Serene and good place to sleep. Facilities are good. Remember to take the tour inside the cloister!
Reviewed By rendejo1980Looking for places to sleep in Czech I found this place. Since it's something different, we decided to stay in this cloister. We were welcomed by a lady. She could not really speak English, but luckily she was supported by an English speaking man. He told us about the four different keys we had to use (main door, second door, elevator and key to the room). We felt like 'owning' the cloister! I expected the facilities to be more basic then they turned out to be. The shared bathroom was good, the room clean and spacious and the breakfast relatively rich. All in all it was a very serene and nice experience. Also, remember to take the tour inside the cloister. That gives you the chance to see the beautiful library and a copy of the Turin Shroud, which they found in church of the cloister. There's actually a good story behind that, but for that you have to attend the tour.

Great lookout from the spot
Reviewed By mstrauchsrI was there with my father for a late lunch. He was born close to this place and he took me there to enjoy nice view. We were patient to wait for the meal to arrive in 1 hour :). Restaurant was full, there is outside terrace and kids corner. Service was nice but the internal process of managing kitchen orders a bit chaotic. Nevertheless food was good and tasty. If you are not in a rush and want to enjoy and relax with beautiful look around. This is a place.

Breathtaking Beauty on a Sudetenland Ridge Overlooking Poland
Reviewed By gmshaw2015The pension, and the associated restaurant, a short walk up the road, are located near a mountainous ridge between the Czech Republic and Poland. The quiet, mountain location is peaceful and beautiful. The area's ski slopes look to be exciting in winter. The restaurant had good food and good service, at dinner and at breakfast. The tiny mountain village overlooks the town of Broumov (known as Brunau when it was part of the Austrian Empire), which is quaint and historic. The Benedictine Monastery is worth a tour and has an old and admirable library.

Amazing and cute place
Reviewed By robert KWe stopped there for one night on our way back to northern Poland. Very quiet and charming place. The room was clean and big. There were mosquito nets in the windows. The restaurant has ample patio with breath taking view. Unfortunately the restaurant did not served food that evening but drinks only. We spend whole evening on patio enjoying the landscape and local beer "Opat". Restaurant stuff was kind and professional. The next morning substantial breakfast was served.

Reviewed By p_nara2017Everything was awful. There were some bugs inside of bed!! Rooms arent clean. I found hairs on my sheets. No one can speak english! Restaurant was awful. I have never been here again! I called to reception and women closed the phone because she couldn’t speak english. She said that ‘sie kann spreche Deutsch’ but sie kann nicht spreche Deutsch!

Reviewed By Marta RNice location, perfect to visit Adršpach-Teplice Rocks and other beautiful places around. Room was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable. The only problem in the room was the shower - it was quite difficult to get nice, warm water which was either cold or very hot. Meals were all right, nothing special, but if you don't like cumin, you won't like it, as they add it to everything! I would recommend it for a short stay to visit nearby turistic attractions.
