Perfect location for a beach holiday
Reviewed By feemsingBoutique hotel located about 50 meters from the beautiful beach of Florianopolis. Rooms and grounds The rooms are well kept and clean as well as the reception and lobby. Rooms have a fridge and are big enough for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids. Staff Housekeeping and the staff at breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Reception staff could use more of a smile and look up when a guest arrives. Beach The hotel provides you with a parasol and chairs for the beach. Restaurant There is a breakfast buffet served every morning. Good choice of food and juices. Pool Pool is small, its perfect for using after a day at the beach.

Feel the sea breeze and relax to the healing sound of the sea and birds. Excelente location, one of the most beatutiful beaches of the Island, 15 minutos from aiport, 15 a 20 minutes from dowtown and 10 min. From Lagoa da Conceiçao. We do speak several languages. And we offer the best info about gastronomy, best places of the island, nices tours, adventures, and eco and sports. 3 Types of rooms (Superior, Suite and Master).
Away from all the crowds of Florianopolis
Reviewed By RichardHayes2013Experience the real beauty that Florianopolis offers with several beautiful beaches, without the crowds,close by to the town of Camperche. This pousada offers quiet, clean Eco friendly accomodation. All staff very helpful and friendly even with language barriers experienced having not learnt Portuguese before arriving in Brazil. Beds are comfortable and reverse cycle air conditioners in each room. The breakfasts included were very high standard and included freshly squeezed juices, cereals, freshly cut fruit , yoghurt, cakes,breads cheeses, meat , scrambled eggs , jams as well as tea and coffee. Our 2 night stay just increased to 4 nights ! I would highly recommend staying here.

The hostel is located at 50m from the beach and intends to offer confort to sleep, clean and tidy bathrooms and many spaces to socialize. One can exchange ideas at the library, play snooker and have a drink at the bar listening to our LP records, freshen up in the swimming pool, have a good time at the barbecue place or kitchen or just relax in the garden's hammocks.
A piece of Heaven
Reviewed By FamilyOfFour68While there only a couple of days, my 26 yr old son broke his leg riding a motorbike - a double compound fracture, and the hostel's owner, the young & fun Alberto Goulart, a complete stranger, jumped right in to take care of him. As if not busy enough, over the next 40 days, he drove him to all his medical appointments, surgeries, check-ups and even later wheeled him to concerts. My son said the staff was always checking in on him, bringing him snacks, making sure he was comfortable. And of course, there are wonderful amenities (pool, billiards, live music - Alberto plays guitar with a band, beach nearby, etc...). It became my son's home overnight. Alberto speaks perfect English (he lived in Dublin a while), and Spanish, and Italian. This hostel was heaven-sent. Don't break a leg, but if you must, this is the place to be. Or to simply enjoy Brazilian natural beauty, culture, and charming people.

Awesome Brazilian hospitality - Highly recommended!
Reviewed By nessa_11Stayed here in late November 2011. This is a family-run establishment and the entire family is amazingly kind, friendly and hospitable! The owners were Paul (father) and Claire (mother). It's been over 2 years but I think the elder son's name was Paulie and the youngest was adorable (li'l) Paulinho. We didn't get to meet the daughter. This place is a hot spot for surfers, and is an easy 3-min stroll to the very clean Praia do Campeche. Travellers should definitely rent a car for easy mobility around the island. We didn't and needed to grab some groceries from the nearest minimart, and Claire and Paulie was kind enough to help us - Paulie drove us there as soon as he switched outta his surfer suit. The compound felt very safe and secure at all times. Our twin room w/balcony was on the ground floor, but it actually felt more like a service apartment as it came complete with a comfy couch, a laundry drying rack, and a kitchenette. The family was unable to provide breakfast for us (included in our booking) as their adjacent building where the cafe sat was under renovation, and they promptly took the charges off the total bill. Paul senior and li'l Paulinho even took us on a fun tour of the island in their family car. Would we stay here again? Definitely!
