A fine little hotel
Reviewed By 618karelmI spent a night at the Oddech hotel during a trek in the Giant Mountains. The hotel is quiet and clean, the landlord is a friendly guy, the dinner was fine in a rustic way and the breakfast smorgasbord lavish. An excellent value for money.

Tetřeví boudy is a favoured recreation hotel that is located in the national park of Krkonoše mountains (KRNAP) on top of an enclave in 1030 m.a.s.l. It offers a beautiful panoramic view to the valley of Žalý. The sunsets above Žalý are breathtaking. During good visibility you can see as other famous mountains like Ještěd and Bezděz. Climatic conditions are mild during good weather. Tetřeví boudy are a very interesting destination. In summer, we are the best choice for hiking, and mountain bike cycling. We offer a wide spectrum of possibilities for families to spend your free time and enjoy your vacation. In winter, Tetřeví boudy are an ideal place for cross-country skiers who enjoy magnificent nature and countryside. We are situated right next to the main cross-country path. We are also very good choice for families with small children who learn to ski as we have our own 300-metre-long slope with a trail right under the hotel. We also transport skiers for free to the ski-areal Pec pod Sněžkou to the slope Zahrádky. We hope you come to visit us soon! :)

It is not just a classic mountain hut, but a place with an unbeatable atmosphere where you can have a great meal, a place with very friendly staff, a place where you will find excellent spacious wellness and much more. I believe that I will visit Tetřeví Bouda again soon. ♥ ️ Mohu jen doporučit! Není to jen klasická horská bouda, ale místo s nepřekonatelnou atmosférou, kde si dáte skvělé jídlo, místo s velmi příjemnou obsluhou, místo kde najdete vynikající prostorný wellness a mnoho dalšího. Věřím, že Tetřeví Boudy znovu brzy navštívím. ♥️

Great place near Snežka
Reviewed By Kristina ŠFirst of all, I should say, that we were in early May, when camping was preparing for the main season. So, there was no internet and the price was extremely cheap. The receptionist doesn't speak english. The area was very spacious and nice. You could expect nice hills panorama. Also, you can find the pond, where you could swim in summer. Bathrooms weren't very modern. Showers cost extra. We choose this place because of the location. It was about 15 min from Snežka by car.

This is probably the nicest place we’ve ever stayed at in the Czech Republic (and we’re there quite often), and it is in particular perfect for visiting the area for a skiing trip. Let me start with the location, which is perfect indeed. It is both close enough to the center of the town, where the slopes are, for you to need only a couple of minutes to get there by car, and far enough from the center for you not to be bothered by the bustle of bars and cars. Pretty cool. The rooms are very clean, spacious, well-equipped and at the same time have a cozy feeling that you don’t get at chain hotels. It was a pleasure to come back there after a day of skiing. The food is simply amazing for a small hotel like this. For breakfast, you can get all kinds of cheese, vegetables, tasty salads, and although we don’t eat meat, we noticed there was a selection of sausages, ham, and so on, too, and that the meat eaters around us seemed to be as happy with it as we were with our stuff, that is very much. Overall, the breakfast was very varied and everything was fresh and tasty. Dinners are still another, and equally good, story. Between 4pm and 5pm you can get warm soup, which is a very good idea right after coming down from the slopes. There were different soups every day, each represented the local cuisine, and each was very enjoyable. Then, around 7.30 pm, there is the main dinner, which offers, seriously, some amazing dishes: risottos, knedliki (local specialty), and all kinds of meats and veggie dishes. Plus the dessert, which although we normally skip it, always looked so nice we would yield to the temptation. Ah, yes, if you are into beer, at Gendorf you can enjoy a selection of good local brews, and if wine is your thing, there are also some surprisingly good Moravian wines for you to taste. If you feel like letting your muscles rest a bit after a day of hiking or skiing, you can hit the sauna and the Jacuzzi, which was big enough for us to be able to play water ball there with our kids. :-)) Again, very clean and very nice. Last but not least, there is the owner, Mr. Jiři Boš, who made the whole experience even more enoyable. Mr Boš is super nice, friendly, helpful, and a fun guy to be around. Talking about helpful, on the first day he noticed we didn’t touch our meat at dinner and when he learned we do not eat meat at all, he himself proposed they could cook veggie stuff especially for us. AMAZING, right? And they did, with all this stuff being super good, including awesome zucchini on a hot plate, marinated tofu dishes, and so on. Pure bliss. One final thing, for all you history buffs out there, the hotel was named after Kristof of Gendorf, a XVI century Czech industrialist and politician, quite an interesting figure indeed. If you want to know more about the guy and his story, just ask Mr. Jiři who knows all about it. And even if you do not want to know more, and are not a history buff at all, then the very fact the hotel was named after such a historical figure, should give you a taste of how unique the place is and how much thought and imagination was put into it! Definitely recommended.

Hotel Aurum offers accommodation in newly refurbished rooms in mountain wood style. Rooms are equipped with shower, toilette, phone, satellite TV and minibar. The hotel boasts a swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, fitness room, gym, sauna, whirlpool, bowling and mountain bike rental. It is a great place for active and passive relaxation as you can find rehabilitation and cosmetic services there as well.
Employees are more important than guests.
Reviewed By Traveler2319080When there was no place to park they forced me to change parking place because some employee can't park his car. It was not a suply but a very important manager. I had to park in additioanal parking down the hill. The road was very slippery and it was very hard for me to go there with my 2 years old child. This manager was very unpleasant. They didn't even give me time to finish my meal.

Skvělé pro rodiny s dětmi
Reviewed By I1904Penzion je opravdu skvělé místo pro rodiny s dětmi. Bydleli jsme v apartmánu 3, úplně nahoře. Je to opravdu prostorný apartmán s velkou kuchyní a balkonem. Měla jsem možnost ještě vidět apartmán 4 a 4+ a to je o hodně menší prostor. Celý penzion je ale krásně vybavený a čistý. Penzion má hezkou společenskou místnost, hernu pro malé děti, na zahradě pískoviště, domečky, trampolíny, bazén, hezké sezení. Paní majitelka moc ochotná. Parkování bez problémů. Hodně výletů v okolí. Dá se dokoupit snídaně, ale nevyužili jsme. Stejně tak vím, že je tam vířivka, ale také jsme nevyužili.

Pohodlné ubytování , skvělá kuchyně, která nabízí každý den něco jiného , výhodou pro nášeho 3letého syna byl velký hrací koutek, vše co jsme potřebovali nám bylo poskytnuto bez problému a s úsměvem . Vřele doporučuji k návštěvě a strávení skvěle dovolené za sportem i k odpočinku . Děkujeme moc a určitě se vrátíme.

Reviewed By walen78Doskonałe miejsce na bazę wypadowa w góry. Przestronne apartamenty, wyposażone we wszystko co potrzebne. Idealnie czysto, spokojnie. Teren wokół ogrodzony, zadbany. Intymnie, miło i najlepsza rekomendacją może być zdanie - chce się wracać. W lodówce czekało zimne piwo, dostępny zapas kapsułek do ekspresu, a i rano przed wyjściem na szlak byliśmy obdarowani piwkiem.

Reviewed By Radek TDo tohoto pensionu jsme jeli podruhé. Přijeli jsme s dvouletým synem a partou známých. To je idální, protože děti se navzájem sami zabaví. Společenská místnost je prostorná, je zde dostatek stolů, televize, dále je zde již značně zdevastovaný fotbálek a hračky pro malé děti. Vařili jsme si z vlastních zdrojů. Pro tolik lidí tu chybí jen druhá lednice. Dalo se řešit za chladného počasí chlazením potravin na prostorném balkonu. Kuchyňe je vybavena vařičem s troubou, mikrovlnkou, rychlovarnou konvicí, topinkovačem a kuchyňskou linkou vybavenou potřebným nádobím, příbory a kuchyňským náčiním. Přivezli jsme si vlastní chlazení a po dohodě nám majitelé průběžně zajišťovali sudy s pivem. Ubytování je ve dvou, tří a čtyřlůžkových pokojích. V každém pokoji je televize a koupelna se záchodem. Vedle domu je ve dřevěném sudu sauna pro 4 osoby. S chutí jsme ji za drobný poplatek využili. Doporučuji. V přízemí domu je z garáže udělaná lyžárna, kde jsou vytápěné držáky na lyžařské boty a stojan na lyže. Na sjezdovku je to opravdu blízko a není problém tam dojít v přeskáčích. Pokud jste zvyklí koupit celodenní lyžovačku a v poledne ji prodat, tak tady narazíte. Při prvním použití pernamentky vás turniket vyfotí a pokud na pernamentku jede někdo jiný, nahlásí mu to "zneužití karty". Je to sice menší lyžařské středisko, ale pro naše potřeby stačí. Je zde i spousty možností pro učení prcků od nejmenších, až po ty nejstarší. Pokud jste vyznavači běžek, máte možnost využít pětikilometrový ovál nad lomem, nebo se přesunout skibusem na Hofmanovy boudy nebo do Jánských Lázní a vyjet kabinkou na hřebenovku. Osobně doporučuji výlet na běžkách na Černou horu, směr Kolínská bouda, Pražská bouda, Bouda Svornost, desítka, Tetřeví Boudy, Bönischovy Boudy(tady je sešup dolů a sundavali jsme běžky), potom se ocitnete nahoře na špičáku, ale dá se to slet dolů klikatou zasněženou silnicí. Zvládli jsme to i s croozrem ve kterém si to užíval i náš dvouletý syn. Zajímavostí je tu ekologická lanovka z místního dolu. V Černém dole i u sjezdovek jsme navštívili spoustu občerstvovacích zařízeních, kde mají sice horské ceny, ale můžete v každé ochutnat jiné pivo, jako například Krakonoš, Trautumberk, Kněžna, ale i Plzeň. Kdykoliv jsme se obrátili na majitele s jakýmkoliv přáním, vždy bylo splněno. Celkově hodnotím dovolenou jako velmi vydařenou.
