a chair or two in the bedroom, towel hooks in the bathroom, and the toilet. Also, foreign language tv stations would be a bonus. Breakfast is very continental; a selection of pastries would be nice. Overall, a good value hotel.

overly good, but not in summer time
Reviewed By Journey818028Hotel and staff very helpful and friendly. When it comes to management and owners not so friendly at all. The biggest surprise was the falsehood in amenities. The hotel is air conditioned, but with a single unit for the entire building, that was shutdown at 10pm each night. There was no individual room thermostats or regulation. they were lucky that my mother, who suffers from lung problems, didn't need an ambulance in the night because of how stifling and heavy the air was in our hotel room!
