Reviewed By ErikChristiansenI was greeted with a welcome to Casma by lady at desk in small but adequate foyer and shown options of spotless rooms on 1st floor. Mine was light as was the stairwell leading there. The help and friendliness couldn't be better not only with regards to arranging trip to Sechin but also in general for town advise. There was coffee & tea available for free in dining area though no kitchen facilities. Great little hotel and super value.

Reviewed By Javi LAwful location, in the outskirts of town. Dirty rooms. No hot water. Horrible food. Unhelpful staff. Small pool. Noisy. In a nutshell, everything that would make your stay a really uncomfortable experience.

Visiting Las Poncianas will bring you good memories of your beautiful childhood and the hotel is known as an oasis in the desert. In addition, Casma has a lot to offer you on your visit such as Nature, Adventure, Culture and we are a growing region. The rooms are equipped with their own bathroom, their flat screen TV and you will find a 24 hour reception desk to help you with what you need and make your holiday the best. The Poncianas Club Hotel invites you to visit us, your experience will be first rate.
Disappointing, over-priced hotel
Reviewed By frugalm0mDuring our trip to Peru, we stayed in 7 different hotels, and Las Poncianas was our least favorite. While it may look glamorous in the hotel photos, it has a tired, 1950s Vegas vibe. On the plus, the rooms are large and there are fans and air conditioning for warm weather. The outdoor pools are large and appealing. However, the WiFi is terrible, the beds and bedding are uncomfortable, and the breakfast is meager and unappealing.
